J (2-1)

1. Hardcastle & Bradley, Vizslanya Sziena JW, very promising young bitch, noble head and expression, strong muscular neck that flowed into her well laid shoulder, good body and depth with a strong backend and good second thigh, moved with purpose and correct tail carriage.

PG (3-2)

1. Bradley, Highforce One Vision, loved the head and expression on this bitch, good eye, correct ears and pigment, shown in excellent condition, good bone, body and depth, loved her clean outline, excellent shoulder and moderate hind angulation gave her the correct movement. BOB and delighted to see her take Group 2

2. Miles, Layways Van Winkle JW, another nice young dog, liked his head and expression, good neck, well off for bone and strong upright pasterns, shown in good hard condition, just needs to tighten in front, moved well in profile. RBOB

O (2-1)

1. Bradley, Sh Ch Vizslanya Vivmany by Highforce JW ShCM ShCEx  Lovely feminine bitch, good head and expression,  flowing into a strong neck and well laid shoulder, good body and strong rear, a mature worthy champion, moved well but unfortunately seemed a little flat and unsettled in the challenge.

Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas

P (1-1)

1. Tasker, Leiborschy Mazarine promising young dog, nice head with good bone and correct harsh coat, nice straight front with strong pasterns, just getting to that lanky teenage stage, so needs time to mature and strengthen in body and hindquarters BP & RBOB

J (1-1)

1. Holt, Maiashy Akori nice feminine young bitch, liked her head and expression, good ears, strong clean neck into well laid shoulder, good body and topline with moderate angulation behind, good bone and good harsh coat, still needs to mature and drop in brisket for the finished picture. BOB

PG (2-2)

1. Keenan, Sedgelands Cuppa Caillie Kutyahaus very sound bitch and moved so true, lovely feminine expression, clean arched neck, lovely shoulders and tight elbows, good body and length finished with strong but moderate hindquarters, not the best of coats and carrying a bit too much condition but flowed around the ring, just need to move her a bit faster.

2. Clymer, Phantomfuror Guava, a very raw young dog that gave his handler a workout, nice head and expression, good bone and coat but not as good in shoulder or hindquaters as my winner, still needs to mature and tighten.

O (2-2)

1. Phantomfuror Guava

2. Keenan, Retama Royal Kutyahaus, strong mature dog with good bone, a little heavy in head and throaty with a lack of beard and eyebrows, strong neck and shoulders, good body but would have preferred more length of rib, he was naughty on the move and spoiled by his tail carriage.

Pointers

J (1-1)

1. Astbury, Penwest Photo Finish for Dorbury, smart young dog, good head and neck, clean over his shoulders with ribs extending well back to a short strong loin, good bone and feet, still need to mature and drop in brisket, moved ok but a little tense in the ring so didn’t show himself off the best.

PG (4-4)

1. Watkins, Phillips & Gordon, Hawkfield Audacious (AI) JW, lovely feminine bitch, like her head, dark eye and pigment, long elegant neck that flows into her well laid shoulder, good topline, strong and well-muscled behind with a good expanse of second thigh, correct oval bone and slight slope to pasterns. Covered the ground well to take the class, but just not as together as my open winner RBOB

2. Astbury, Millpoint Simply in Step with Dorbury JW, Big strong dog, loved his head and expression and when I looked at his breeding I know why, good depth, bone and body, correct angulation but just not as together on the move as my winner.

O (5-5)

1. Norbury & Adams, Medogold Bamalam at Heartbury JW ShCM, very smart young bitch shown in top condition, loved everything about her, from her head to her tail, she was a series of graceful curves, well off for bone yet remained feminine, everything as it should be and moved with plenty drive around the ring with her tail lashing from side to side, pleased to award her BOB and to watch her take the Gundog Group, well done.

2. Bell & Maddox, Luneville Dazzling Diamond at Owlspoint JW, smart young dog with a lovely head and expression, good body and well-muscled, correct bone and feet, shown in good hard condition, moved well but couldn’t match the bitch in profile.

Welsh Springer Spaniels

P (1-1)

1. Short, Ferndel Fire Gem at Toftwood, a very promising baby, everything is there in the right place, she may have stood alone but it was certainly quality over quantity, a little unsure to start with but she gained confidence each time she went in the ring and was pleased to see her gain a well-deserved place in the puppy group.
