My thanks to the offices and committee for the invitation to judge at their show and for all of their hospitality on the day. Also a big thank you to my ring stewards who helped to keep things running smoothly all day and a big thank you to all the exhibitors for entering their dogs. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day with you all.

Border Collie:

1st Mrs C. McCracken’s Tonkory On Top Of The World With Cimmiekris ShCM.

Handsome dog well proportioned throughout his outline. Correct in his head with good width of skull tapering nicely to his muzzle. Dark oval eyes set nicely apart giving an alert expression and medium sized ears. Well laid back shoulders to his front, slightly sloping pasterns and arched toes to his oval shaped feet with excellent pads. Good spring of rib to his deep chest and a muscular deep loin. Well made rear with good length of thighs and well turned stifles. Presented in excellent coat he moved freely around the ring. B.O.B.

Bearded Collie:

Well balanced dog presented in excellent coat. Pleasing head of correct proportions with eyes set nicely apart and good pigmentation. Strong arched neck down to his well laid back shoulders. Good depth of chest to his long body and ribbed well back. Muscular rear with stifles well bent and strong hocks. He moved smoothly around the ring with long reach to his strides. Balanced dog of correct proportions correct in his head with well made front and rear with good angulation. Presented in superb coat and muscle he moved well around the ring.

Handsome dog well balanced throughout his outline. Masculine head with a kind expression carried by his neck of ample length and leading down to his well laid shoulders. Good deep chest with well sprung ribs with correct ratio of loin. His rear is muscular and compliments his front angulation perfectly. Nice oval feet with good pads and arched toes. He moved well around the ring.

2nd Miss A Carter’s Dychix Queen Of Hearts For Devonsky.

Pleasing bitch presented in good coat and of correct proportions. Correct in her head with an affectionate expression from her large eyes. Well made front and rear with good length of back. She moved with purpose around the ring.

Muscular front with good length of legs and shoulders all neatly attached to her deep chest with moderately sprung ribs. Muscular rear with complimenting angulation and strong hocks. Well made dog of typical proportions. Correct in his head and eyes carried well by his supple long neck. Good front with strong bone and a complimenting powerful rear which enabled him to move well with a free and easy action.

Impressive well made handsome dog of typical proportions. Correct head with skull and muzzle of equal length with nice chiselling under his dark eyes. Good triangular shaped erect ears set high on his skull. Muscular long neck carrying his head well when moving. Well made front with strong pasterns, muscular neatly fitting shoulders of good length. His body is equal in length to his height and has a deep chest leading to his sloping broad rump. Well muscled rear with moderate angulation and a correct tail set. He moved easily around the ring with a brisk easy action. B.O.B. and 2nd in the group.

2nd Mrs N & Mr G Snell’s CH SP CH Hawksflight Made You Smile ShCM.

Quality bitch correct in so many ways and well balanced. Presented in excellent muscle she has a good head and well made front. Correct body proportions and muscular rear I just preferred the movement of my winner.

Her head is well made with a flat skull, well set ears and nice dark eyes giving an intelligent expression all carried on her neck of ample length with slight arch. Plenty of bone to her front with good lay back of shoulders. Well ribbed up in her body with good depth of chest and a muscular short loin. Powerful rear with well bent stifles, strong hocks and parallel straight legs. Long tail carried well over her back. She moved easily around the ring with great power in her action. Another beautifully balanced bitch again presented in excellent coat and muscle. Well made throughout her frame she has a correct head, muscular front with good lay of shoulders and a powerful well angulated rear all fitting neatly on her body. Moved well.

Nice almond shaped dark eye giving good expression and set well on his head. Well laid back shoulders with good return of upper arm set neatly around his deep chest. Muscular rear with good broad thighs and nice oval feet with well arched toes. He moved gracefully around the ring.

Neatly made tri colour bitch of correct proportions throughout. Well made in her head with a good front and rear assembly all set well around her body with a level back line. Moved well.

Handsome dog of correct proportions. Refined head with flat skull, correct almond shaped eyes, nicely filled foreface and good under jaw. Well set ears used nicely when alert and he carried his head well arched neck of good length. Well made in his front with straight legs and well laid back shoulders. His body is deep with well sprung ribs and a level top line. Good rear angulation with excellent muscle and well let down hocks. He was presented in good coat and he moved gracefully with good drive from his rear. B.O.B.

Muscular rear with good angulation and nice bone. She moved very gracefully around the ring.

Nice oval bone to his front with muscular shoulders set well on his body and firm elbows. Deep in his chest of nice width and good length of brisket with a nice firm, level back and a muscular broad loins. Powerful rear with angles matching front, equal length of upper and lower thighs and good strong hocks. He moved soundly around the ring simultaneously moving opposite legs and keeping a level back. Absolutely stunning brindle dog who is just so typical of his breed I loved everything about him. Masculine in his head of correct ratio with a slight dome to his skull, correct slightly rounded well set ears that folded neatly backwards. Well set round eyes with colour blending well with his coat all carried well by his muscular neck of good length. Typical front with ample bone, well laid back shoulders and his forelegs bowed around his deep chest and oval well padded feet with arched toes. His body is sufficiently broad with good depth and well sprung ribs and a level top line. Muscular rear quarters with well bent stifles and strong hocks. All of his excellent conformation shone through when he moved keeping his elbows close as he reached well in front and propelling himself forward with excellent drive. B.O.B. and very pleased to later award him 1st in the group.

Beautifully balanced brindle bitch again typical of her breed. Loved her head of correct proportions with those typical ears and beautiful expression from her medium sized well set eyes. Well made front with good bone, prominent fore chest and forearms neatly fitting around. Her body is deep in her chest, of good length and a level top line. Well made hind quarters with plenty of muscle and stifles well angulated. She moved well around the ring with a free and active striding action.

Handsome dog of nearly 12 years of age but very much still in his prime today. Presented in a well maintained corded coat and in superb muscular condition. Finely boned throughout his square frame he has a masculine head with nice dark eyes giving an alert expression. Good strong neck flowing nicely down to his straight front with well laid back shoulders and nice tight elbows. Good depth to his chest of ample width and a nice short rump that slopes away slightly with his tailed curled nicely over it. Well bent stifles to his rear and nice tight, short round feet. On the move he used his excellent conformation well with a good short step to his strides.
