LABRADOR RETRIEVERS

PUPPY (3 entries, 0 absentees)

1st - Lennox & Morgan’s Wilenmory Emporio Diamond; 11 month old yellow bitch with the prettiest of heads. Well boned, good depth of body and stands on tight neat feet. Correct front angulation and powerful rear assembly with plenty of second thigh. In good coat, moved ok. BPIB

2nd - Maclean’s Afinmore Ankara; 6 month old black bitch. Different type to 1st, athletically built, correct angulation front and rear, level topline and well set tail. Good double coat of correct texture. I am sure with maturity will do well. Good mover and covered the ground well

3rd - Maclean’s Afinmore Amsterdam

GRADUATE (3 entries, 0 absentees)

1st - Parker’s Newhorizon Sing It Again At Bruadarach; 21 month old black bitch. Presents a lovely clean outline, correct angulation front and rear, level topline and short coupled. Lovely head and shown in good coat and condition. Low hocks which enabled her to power around the ring with drive. BOB and I was pleased that she went on to be awarded G4

2nd - Mullett’s Shaymiloney Schinus Afinmore; well developed 3 year old black dog. Correct front angulation, level topline leading to a well set otter tail. Good bone and neat feet. Would prefer a better head. Moved ok

3rd - Lennox & Morgan’s Wilenmory Diamond Dreams

1st - Maclean’s Afinmore Amiable; 21 month old chocolate bitch. Not the biggest yet still powerful and well made. Correct front angulation and well developed rear. Level topline, neat feet. Shown in good coat and condition. Moved best in class

2nd - Parker’s Sh Ch Poniel Reason To Believe At Bruadarach ShCM; black dog, 6 years old. Plenty of bone and substance throughout, lovely head. Correct front a rear angulation, level topline leading to a correctly set tail. Moved well

COCKER SPANIELS

PUPPY (1 entry, 0 absentees)

1st - Davies’ Annaside Moon River; compact, well built 8 month old blue roan dog. Lovely head with gentle expression. Correct front and rear angulation with good depth of body and length/height ratio. Moved well. BPIB

GRADUATE (4 entries, 1 absentee)

1st - Davies’ Annaside Rose Moon; lovely compact blue roan bitch, 3 years old. Pleasing head, correct eye shape and colour with a melting expression. Well made throughout and so balanced. Muscular neck set on a correctly angulated front. Well developed rear quarters, good turn of stifle and low hocks. Matches in length and height, well boned and stands on neat tight feet. Shown in tip-top condition and with a fabulous coat - I was surprised to learn that she is the mother of the puppy winner - she is certainly back on form! Moved the best in class with power and drive. BOB and I was thrilled that she went on to be awarded G1 and RBIS under different judges

2nd - Thomson’s Colenda Crackin Idea; 3 year old blue roan bitch. Correct angulations front and rear, muscular neck and rear quarters, well boned. Correctly set tail carried well on the move. Preferred head of 1st. Moved well

3rd - Thomson’s Colenda Chasing Shadows

OPEN (2 entries, 1 absentee)

1st - Thomson’s Colenda Chooseday; 5 year old black and white bitch. Full-sister to 2nd in Graduate and the same comments apply regarding construction. Impressive coat with correct silky texture. Although a tad excited she moved well
