PEMBROKESHIRE CANINE SOCIETY – Members Limited Show Held on: Saturday 23rd November 2019

Judge: Mr Russell F. Jones (Quemerford)

It was great to be asked to Judge at this Members Limited Show which was held in a good-sized venue with excellent size rings. Unfortunately it rained all day which accounted for some absentees. All exhibits were shown in good clean condition and were well presented. I had two excellent stewards that kept ring moving through-out the day. So many thanks to the committee for the invitation and the hospitality through-out the day.

AV MINOR PD (2,0), 1 Mr. M. Bristow, Nevedith Cape Province: Whippet. A 6mth old dark brindle dog, well grown for age. He is a nice type and has a nice out-line. Moved well and is very pleasing to the eye. 2 Mrs. V. Colquhoun, Cathmick Blue It Is: Whippet. A 7mth old blue dog small that 1st. He is a pleasing type, but just a little unsteady on the move today.

AV MINOR PB (4,2), 1 Miss. S. Brown, Swnynant Guiliana: GSD. Bitch just 6mths of age and well grown for age. She has a very nice out-line and a nice type. Feminine head and good colouring. Good angles throughout. Should have a bright future. Went on to win BOB and BP in breed. 2 Mr. S. & Mrs J. Attwood, Isobel Of Riduna Rock: Poodle (Standard). Another that was just 6mths of age. This black girl just needed to settle, all so new to her. She is very pleasing overall and of a good type.

AV PUPPY B (3,1) 1 Mrs. E.G. Lewis, Gellijams To Russia With Luv Truxhund: Dachshund (Min. Sm. Hair). A 10mth old very classy coloured rich mahogany bitch of good type with a nice out-line. She was superb on the move and showed her socks off today. Well done. 2 Mr. Busby, Bridget The Fidget: Bulldog. A bitch that was 12 mths old on the day. She was of a very pleasing type that I was pleased award BOB later in the day. Pity she met the 1st in this class, was not as free on the move at that time.

AV JUNIOR D/B (4,1) 1 Mesdames’ R.A. & R. Webb and Danks-Kemish, Alolfrana Azzaro Beside Redeshka: Irish Setter. Just out of puppy this dog is very smart and of a nice type with a nice out-line. He was well shown and moved around the ring with purpose, won this class with ease. 2 Mrs. J. Etherington, Kenaiteen Tickled Pink: Griffon Bruxellois. A 15mth old bitch that is of a nice type with a nice out-line. Moved out well around the ring. 3 Ms. E.M. Davies, Trinant Celtic Cariad: Spaniel (Cocker). I was disappointed with the movement on this 14mth old bitch. Also felt that her teeth needed cleaning.

AV Non-Sporting Veteran D/B (4,1) 1 Mr. M. & Mrs. V. Prevett, Cloverbud Shining Moment Of Raileve, Sh.CM: Min. Schnauzer. A 7yr old bitch that looked very smart, moved around the ring with verve. Well deserved the class and later won Best Vet. In Show. 2 Mrs. J. Price, Starvon Xpress Delivery At Coningsbear, Sh.CM: Swedish Vallhund. A 7yr old dog with a pleasing out-line and type. He moved out well and is good for his age. 3 Mr. D. Phillips, Marquant Solo: Griffon Bruxellois. An 8yr old dog, that moved out well for the handler and looked very neat.

AV Sporting Veteran D/B (2,0) 1 Dr. J. & Mrs. A. O’Connor, Silflay Sweet Georgia Brown: Dachshund (Min. Long Hair). An 8yr old bitch that is very classy, she has a good out-line and is of a good type. Moved out nicely around the ring. 2 Mrs. J. & Mrs S. Douglas & Banks, Ceibwr Rainbow Promise At Torabbi: Retriever (Golden). A 9yr old dog that was enjoying his day out. Pity the handler just could not get the best out of him today.

AV Vintage D/B (3,1) 1 Mrs. R. Stevenson-Reynolds, Keagwyn Snow Daisy: Japanese Spitz. A 10yr old bitch that way shown in good condition. Enjoyed her day out and moved nicely around the ring. 2 Mr. D. Phillips, Marquant Best Boy: Griffon Bruxellois. A 10yr old dog, that was just pipped by 1st today. Does not show his age.

JAPANESE SHIBA INU O D/B (1,0), 1 Ms H.M. Bartlett, American Miracle Zen @ Gustafski JCAB.: A 17mths old dog that stood alone. He is of a very pleasing type with a nice out-line. Looked very smart and moved well using the whole of the ring.

BULLDOG O D/B (3,2), 1 Mr. Busby, Bridget The Fidget: Bulldog. As above.

BOSTON TERRIER P/G D/B (2,0), 1 Mrs. M. Bundy, Kenzie Murray: A 3yr old bitch that is very classy of a nice type with a nice out-line. Moved very well. Pleased to award her BOB. 2 W.J. & A. Connor, Buddy’s Living Legend Of Ringablok: A 2yr old dog that is very neat and of a good type. Pity he came up against 1st today.

O D/B (2,0), 1 Mrs. M. Bundy, Mary Queen Of Scots: A 5yr old bitch that just had the edge to take 1st place. Neat and of a nice type. 2 W.J. & A. Connor, Ringablok Pearly Princess: A 3yr old bitch that is not long from whelping. Although she is still not back into shape, she is a nice type.

MINIATURE SCHNAUZER P/G D/B (3,1), 1 Mr. M. & Mrs. V. Prevett, Raileve Calamity Jane: A 2yr old bitch that is of good type with a good out-line. She is very neat and moved well. 2 Mr. S. Fellows, Black Pearl Of The Haven: A bitch that is just over 1yr of age, lacked maturity in this class, pity as she is a pleasing type.

O D/B (1,0), 1 Mr. M. & Mrs. V. Prevett, Cloverbud Queen Of Genovia At Raileve: A 5yr old bitch of good type with a nice out-line that really showed her sock off, stormed around the ring. Pleased to award her BOB and later she pulled out all stops to get Res. BIS, well done.

JAPANESE SPITZ O D/B (3,1), 1 Mrs. R. Stevenson-Reynolds, Keagwyn Teddy Boy: A 2.6yr old dog shown in good coat. He is very neat and is of a nice type with a good out-line. He moved well and I was pleased to award him BOB.

TOY POODLE O D/B (1,0), 1 Ms. H.M. Bartlett, Kazariastars Dream Girl @ Gustafski: A 7mth old white bitch that just needs time to settle. Hope to see her in the future. Awarded her BP & BOB.

STANDARD POODLE O D/B (1,0), 1 Mr. S. & Mrs. J. Attwood, Isobel Of Riduna Rock: Bitch. As Before.

FRENCH BULLDOG O D/B (2,0), 1 W.J. & A. Connor, Penymorfa Surabaya Sun Of Ringablok: A 3yr old bitch with loads of character and she is of a good type with a good out-line. She showed herself well and moved out well. Pleased to award her BOB. 2 W.J. & A. Connor, Ringablok Daisybelle: A 6mth old bitch that was holding her own in the ring. She has a very nice out-line and is of a nice type. Pleased to award her BP.

AVNSC UTILITY P D/B (1,0), 1 Mrs. K. Walsh, Arrowflight Star Struck At Bielcee: Poodle (Min.). A black dog just under 12mths of age that stood alone. What a picture. He is of a lovely type with a good out-line. Strong masculine head and good front, neat body and good rear end. Making for a very smart looking dog that didn’t disappoint on the move. Striding out around the ring with that typical gait. He showed himself off all day so I was pleased to award him BOB, BIS and BPIS. Many Congratulations.

O D/B (1,0), 1 Mrs. K. Walsh, Bielcee Cristal: Poodle (Min.). A 2yr old black bitch from the same stable as BIS. A very smart bitch of good type and shape that moved very well.

BORDER COLLIE O D/B (2,0), 1 Miss. H. Warren, Meisterwerk Skomer: A pleasing 15mth old black & White dog of a nice type with a nice out-line. Moved out well around the ring. Pleased to award him BOB. 2 Dr. & Mrs. J. & A. O’Connor, Apwillow Move Over Madam: A 2yr old black and white bitch that did not give it her all today, but she was pleasing enough.

SHETLAND SHEEPDOG O D/B (2,1), 1 Mrs. S. Jones, Gowdenin Tristar Seranade: A 3yr old Tri coloured bitch that is of a pleasing type with a nice out-line. She has a nice feminine head and was shown in plenty of coat. Moved out well. I was pleased to award her BOB.

GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG O D/B (2,0Abs), 1 Miss. S. Brown, Swnynant Guiliana: GSD. As Before. BOB and BP. 2 Mrs. D.A. Wardle, Our Shining Star At Alrewas: A well grown 2yr old dog that is of a pleasing type with a nice out-line. Pity he came up against 1st. handled himself well.

AVNSC PASTORAL O D/B (1,0), 1 Mrs. J. Price, Starvon Xpress Delivery At Coningsbear, Sh.CM: Swedish Vallhund. Dog. As Before.

SIBERIAN HUSKY PG D/B (2,0), 1 Mr. H. & Mrs. B.A. Morris, Cwnhapus Innoko: Dog that is just over 1yr of age. He is of excellent type with a good out-line, really catches the eye, and so well balanced for his age. Moved out well around the ring. Pleased to award him BOB. 2 Mrs. A, Stimpson, Cwnhapus Takhini: Litter brother to 1st and a little bigger in height. Not quite as nimble as 1st but many similar features.

O D/B (1,0Abs), 1 Mr. H. & Mrs. B.A. Morris, Cymru Dream Bris Gyda Cwnhapus, Sh.CM.: A 3yr old dog that is well matured for his age. He has good proportions and is of a good type with a good out-line. Lots to like about him, but he could not out move the youngster on the day.

AVNSC WORKING PG D/B (1,0), 1 Mr. G. & Mrs. B.L. Williams, Tinland Pink Sapphire: Bernese M.D. A well grown 19mth old bitch that is of a pleasing type with a nice out-line. She is well balanced for her age and moved well around the ring. Pleased to award her Best AVNSC.

CHIHUAHUA (LONG COATED) O D/B (2,0), 1 Mrs. V. Colquhoun, Donami Oliver Button: A 22mth old dog that has a nice out-line and is of a nice type. Moved well. Pleased to award him BOB. 2 Mrs. J. & Mrs. S. Douglas & Banks, Canuchi Dream Topping Over Torabbbi: A pleasing 2yr old dog that was having a day out. Movement let him down today.

AV IMPORT REGISTER Non-Sporting O D/B (3,1), 1 Ms. H.M. Bartlett, Just Angel Dalia @ Gustafski: (Long Coat Imp. Latvia.), Russian Toy. A 16mth old bitch that is well grown with nice ears and a neat out-line. Moves well. Pleased to award her Best Imp. Reg. 2 Ms. H.M. Bartlett, Mechta Yuvelira Palermo @ Gustafski: (Long Coat Imp. Russ.), Russian Toy. A 22mth old dog that is a little leggier than 1st and not quite the movement of the 1st.

Prevett, Cloverbud Shining Moment Of Raileve, Sh.CM: Min. Schnauzer. As Before.
