Pollard Canine Society Premier Open Show Sunday 19th May 2019

Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this very well run outside show. The weather held out and the dogs enjoyed the large rings. All the dogs were presented in clean condition, I was pleased with the general condition of the dogs.

German Shorthaired Pointers

Junior Dog/Bitch (5 Entries, 0 Abs)

1st Barker Mrs J & Mr C, Valger Rapunzel 8 mth old solid liver bitch, good head with correct eye and ears, sloping neck into correct shoulders lovely topline, good rear angulation, good bone overall, correct body for age, moved smoothly around the ring with correct tail carriage. Best Puppy in Breed

2nd Sielski Mrs Z M, Orchidstar Okey Dokey, 9 mth old liver & white bitch feminine head with correct eye, strong neck into correctly placed shoulders, good topline, well developed youngster, good rear end moved well around the ring.

2nd Elrington Ms D, Barleyarch Dorito, Liver & white bitch lovely expression with correct ears and eyes, clean neck into correct shoulders, well developed body, good turn of stifle, moved steady.

2nd Beresford Miss A J, Tuptonsett Maximillion, Liver & White nearly 3 year old dog, good head with correct ears & eyes, good reach of neck, correct shoulders, well developed body with ample bone, moved well holding topline on the move.

1st Hardcastle, Green & Bradley. Vizslanya Sziena by Viszaset, 15mth bitch of good size, feminine head of correct proportions, correct shoulders well bodied for age, good turn of stifle, still to muscle up, correct feet, moved well with owner.

2nd Watson Mr & Mrs J, Boweslyon Thanksgiving, 3 year old bitch a little on the heavy side today, pleasing head and correct shoulders, good depth of chest, good bone correct feet moved well around the ring.

2nd James Miss A S Tsarmont Lakeside Star, litter sister of junior winner, of similar type and size, feminine head, strong neck into correct shoulders, correct body with lovely rear quarters, correct tail set on the move, gave her handler a hard time.

Largymore Lilygroves of Brekswood, 7 year old mid gold bitch who does not show her age lo0vely head with melting expression, strong neck into correct shoulders good front with correct feet, body of good size and shape, level topline strong rear end, tail carried well on the move.
