Boston & District Canine Society

Breed: Bearded Collie

Thank you to the Committee of Boston & District CS who invited me to judge the 1st General Championship show of 2020, lovely spacious rings and gracious exhibitors. Many thanks to my 2 brilliant stewards Mark and Bruce who kept the ring ‘flowing’ leaving plenty of time for a 2nd breed to be judged on time. On the whole all exhibits were of good quality and temperament giving me some difficult decisions in many classes.

MPD 2(1)

1. Hollis’ Adjucet Tale As Old As Time. 7 month old slate who was very unhappy and unsettled in his surroundings today. Appealing, kind head with dark eye and balanced skull. Nicely angulated throughout with good body proportions. When he settled, there were glimpses of some sound reach and drive, excellent muscle tone for such a young boy. Presented in lovely condition with harsh coat developing well.

2. Goodbrand’s Braesnobel Looney Tunes. Dark slate of 11 months with balanced head and kind expression. Nicely angulated all through with good body proportions, strong top-line and well muscled rear. Moved out well in profile but tended to be a little untidy going away in the rear. Well presented in quality coat of good texture.
