Many thanks for the honour to judge Best in Show at this club. The committee were extremely helpful and the venue was very good. Many thanks to all the exhibitors for entering and for accepting my judgements on the day.

1st Dunsmore Mr & Mrs, Jaudas Kind of Magic: - 2 year old boy of good size, giving the appearance of a strong muscular dog, head in correct proportion to body, good pigment in wide nostrils, correct jaw witch scissor bite, correct eye with no haw, Strong slightly arched neck, well laid back shoulders, straight front with good bone, good tight feet, short coupled with broad hips, good muscle in rear, good turn of stifle, tail set correct, moved freely. 2nd Logie & Blackwood E&F, Albadhu Pawsiitive Vibes: - 10 mth old girl lovely shape in good body for age, good bone all over moved steady with handler, could change places in a few months.

1st Alcorn, Mr D, C & M, Johnstone & Davidson, Gunalt Hendricks:- 6 mth old boy presenting a lovely balanced outline at such a young age, head giving that aristocratic look, head of correct size, straight foreface, correct coloured nose, kind expression, clean long neck, front legs straight with good feet, chest well developed and deep, ribs sprung and extending well back, topline level with slight slope at croup, rear angulation good with lovely turn of stifle, definition of muscle starting to show, moved without effort around the ring, very steady boy for such a young age. One to watch. Best of Breed

2nd Halliday Mr & Mrs A & D, Greyspirit Orora T’Ohalla:-  6 mth old girl, correct for age, handler had difficulty getting her to settle today, head correct and feminine, front straight although attention required to feet placement, body of good size not overweight, good rear quarters with good turn of stifle, moved a little erratic.

1st Cain Mr & Mrs S, J & S, A, Schonhund Show Tallulah:- 18mth old bitch of lovely size, feminine head of correct type, correct eye colour, clean long neck into nice shoulders, good development of chest, body well developed and deep, good spring of rib and well back into short loin, level toppling and good rear quarters, in good coat. Moved well

2nd McMahon Mr & Mrs A&P, Silverkelvin Jupiter: - 2 year old dog in good condition, correct head, long clean neck, straight front with correct feet, good depth of body with well sprung ribs, level topline, good angulation in rear, well-muscled, moved well with handler.

1st MacLaine & Dickson, JP & R, Greyspirit Hopes N’ Dreams: - 2 year old girl correct size giving the correct picture, feminine head of correct proportions, correct eye, straight front with firm well arched toes, well developed chest of correct depth, level topline with slightly sloping croup, lovely rear angulation with good turn of stifle, well-muscled, moved effortlessly round the ring holding topline level.

1st MacLaine & Dickson, JP & R, Greyspirit Purdie JW, CJW17 ShCM: - Feminine girl just over 3 years of age in lovely condition, pleasing head with correct eyes and ears giving the correct aristocratic look, long clean neck, good depth of chest straight front with nice feet and arched toes, clean body with ribs well sprung and well back short loin, very good rear quarters with good turn of stifle another from same kennel as limit in good hard condition, moved effortlessly.

2nd Rintoul Mr & Mrs A&J, Silberstern Water Buoy: - 10 year old boy still in good condition, some signs of age, head of correct size good length of neck correct front with correct tight feet, body in lovely condition good depth with well sprung ribs, level topline, good rear angulation with strong muscled rear angulation, moved well without effort.

1st Knowles, Glen & Malcolm S, I, L, Bessalone World on Fire: - 7 ½ mth girl of very good shape squarely built and good size, correct head and expression, eyes correct and good nose, front well boned and straight, correct front feet, correct topline into broad croup, body well developed, and of good coat, good bend of stifle moved out freely and topline held well on the move.   

2nd Knowles, Glen S, S, I, Bessalone Peaky Blinders: - Brother of one, correct head and expression, similar to one in type, good front not as defined as bitch, feet of good size, correct well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest, topline slopes and rises slightly over loin, good turn of stifle within defined rear quarters. Lost out on movement to one.

1st Thomson Ms S, S, Ir Sh Ch Sarscottah Arris: - German Longhaired Pointer of good size, very energetic boy of 4 years of age, giving handler a tough job, head with aristocratic appearance, foreface and skull of proportionate length, oval dark eye, well feathered correct ears, correct moderate strong neck into strong sloping shoulders, good straight front with sloping pastern, well feathered, broad deep ribcage reaching to elbows, well-muscled loins, well bent stifles and well-muscled, overall coat of good type, eventually moved well with handler. 2nd Gilroy Mr & Mrs FS & HR, Claychalk Alfonsa: - Spanish Water Dog of medium size and of good type, correct coat and in good condition, head strong and elegant, correct eye and nostrils, correct v shaped ears, short strong clean neck set well into shoulders, front straight with round tight feet, level top line deep well sprung chest, strong muscled rear, moved powerfully round the ring.

2nd Gibbon, Mrs S, Kavacanne Cheeky Vimto at Faubourg: - Liver and white GSP good head, correct length of neck front straight although feet could be tighter, would have preferred a little more layback to shoulder, topline level, moved steady although tail stayed down.

2nd Gerrard Mrs M, Hookwood Showpiece at Carmandine ShCM: - One I have judged before 6 year old Pointer in excellent condition, pleasing head, pronounced occiput, strong arched neck into well laid shoulders, topline strong, good depth of chest, good turn of stifle, and strong well-muscled rear with good angulation, correct tail set off the top used correctly on the move, handler and dog as one moved with drive.

1st Alcorn, Stafford, Clayton DR & D, Gwendariffs Red Light Show: - 2¾ year old Irish Setter dog, a dream to go over, meets the standard of racy, balanced and full of quality and fully proportionate in confirmation, head long and lean with no sign of coarseness, giving the overall picture of kindness and intelligence, lovely clean length of muscular neck with correct amount of arch, shoulders deep and sloping well laid back, front legs straight with correct amount of bone, correct firm feet, chest certainly did not disappoint very deep with well sprung ribs, firm slightly sloping topline into muscular rear quarters, coat of rich chestnut in fabulous condition, when this boy moved it was stunning to see, free mover holding everything together Best in Show

2nd in Show, Brown A, M & M, Ramsayville Revolver: - 18mth Black Labrador meets the standard to a T, giving the impression of a strongly built short coupled dog, broad in skull, broad and deep through the chest strong in loins and hindquarters, this boy showed non-stop handled to perfection and moved freely covering the ground in true fashion. Reserve Best in Show

3rd in Show, Gerrard & Galloway M&L, Sharnphilly Santorelli with Carmendine: - 3 year old Pointer in his prime, well chiselled head lovely eye and correct ears, head of medium breadth, well defined stop well arched neck into well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest and spring of rib, correct front and feet, strong topline with tail coming off back strong rear quarters allowing good drive on the move, moved effortlessly with handler.

4th in Show, Knowles & Glen S, S, I, Wilholme Had a Lovely Time with Bessalone: - 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer boy good head correct eye, good length of neck into strong shoulders, good depth of correctly shaped chest, straight front and lovely feet, good topline into strong rear, moved well with handler.

1st Gerrard Mrs M, Chesterhope C’mon over to Carmandine: - 9mth old Pointer bitch, I have seen this girl around and have wanted to get the opportunity to go over her and it did not disappoint, a series of graceful curves, lovely feminine head of good proportion, well defined stop occiput well pronounced, correct ears, long muscular neck coming cleanly from well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest and brisket well let down to elbows, front lovely oval bone with slightly sloping pasterns ending in correct oval well-knit arched toes, body of good size for age level topline with correct rear angulation, tail carried of the topline and used to perfection on the move. 2nd Kevan Ms E, Moloko Wallace the Brave: - 9 Mth old Golden Retriever boy in a lovely gold colour, this puppy was overall stunning and unfortunate it came up against number 1, very balanced youngster giving a powerful presence in the line-up, lovely balanced head with plenty of work, good length of neck, forelegs straight with excellent bone lovely cat like feet, level topline balanced in body with short couplings, correct rear angulation, tail carried straight of the topline used well on the move, strongly made youngster, one to watch as he gets older.  Reserve Best Puppy in Show
