3. Royle & Fricke’s Chiendetom Andante
Open 8,4
1. Wilkinson’s Citycroft Starfall JW. Completely new to me but I admired her qualities from the beginning. Well put together, unexaggerated but retains such femininity. She has such a beautiful head and expression. Elegant neck which she uses to advantage. She is beautifully constructed with everything in the right places. Lovely curves and correct front and rear angles. She demonstrates her quality on the move, with such reach of forehand and easy rear drive. On the stand she produces a classic profile. She reminds me so much of a Savilepark bitch I had the pleasure to handle for Barbara Robinson many years ago and this probably made the difference between 1 & 2. BOB. I was delighted that the Hound Group judge sent her through to the BIS ring, where I was delighted to award her BIS.
2. Yacoby-Wright’s Cobyco Candy Crème. Another really beautiful bitch although of a very different type to 1. This pale fawn presents an impressive outline and well-balanced proportions. Stands over a lot of ground. Typical head and expression leading to good neck and well laid shoulders. Good bend of stifle leading to nice low hocks used to advantage as she moved flawlessly around the ring but one I feel needs a larger ring in which to move at optimum speed. A really hard decision here between two top class bitches.
