Breed: Terrier Group

Boston  -  Terrier Group

I thought this was quite a strong group. Some of the ‘trimmed’ breeds weren’t in the best of coats, no doubt their owners wanting them to be perfect for March. Those shortlisted but gaining a place were;

Wire Fox Terrier, WILLOWRE WHYTE MAGIC. She is so feminine with a long, clean head. Lengthy neck, with short back and tail bang on top.

Norwich, RAGUS BEYOND QUESTION. As masculine as the Norfolk feminine. He is a really good type d, balanced and went well, pushed hard for a place.

Soft Coated Wheaten, CH GREENTREE GOLD MOMBO TO DENZILLY (IMP USA). Thought he was a really typy d. Super head of correct width, correct proportions and a soft, silky coat. Held himself well and full of Wheaten character.

My winner was the Sealyham, reported on above.

Pushing all the way and ending up runner up was the Norfolk, CH WATERCROFT PINK FIZZ. I believe I gave this lovely b her first CC. She is so feminine, so typy, firm topline and sound as they come.

Third was the puppy Australian, RUAROKATIRO BORN TO RUN. Thought he had a great outline with correct proportions and a firm topline. Correct size, beautifully presented. Can firm in front as he develops but have a great future.

In fourth was the Border, BARKANELLIE BLACKADDER. I liked the outline and proportions of this. His angulation was well balanced, in super coat and an economical mover.
