Cambuslang canine club 16.11.19 Thank you to the committee for allowing me the privilege to judge the Utility group at this show, also to the exhibitors who gave a great entry making for an interesting day judging, Presentation was excellent with a few quality dogs not being rewarded in the group selection. GROUP 1: Hunter & Murphy, Poodle (Miniature), Lotsmoor Miradel Hidden Ink @ Silvora. Male, 2Yrs, White with excellent coat in hard condition with a smart clip, well-shaped long fine head carried high & proud, dark eye, long wide leathers, complete scissor bite, standing rock solid, level topline, strong precise movement driving strongly from hocks both straight & true. GROUP 2: Maxwell & Chalmers, Lhasa apso, Cossy’s Esmee with Aintshe, 3Yrs, Particolored, Sturdy feminine Bitch of good proportions, well bodied, nice head with dark pigment, ears set on a level with eye, pendant ear, reverse scissor bite, correct amount of bone, high set tail, and free flowing movement. Long heavy coat, push hard for Group 1. GROUP 3: Shepheard, Keeshond, Lyntova I am Legend, 3-1/2Yrs, Grey/Black harsh coated bitch, neat wedge shaped head with dark pigment, dark almond eye, correct scissor bite, long neck, short compact body, moved briskly, nice size. GROUP 4: Best & Rawlings, Trixwood Vision Of Both Ways, Jap Shiba Inu, 2Yrs, Red, Male, good for size & shape, typical head with blunt triangles broad flat skull wide cheeks, strong scissor bite, short coupled body, deep fore chest, cat like feet, moved soundly. A.V.Utility Special Puppy 1st Pediani, (Tibetan Terrier), Routenburn Ultra Gold, Male, Gold/White, 8mths stylish youngster with outgoing personality, correct size & coat for age, balanced head with dark pigment, moved soundly, level top line & square outline, tail curled over & carried high. 2nd Murphy, Poodle (miniature), Mapleburn Sentosh @ Silvora, Bitch, Black, 7mths, sound moving bitch, presented in good condition & clip, well chiselled foreface both long & fine, dark pigment, dark almond eye, strong scissor bite. 3rd McKean, (Keeshond), Kichigai This Girl is mine @ Yawren, Bitch, 12mths, mature puppy who showed so well, abundant coat, short square compact body, correct head proportions, small ears, strong scissor bite, long high set tail, sound movement. 4th Furey, Poodle (Toy), Haselnut Praline, Bitch, Brown, 7mths, Stylish puppy who I thought highly of in the breed class placing second, but glad I had the opportunity to award her a group placement, good breed type & show trim, proportion in head both long & fine with moderate stop, liver pigment, ear leathers long & wide, good length of neck, deep chest, correct size, straight strong muscular legs, moved with purpose. Japanese Shiba Inu Post Graduate (3:2) 1st Best-Rawlings,Trixwood Vision Of Both Ways. 2nd Japanese Shiba Inu Open (4:2) 1st Best-Rawlings,Trixwood Addicted to Love, Bitch, Red, 10Yrs, credit to the owner being able to show this girl who was in good sound condition if a little over weight in my opinion, correct head proportions, dark pigmentation, small almond eye, complete scissor bite you could tell she knew the ring procedure well, correct body ratio. 2nd Best-Rawlings,Casakura Precious Rhapsody Among Trixwood , 3Yrs, Red, not wanting to behave today a little giddy, I feel she needed to body up a little, she has all the finer points of the breed, moved soundly both ways, high set thick curled tail, harsh coated. German Spitz (Klein) Open (4:1) 1st Spence, Spencerian Doggy Style, B.O.B Bitch, Black, 4Yrs, This is a breed I have owned in the past (Mittel) Correct height, square shape body, abundant double coated with no evidence of trimming, large head with moderate stop, medium size oval eye, small triangular ear, scissor bite, fine bone, straight brisk movement. 2nd Spence, Spencerian Kiss me quick, Bitch, 4Yrs, Black, Slightly longer cast than first, shown in good coat, moved soundly, similar qualities to class winner, short in neck, tight cat feet. 3rd Spence Caribbean Queen. German Spitz (Mittel) Open (1:1) Lhasa Apso Post Graduate (3:0) 1st Maxwell & Chalmers, Aintshe Ona, 20mths, Bitch, Gold, shown in good long & heavy coat, nicely balanced outline, attractive head with moderate stop & narrow skull, moderate stop, correct length of neck, dark pigment, moved well driving from rear. 2nd Hinshelwood, Muirfauld Amazing Lace, 13 mths, Gold Brindle, Bitch, another quality exhibit who lost out maturity, happy & outgoing temperament, everything in place, balanced outline, firm level topline, moved soundly. 3rd Logan, Spyanki Heaven Knows. Lhasa Apso Open (3:0) 1st Maxwell & Chalmers, Lhasa apso, Cossy’s Esmee with Aintshe B.O.B Group 2 2nd Abercrombie, Jackantoes Joy Among Tibwood, Bitch, 8Yrs, Gold, just starting to show her age a little, but in very good condition and pushed hard for this class, excellent breed type, well balanced body, arched neck with good length, straight forelegs, muscular hindquarters, moved well. 3rd Hinshelwood, Wonder Woman Astarte old With Muirfauld. Japenese Spitz Open (0:0) Keeshond Open (5:0) 1st Shepheard, Keeshond, Lyntova I am Legend, B.O.B. Group 3. 2nd Mckean, Kichigai This Girl is Mine @ Yawren, 4Yrs, Slightly smaller than class winner, shown in good condition, well balanced feminine bitch with level top-line, good spring of rib & depth of chest, harsh coated, short back with high set tail, moved well. 3rd Bell, Foxifayre Keep The Faith With Allforus. Tibetan Terrier Post Graduate (3:0) 1st King, Araki Magic Dancer For Karamyst, 16mths, Black/White, shown in good coat for age, very mature, good head proportions & stop, good dentition, with reach of neck, well bent stifles & low set hocks, moved with plenty of drive. Tibetan Terrier Open (2:0) 1st Pediani, Routenburn This is The One @ Glencoul, Bitch, 2Yrs, Gold/White, Very close decision between these two exhibits, both having good breed type, eye catching color, correct shape, pleasing in head, dark pigment, profuse coat, moved soundly keeping her topline on the move, well museled, outgoing temperament. 2nd Underwood, Araki Queen Latifah, Bitch, 3Yrs, Black/White, shown in tip-top condition, I thought there was much quality in these exhibits, so easy to go over this girl on the table, pleasing head correct stop, dark pigment, with reach of neck, good body & ribs, shoulders well laid, moved with plenty of drive. Poodle (Standard) Open (2:1) 1st Crawford Nasus Prized Topas @ Tussars, Male, Black with thick coat, 16mths, B.O.B, short coupled body well-constructed, quality trim, long chiseled head, dark pigment as expected with this color, moved with style, correct tail & top line, plenty of neck. Poodle (Miniature) Open (1:0) 1st Hunter & Murphy, Lotsmoor Miradel Hidden Ink @ Silvora, Male, 2Yrs, White, B.O.B, Group 1. Poodle (Toy) Open (2:0) 1st Mcginty, Malanthios Dream Girl @ Martlynn, Bitch, 6mths, Black, B.O.B, loved this little girl who showed so well, so much dog in a small package, so raw but had something about her that took my eye, refined head with plenty of foreface, good eye, so short in back, moved well, lots of thick coat for age. 2nd Furey Haselnut Praline, Bitch, 8mths, brown, A.V.Utility Special Puppy 4 Dalmatian Open (0) Shih Tzu Open (0) Miniture Schnauzer Open (0) 1st Craig, Siglette Stunner, B.O.B Bitch, 2Yrs, Salt n Pepper, smart sturdy little girl, deep broad chest, strong head with good length & medium stop, stubby moustache & whiskers, dark oval eye, complete scissor bite, long strong neck, neat tail set high balancing the body, free brisk movement. Tibetan spaniel Junior (1) 1st Abercrombie, Ravenways Don’t Let Go For Tibwood, Bitch, 13mths, Gold, shown in good coat, with pleasing temperament both active & alert, feminine head which was small in proportion to body, dark pigment, undershot bite, strong rear with hocks well let down, small hare footed, silky coat, moved so well. Tibetan Spaniel (Graduate) (2:2) Tibetan Spaniel (Open) 1st Campbell Tulibell Freddie Krugger, B.O.B Male, 2Yrs, Fawn, medium & moderate seems to be the main criteria of this breed, masculine head without coarseness, slight defined stop, dark oval eye, pendant ear, undershot bite, short strong neck, longer than high body ratio, high set profuse tail, sound positive movement. 2nd Abercrombie, Tibwood Big Socks, Male, 5Yrs, Fawn, another masculine male, conforming well to the breed standard, profuse coat, liked his head, darkest pigment, neat ears lifting from skull of medium length, correct bone front legs slight bowing, moved well, two very good exhibits. French Bulldog Post Graduate (2:1) 1st McGowan, Norwilbeck Bellchime Gigi, B.O.B Bitch, 7mths, sturdy compact cobby body that was very muscular, with plenty of bone, well defined broad muzzle with defined stop, wide rounded ears, dark round ears, short tail, good movement both front & rear. B.O.B French Bulldog Open (1:1) A.V.Utility NSC Open (3:1) 1st Parkinson, Eurasier, Ir Lux Ch Xania De Eurasipomer @ Kaydanmy, B.O.B Bitch, Cream with harsh coat, 4Yrs, well bodied with correct length to height ratio, with that typical spitz head, dark oval eye, small erect ears, stood on tight feet, high set thick cured tail, moved with precision, I am becoming a great admirer of this breed. 2nd McKean Silmoralbion Euphoria @ Yawren, Bitch, 5Yrs, Red, Very similar to class winner, this girl was very attentive to owner/exhibitor, profuse coat, correct ear size & placement, moved soundly, deep forchest.
