1st: SMITH Miss C H Covehithe Big Hunk O'Love – 7 mth old Bl/Tan Coonhound, nice size & balance for age, pleasing head with good proportions, nice ear set, good expression & eye, good length of neck, good front and rear angles, just needs to strength in front which should come with age, good body with adequate ribbing, holding good topline and tailset, pleasing rear, pleasing on the move for one so young.

1st: SKABOULLOS, Mr A & JENKINS Mr D Mitteleuropa Apfel Strudel (Imp It) - 8 mth old Bl/Tan Coonhound, lovely feminine bitch, lovely moulded head, with correct ear set, lovely eye shape and good expression, enough flew, nice length of neck, well laid shoulders and good front, enough depth for age, well sprung ribs, holding good topline and tailset, lovely rear with good turn of stifle, moved well, pleased to award her BP and delighted to see her pulled out in a strong Hound Puppy Group.

2nd: HORTON, Miss K & SMITH Mr M Coonsar Hill To High Water At Morganbury – 8 mth old bitch, bigger girl, but still well balanced, lovely head with good expression, nice width of front, good body with good spring of ribs, lovely rear, holding a good topline & tailset, not as settled as 1 on the move.

3rd: WHITE, Mr C & SKABOULLOS, Mr A & JENKINS Mr D Covehithe Good Luck Charm

Junior D/B (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: DALE, Mr P N & SAXTON Miss E A Scenterbay Nyx – 14 mth old Bl/Tan Coonhound bitch, lovely profile and balance, feminine bitch but still shows her power, lovely moulded head, with low set ear, and lovely eye and expression, good strong front, nice depth and good spring of rib, holding a level topline and correct tailset, good rear, moved well

2nd: SIMM Mrs S M Swala's Shawn At Ezhar – 15 mth Azawakh male, over good profile, flat skull with long lean head, fairly large eye correctly set, high ear set, long neck, correct moderate angulation front & rear, very deep ribs, would like stronger front movement, but pleasing on rear and profile.

3rd: RUSSELL Mr L & Mrs N Covehithe Lawdy Miss Clawdy At Ulverlei

Post Graduate D/B (5 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: SKABOULLOS, Mr A & JENKINS Mr D Covehithe Memphis Belle – 22 mth old Bl/Tan Coonhound bitch, lovely size and profile, with good bone, lovely head proportions, low set ear, lovely shaped skull, enough stop, nice shaped eye, could be a touch tighter for preference, but good colour, good flews, lovely front and rear angles, good neck, going into well laid shoulders, nice depth, good body, good topline & tailset, lovely rear with well turned stifle, moved well

2nd: TOMKINSON & BINNERSLEY Mr & Miss M & E Covehithe Duke Of Hazzard – litter brother to 1, and winner of limit, very similar to the limit winner, just needs tighten up a bit more which will come with age.

3rd: NEWTON, Mr N J & CLYMER Miss H E Cornishtor Woody

Limit D/B (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 3584 STANLEY Mrs J Covehithe Steam Boat Willy – Bl/Tan Coonhound male of 22 mths, large dog, nice overall body, well balanced, would like a touch more moulding in head to complete the picture, but good low ear set, nice eye shape, enough stop, and good nostrils, muscular neck, nicely laided shoulders, just needs to tighten in front a bit, could have a touch more depth which can still come with age, good ribbing and length of body, holding good topline, correct tailset, nice rear angles with good turn of stifle, good profile movement. 2nd: 3571 DALE, Mr P N & SAXTON Miss E A Eureka Blossoming Meadow (Imp Cze) – 2 yr old Bl/Tan Coonhound, still quite raw at the moment, and just needs to mature up, touch longer in body which causes his body to “run up”, does have a nice head with good moulding, good skull and correct ear set, pleasing and eye and expression, good neck, nice front, needs a touch more depth, good rear and moved well.

1st: 3574 McDONALD-ULLIOTT Mrs J Int Ch Hibeck Dino – 5 yr old Griffon Fauve De Bretagne – I judged this male as a puppy and I was excited about him then, and he failed to disappoint today. Beautiful head proportions, built so well in all departments, and owned the ring on the move, pleased to award him Best Dog and Best AVIMP (Hound). Delighted to see him win the group.

Open Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: SKABOULLOS, Mr A & JENKINS Mr D Darcy Cerne Eso (Cze Imp) – 2 ½ yr old Bl/Tan Coonhound, elegant bitch, but still one of power, beautiful moulded head, with tight dark brown eye, lovely expression, low set ears, muscular neck, going into well laid back shoulders, strong front, well sprung ribs, holding a level top line which she held on the move, correct tailset holding tail high, lovely strong rear, with well-turned stifles, effortless on the move. Pleased to award her Best Bitch.

2nd: McDONALD-ULLIOTT Mrs J Hibeck Erin – 2 yr old Griffon Fauve De Bretagne, younger sister to my Best AVIMP, so much to like about this young lady, lovely balance, good head with correct length of skull, enough stop, correct shaped eye, good ear set, fairly short neck, nice angles front and rear, good body, with well sprung ribs, nice profile movement, just preferred front movement on 1. RBB
