Lancashire Heeler

P (4) 1st Welshmoor Hellofaboy. Really promising pup of just 6 months. Everything right for his age. Excellent shaped head, dark almond eye giving a cheeky expression. Scissor bite. Ears well set and sensitive in use. Good body proportions. Rich tan markings and gave a good account of himself on the move. Excellent temperament, really enjoying his time in the ring. BP.

2nd Madincrowd Edred. Another promising pup and has many good points. Equally pleasing head as 1, but eye shape slightly rounder so not quite the expression. Uses his ears to advantage. Good conformation, bone and feet. Moved soundly in all directions.

3rd Embages May Hemm.

J (1) 1st Heelstone Harry Houdini. Strong, masculine dog. Good head shape with correct eye and expression. Tipped ears, well set and shows lift. Good bone for his frame. Balanced angles. Slightly longer in loin for ideal proportions but in hard condition. Easy mover.

PG (2) 1st Leyeside Mister Wilds At Daweslean. Liked this young dog very much. Excellent height to length proportions. Good head with width to skull and excellent planes. Dark eye. Strong bite. Moderate neck and angulation. Excellent body and coat with rich tan markings on a jet black background. Holds his tail well. Sound mover in all directions. Should gain his title and was close-up in the challenge.

2nd Animalcompaniets Valperez Cowboy Via Simonsville. Another dog with excellent proportions. Good head and expression. Excellent ear set and sensitive in use. Excellent neck and front angles. Holds his outline well and moved soundly and with purpose. Just lacking in body on the day but a functional Heeler nonetheless.

L (3) 1st Applefires Buffalo Bill For Willosyam. Strong, masculine dog. Liked his outline. Head is strong and balanced with correct parallel lines. Scissor bite. Correct eye and ears, used well. Good neck, deep chest, good angulation and bone. Well set tail held in a slight curve on the move. Moved with reach and drive.

2nd Parabar Paratrooper. Smaller and more compact in outline than 1st. Equally pleasing in head and eye shape, just a bit light in colour. Uses his ears to best advantage. Good conformation and coat. Super tail set and carriage. Moved well once settled.

O (5) 1st Ch. Leyeside Mister Ben. A really cracking Heeler from any angle. Lovely head, shows masculinity, good width of skull, moderate stop, excellent planes and well balanced. Good eye shape, strong bite. Excellent ear set and carriage. Strong neck. Deep, functional chest. Firm topline. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Short loin. Muscular quarters. Stands on small, functional feet and in super coat and condition. Moved with a moderate stride, absolutely sound in all directions. Excellent tail. Pleased to award him the CC and BOB.

2nd Ch. Henson Fairest Lad. Bigger, stronger dog than 1st. Lovely head piece. Good reach of neck leading to a soundly made front. Good bone and feet. Excellent body and holds his topline firm at all times. Moved well with a typical brisk gait. Well presented double coat. Res CC.

3rd Limebrook’s Take A Chance on Me At Heelstone.

VD (2) 1st Ch. Troutop Rolo. 11 year old dog that still takes the eye for his excellent breed type, balanced proportions and excellent head and ears. Reachy neck, good angles and holds his topline well for his age. Coat a bit on the soft side now but, overall, he gave a good account of himself. Moved well.

2nd Parabar Pemford At Chambuster. Lovely head, moderate neck and front angulation. Excellent bone and stands on good feet. Excellent topline for his age. Moved well enough, just a bit restricted at the rear. Excellent tail set and carriage. In good double coat but tan could be clearer.

PB (4) Nice class of pups 1st Selestar Salix Lutea With Foveaux. 7 month old pup. Feminine and a nicely balanced shape at this stage. Good head and muzzle, balanced with moderate stop. Well set ears, dark, almond eye. Correct bite. Moderate neck. Good angles and body for age. Confident on the table and absolutely sound on the move. Think she will have a bright future.

2nd Welshmoor Hellfire. Loved this baby too. So similar to her sibling who clinched BP today, just a feminine version. Not quite as forward as 1st or as settled on the move but I am sure these two will change places many times in the future.

3rd Shadsdale Bambi Chicks.

JB (4) 1st Princess Pollyanna From Simonsville. Excellent youngster. Correct height to length proportions. Good head shape with correct planes and good width of skull. Well set and used ears. Almond eye. Good reach of neck. Chest developing well. Good layback of shoulder. Strong bone for her size. Firm topline. Well angled rear. Moved freely with a brisk gait. Lovely rich tan on a deep black coat. Considered her in the challenge.

2nd S Salix Lutea With F.

3rd Lankeela Tekeela Sunrise.

PGB (5) 1st Vittador Annabella. Excellent type, size and balance all through. Good head and eye. Excellent ears, sensitive in use. Good overall conformation with bone and correct feet to match. Excellent tail set and carried well. Good double coat, beautifully presented. Moved well from profile and going away, can tighten further coming towards.

2nd Axa’s Warrior Of Moira. Smaller, feminine bitch. Lovely head, eye and ears. Good to go over on the table and a super temperament. Lovely coat and colours. Sound mover.

3rd Parabar Paxton’s Posy.

LB (6) Most difficult class of the day to sort out. 1st Tagwynion The Special One At Swanndale. Ultra feminine bitch. Very nice head proportions. Good skull and correct stop. Ears set ok but used well. Good eye shape and colour. Moderate neck. Firm topline. Ok for bone. Functional, small feet. Nicely angled both ends. Tan rather pale but set on a jet black background, in good coat. Best mover in the class. Correct tail.

2nd Madincrowd Mercy Chant. At first glance I thought this lovely bitch would be my winner. Excellent head and body proportions and well bodied. Good angles, bone and excellent coat and colours. Rather unsettled on the day, plenty of drive at the rear but needs to tighten in front. I am sure she will have better days when on form. Easily deserves to carry her title.

3rd Parabar Paxton’s Posy.

OB (8) 1st Leyeside Miss Bonnie. Gorgeous bitch. Mature and of lovely size with substance to compliment. Excellent head, correct stop and parallel planes. Good eye shape and colour giving a typical expression. Well set ears of correct size and used to advantage. Strong neck, deep chest. Excellent topline, short loins and good angulation. The whole pleasing package coming together on the move to display a sound, brisk gait. In lovely coat and condition. Pleased to award her the CC. Told after judging she is litter sister to the DCC winner…what a lovely pair!

2nd Ch. Foxthyme Eleanor With Troutop. A favourite of mine that has done well under me in the past. Now a veteran and loses none of her appeal. Lovely breed type. Substantially built with good depth all through and correct bone for her size. Good head and expression. Uses her ears to advantage. Sound conformation and a true mover. Correct tail. Res CC.

3rd Foveaux Oz Lady Madonna.

VB (2) 1st Ronleydon Mega Cascade Of Taigwynion. Very nice bitch who appeals for her good proportions. Excellent head, eye and ears. Good neck, deep chest, still firm in topline and sound hindquarters. Tail set and carried well on the move.

2nd Swanndale Scrumpy. Liked this veteran girl too. She has a super outline and good for size and function. Everything to like and pleasing to go over on the table. Just carrying a bit too much weight and not as settled going away as 1st. Both these girls were in lovely coat, rich tan markings and deep black background.
