Junior Handling

Age 6 – 11

1 Emma Sweet – Emma presented as a calm confident handler. Emma talked to her dog whilst presenting her for examination and whilst on the move getting the best out of her exhibit. Emma kept an eye on the judge at all times ensuring her dog was stood four square even when it was not her dog being judged.

2 Toby Bond - I was very impressed with this young man showing a Boxer that was almost as big as him with great confidence both when presenting the dog for examination and when moving her around the ring to show off his skills as a handler and her movement.  Definitely one to watch for the future.

Age 12 – 17

1 Ryan Dewey – An excellent handler who was calm and attentive to detail in the ring.  Ryan presented his dog for inspection with confidence talking gently to his dog, he excelled on the move watching both the dog and the judge ensuring he got the very best out of his exhibit and following the judge’s requests to the letter.

2 Rebekah Hallett – Another excellent handler who pushed Ryan very hard for his placing.  Rebekah watched both the judge and her dog at all times, she was calm and gentle presenting her dog for examination with confidence and getting the very best out of her dog the whole time she was in the ring.
