Terriers and Utility breeds

My thanks to the committee for their kind invitation to judge and to my ring steward for keeping things running smoothly.

Border Terrier

G (4)

1. Davies’ Ianteg Pink Porche. Smart young bitch who caught my eye straight away. Pleasing outline and a handy size too. Feminine Otter like head with keen expression, good dark eyes and small well placed ears. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, good legs and feet, firm topline, and well ribbed back. Easily spannable and shown in harsh jacket with thick pliable pelt. Moved out well with an easy ground covering action. BOB & Group 4.

2. Sneddon’s Glen Mara Oh Viedo At Kersfell (Imp Fra). Another pleasing young dog, full of breed type, handy size and easily spanned. Pleasing otter like head, well set ears and keen expression. Good front, well laid shoulders well ribbed back and good hind angulation and tail set. Coat not at his best today and not quite as settled on move as winner.

3. Jones’ Rhozzum Truffle At Otterholme.

4. Lowe & Miles’ Brumborder Jump Ship To Rockslade. Not as mature as class mates, has good shoulders and rib and is narrow throughout, spanned well. Shown in super jacket and fit condition. Just needs to firm up a little at front but time should help that. BPIB & Puppy group 2.
