. Apologies for the delay in submitting this report but I have had an extremely busy fortnight. This was a thoroughly enjoyable show, some lovely dogs, sporting exhibitors and two very good stewards who kept the rings (and me) in good order. Siberian Husky 1 Rodgers’Jedisibes Dark Expresso. Very typical head and expression. Nicely balanced with good length of leg and decent body proportions. Moderate bone. Compact, well padded feet. Easy, light profile action. Could be a little positive going away from me. Great Dane Junior 1 Holland’s Axeford Arizona of Dramlex. Tall and elegant with a most pleasing head, dark eyes, neat well-carried ears and definite ridge on nose. Moderate forechest, decent depth of chest. Pleases for both balance and type. 2 McElroy’s Clanalba Gu Brath. Just 6 months old and she gave a good account of herself. Nice length of neck, well laid shoulders, strong flat bone. Open 1 Young, Cunningham, Gilbert & Robertson’s Ch Gretadane I’m In Bother with ILuvdane JW SHCM. BOB. A strongly built, handsome masculine dog who still has some elegance. Very attractive head and expression; dark, deep set eyes. Lengthy neck and good shoulders. Well ribbed with good depth of chest and strong loin. Good bone and feet. Strong, well-muscled hindquarters and impressed on the move. 2 Holland’s Socar Nosey Parker at Dramlex. Well balanced and very typey, grand head with dark eyes and neat ears. Good forehand with flat bone, some forechest and decent depth of brisket. Presents a good outline, free moving but could have more drive from the rear. 3 McGill’s Clanalba Eile Braigh Mharr for Karnduke Newfoundland Post Graduate 1 Leitch’s Bluebear Spirit of Dakota. BOB. Free moving with typical slight roll. Good sized skull, lovely clean, fairly small, dark eyes. Moderate neck and good shoulders. Well ribbed with some strength over the loin. Typical coat, presented to advantage. His youthful exuberance gave him the edge in the challenge for BOB. Open 1 Leitch’s Seafar Last Tango in Paris JW ShCM. A mature, masculine dog of impressive type and quality. Good skull, very moderate muzzle and excellent eyes. Firm, broad topline, strong well-muscled hindquarters.
