Manchester Championship Show January 2020.
I thoroughly enjoyed judging this large and quality entry. Good to hear warm applause round the ring for all the winners. The quality was good throughout, with a lot of promising youngsters on show. This bodes well for the future of the breed. I thought my Best of Breed winner looked well in the group.

1st: ROBSON’s Sh Ch Laurelhach Limited Edition At Yohenoak
Really looked the part today. Filled my eye and presented a picture of a quality, mature Gordon. Belying his nine years, he was in gleaming coat and fit, hard condition. Balanced in head with correct stop, shape below his dark eyes and low set ears which give that typical expression. Strong neck of good length and clean throat. Correct front with well boned legs and well laid shoulders. Super width and depth to his chest. Short firm couplings produce a level topline. Good rear angulation producing driving ground covering movement. Impressed me here, then more so in the challenge where I was pleased to award him the CC.
2nd: TIMMERMANN & CORNUM’s Multi Ch Ludstar Don Corleone CW12
Another good one! Also, nine years and looking fit and well. Well-shaped head with good depth and square muzzle. Balanced in body with well angulated shoulders, good depth and length of rib and firm over his loins. He has strength over his quarters and moved well enough. In good body and coat.
