ENGLISH SETTER

Junior (3,2abs)1st Snook’s Dalreavoch Northern Caper. Young male with a lovely balanced head and soft expression. Strong neck, clean shoulders and short, level back. His movement was a little erratic as he still needs to tighten up all through.                                   Graduate(4,3 abs) 1st Paton’s Bournehouse Secret Affair for Meadowfoot. Lovely head and melting expression on this bitch. Well defined stop and long,low set ears. Quality bone with good balance to front and rear angulation. Stands on very neat feet. Moved on a free and easy stride.                                                                                                                                                                                    Open(3,1 abs) 1st Lawton’s Wandsfell Call The Shots at Oaklaw. This dog presents a balanced and elegant outline both stacked and on the move. Loved his head and gentle expression. Clean neck and shoulders. Good depth and well sprung ribs. Wide quarters with good bend of stifle. Moved easily with precision and a lashing tail BOB 2nd Colton’s Soladitas High Havoc over Ennydloc. Upstanding dog who is taller and rangier than winner. Balanced front and rear assemblies. Soft, expressive eyes, although I would just prefer a more oval skull. Loved how he displayed his friendly and good natured temperament the whole time BV and BVIS 

IRISH RED AND WHITE SETTER

Junior – no entries                                                                                                                                                                                    Graduate(1) 1st Whitaker’s Oldstone Caught In The Act. This 2 year old dog has the required athletic appearance. Balanced head planes with round dark eye.Well muscled neck. Strong in body with good muscle tone. A little untidy on the move.                   Open(2,1 abs) Tait’s Sh Ch Lovenjoel Sleeping Beauty. This lovely bitch has excellent breed type. Beautiful head and expression with correct ear placement. Balanced throughout with good depth and big ribs.Has strength and substance whilst still retaining her femininity. She moved effortlessly on a free stride with precise footfall. Shown in excellent coat and condition BOB

ITALIAN SPINONE

Junior(1) 1st Gill’s Testaverde Enrico Caruso del Jocagil. Pleasing puppy of just 6 months. Correct head planes displaying a gentle expression. Well angulated fore and aft. Presents a square and balanced outline with correct topline. Good texture to his coat. Typical puppy movement BP                                                                                                                                                                    Graduate(1) 1st Thompson’s Testaverde Back For Good. Square in outline with good bone and substance. Strong neck, deep chest, pronounced sternum. Good balance to front and rear. Carries a coat of good texture.                                                                        Open(1) 1st Gill’s Ch Teazledown Moonwalker at Jocagil JW ShCM. This dog is a lovely example of the breed. Masculine head with divergent planes and expressive eyes. Powerful neck set cleanly into shoulders. Stands square with good depth and balance. Strong body with ribs well sprung and carried well back. Wide, well muscled quarters . Dense harsh coat. Covered the ground well maintaining his correct topline BOB and RBIS

BRACCO ITALIANO

Junior(1) 1st Sanderson’s Owlspoint Trouble Again. 11 month old male with good breed type. Correct head with dark oval eyes giving a soft expression. Short strong neck set into well laid shoulders. Well ribbed body of good proportions with balanced angulation. Chest deep and broad, slight tuck up. Covered the ground well with his true and sound movement BP and BPIS Graduate- no entries                                                                                                                                                                                         Open(5) 1st Sanderson’s Owlspoint Trouble At Mill ShCM BWNL ’18. Loved this dogs head. Long and lean with divergent head planes and slight stop. Almost square body with quality oval bone. Deep chest, well sprung ribs and correct topline. Long well muscled thighs enabled him to power round the ring on an effortless stride BOB 2nd Adamo’s Zakro Angelina (AI) Noble in appearance with good body properties. Her head is typical of the breed with such a lovely gentle expression. Stands on strong, well arched feet. She is certainly ‘fit for function’ and this showed in her free flowing movement BV and BVIS4 3rd Adamo’s Zakro Vito

SPANISH WATER DOG

Open(3,1abs) 1st Hodgkinson-Rutherford and Rutherford’s Chanderhill Bit Of A Pickle. This 10 month old bitch has all the essentials. Lovely head with correct parallel planes. Short strong neck and good front assembly. Well ribbed body and level back. Well developed hindquarters. Has the desired correct coat and ringlets. Accurate footfall with a brisk driving action BP and BOB 2nd Hodgkinson-Rutherford and Rutherford’s Rayaragua Ria Del Chanderhill (IMP ESP). A well constructed bitch with balanced body proportions. Coat not as good as winner. Moved well with purpose. Her young handler worked hard to get the best from her charge and never stopped smiling.
