My thanks to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at their show and for all of their hospitality. I had a thoroughly enjoyable days judging at this well run show and my thanks to all of the exhibitors who entered the show and put so much effort into presenting their Poodles on the day. A big thank you to my ring stewards who kept things running smoothly all day long and made my judging run smoothly.

A very playful black lad of just 6 months full quality and enthusiasm who when he settled down showed good reach in front and drive from behind. Loved his head which is in proportion to his size with a dark almond shaped eye and carried proudly on his long neck. Well made in his front and with complimenting rear assembly all with excellent muscle and nice tight oval feet. Presented in good harsh coat he was such a little showman on the day and was expertly handled. I am sure he has a very promising future in front of him. Best puppy dog, best toy puppy and pleased to award him best puppy in show.

Well balanced black presented in good coat. Typical head with good chin, moderate stop and nice chiselling to sides. Almond shaped dark eye giving that wicked expression. Well laid back shoulders to his straight front and good depth to his well sprung rib cage. Muscular rear with good bend of stifle and strong hocks. He moved effortlessly around the ring covering the ground well. Reserve best dog.

Litter brother to winner of novice class and again typical in many ways he just was just more together in his movement on the day. Good length to his fine head and in proportion to his size with dark almond shaped eyes. Correct front with good lay of shoulder and balancing return of upper arm. Deep in his chest with a short back and a strong well muscled loin. Well bent stifles to his rear that complimented his front and enabled him to drive well around the ring. Presented in a good harsh dense coat. Pleased to award him best dog and best of breed.

Well balanced bitch of correct size. Feminine in her head with good chin, low set ears and almond shaped dark eyes. Straight front with well laid shoulders nice tight feet and good depth of chest. Well made rear with high set tail carried up when moving and good bend of stifles complimenting her front. She moved well around the ring and was presented in a dense harsh coat. Best puppy bitch and reserve best bitch.

Muscular rear with angulation complimenting her front and well let down hocks. She moved easily around the ring. Best bitch and reserve best of breed.

Very pleasing blue youngster who was just such an extrovert on the day giving the handler a run for his money. Well balanced throughout I loved his head of correct length with a moderate stop between his dark almond shaped eyes and low set ears of good length to its sides, carried proudly by his long neck. Straight front with well laid back shoulders and matching return of upper arm. Well sprung ribs to his deep body of sufficient width. Muscular rear with stifles well bent and strong hocks. He was presented in excellent coat and when he settled he moved soundly around the ring with good reach in front and drive from behind. Best puppy dog and best puppy in breed.

Well balanced black boy of correct proportions. Handsome head with good chin and dark almond shaped eyes giving good expression. Well made in his front and rear assembly with excellent muscle he was presented in good coat and moved well around the ring.

Impressive well balanced black dog presented in excellent coat and trimmed to perfection. Masculine in his long and fine head with good chin and nice chiselling to sides. Dark almond shaped eyes giving that wicked expression and low set ears of good length. Strong neck of good length to carry his head well. Correct front with well laid back shoulders and well muscled. Good spring of rib to his deep chest of moderate width. Well made rear quarters with well developed thighs and good bend of stifles. On the move all of his excellent conformation shone through as he covered the ground well with a sound and free action carrying his tail up. Best dog and reserve best of breed.

Silver dog more refined throughout his frame than winner but full of quality. Correct in his head and eye with good dark pigmentation to his eye rims and nose. Well made in his straight front and balancing bend of stifles to his rear he moved effortlessly around the ring. Presented in good harsh coat and well handled.

My star of the day I loved this beautiful, elegant black bitch from head to toe she was presented in a dense harsh coat and trimmed to perfection. Long fine head with moderate stop, good chin and beautiful chieseling to sides. Dark almond shape to her bright expressive eyes and good length to her low set ears. Good length of neck down to her excellent front with well laid back shoulders and legs parallel underneath her deep chest with good spring of rib. Muscular broad loin and a correct high set tail which she carried up when moving. Her rear is powerful with well developed muscular thighs, well bent stifles and well let down hocks. All of her excellent conformation shone through when she moved as she covered the ground well with excellent reach in front a great drive from behind. I am sure she has a very promising career in front of her and I was pleased to award her best bitch, best of breed and later best in show.
