Norfolk & Norwich Canine Society

Norfolk & Norwich Canine Society 21st April 2019 Thank you to the hard working committee for the invitation to judge at this show. Super venue with loads of space for exhibitors with good size rings. Although would have been nice to have a bigger ring in the 3 stakes classes with only a few absent. Lancashire Heelers Post Graduate 2-1 1st Merrill & Whybrow's: Bellsmond Dakota; Balanced young male, masculine broad head with dark almond shaped eyes, wasn't keen to use his ears today, muscular neck going into well placed shoulders, ribs well sprung with good depth of chest, legs strong with well padded feet. Firm back & good rear angulation, which was well muscled, parallel front & rear. Moved out well, but in challenge he just wasn't co operative on move. RBOB Open 1 1st Thompson's: Ch Ganseblume Enchantress JW ShCM; fabulous bitch, very feminine head, lovely dark almond shaped eyes & large ears held erect. Muscular neck on shoulders well laid back, chest reaching elbow & good forechest, ribs well sprung & firm top line with good rear angulations & ample bone for her size. Parallel going away & back. Loved her confident out going attitude. In challenge just glided around ring. BOB Three very strong stakes classes, both in quality & size of classes, which meant that even short listing some lovely dogs left the ring. Because in my opinion the quality was such I have given 1-5 placings as any of them could have swapped places & it was just minor things l liked about one dog over another. AV Marsham Saddlery & Country Clothing Puppy Stakes 33-3 1st Wall's: Mulan Dei Due Leoni ( Imp Ita), Jack Russell Terrier; just 11 months, very confident puppy, loved her as she entered ring, balanced on the stand & moving was just so true both going away & back, harsh coat & well presented. 2nd Sladden's: Tyrbechgyn Believe You Will At Canemamans, Bracco Italiano; 10 months, masculine & good for breed type. Head developing well, good forequarters & hindquarters to match, lovely in profile & on move covered the ring with ease. Just needs time to grow into himself. 3rd Rutterford's: Kelgrove Midsummer Blue At Stormhead, Shetland Sheepdog; just right size & very balanced, steady on move & presented in lovely coat. 4th Baldwin's: Woolytop The Pipers Son, Bedlington Terrier 5th Hudson's: Mellowdee Tickled Pink At Halfnhalf, OES; AV Special Yearling Stakes 29-10 1st Pullen, Rutland & Porter's: Honky Tonk Blues For Meadowbears, OES; 19 month old, in fabulous coat that was beautifully presented, nothing over exaggerated, giving that lovely square looking shape. Moved with drive. 2nd Hayes: Ragus Seven Jumps, Norwich Terrier; really smart little bitch, lovely head & front, strong body, well muscled rear. Beautiful harsh coat. Positive on move. 3rd Bougen's: Gwendariff Hot Ticket JW, Irish Setter; Balanced dog, with lovely rich colouring. 4th Bird's: Blandings Eyes On The a Prize, Whippet; 5th Thorpe's: Fanmatrix Roll Tiger Roll, Pointer; AV Marsham Saddlery & Country Clothing Open Stakes 26-7 1st Offer's: Woolytop The Wherryman ShCM, Bedlington Terrier; fell in love with this little dog.
