Irish Terriers 

I would like to thank the officers and committee of Gloucester & District canine society for the invitation to judge at their recent Open Show, also my ring stewards on the day for all of their help and assistance. I am very pleased with all exhibitors for such a good entry for the breed as well as the attendance and high quality of all the dogs entered.                                                                           P (4), 1.Bamsey's, Holbam celtic wizard, 9mth old male very mature and settled, nice type with lovely head and typical Irish expression, Level top line with correct tail set. Plenty behind with good angulation. Coat in great condition with very pleasing movement. BPIB                                                                                                                                                                                                              2. Nevill's, Norakim an storr at Rosemonelle, another 9mth old male although not quite as mature as (1). Pleasing head and eye, good ear set, neck length and shoulder. Lovely topline and tail set, coat in good condition and moved well when settled.                       J (6), 1.Inker & Isaac's, Thatcher Michelin. 16mth old male, lovely long narrow head with flat skull, nice set ears and expression, moderate length of back with good tail set. Lovely coat and well presented, a very promising dog when muscles come with maturity.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           2. Nevill's, Norakim an storr at Rosemonelle                                                                                                                                                             PG (3) 1.Cooke's, Montelle look of gold, 15mth old male, nice length of head with flat skull and great expression, nice balance and size in proportion to height with a strong loin and plenty behind. Correct coat and well presented, moved ok when settled, another very promising dog with maturity.                                                                                                                                                                                2. Karau's, Balirolyat molly's a diva, 2 1/2 yr old bitch, a lot more mature and settled than (1), although very short in coat. Nice length in both head and neck, correct bite and a lovely feminine expression, ear set a little high, lovely topline and tailset with plenty behind, movement ok.                                                                                                                                                                                                               O (7), 1.Thomas's, CH Lead the way to Montelle, At just 22mths this is a well balanced dog of correct proportion, a super length of head with typical terrier expression, well laid back neck and shoulder, strong well angulated hindquarters with plenty of muscle. Nice harsh coat very well presented with beautiful movement. BOB                                                                                                                 2. Nevill's, Rosemonelle Isabella, 8yr old bitch with nice head and lovely feminine expression, moderate length of neck and back with correct tailset. Beautiful movement although a little too heavy in coat.
