1st Longleys Attomic Mirror Man

Rising a year and all male without being overdone. Pleasing head and expression, good stop and well placed ears. Straight front with deep chest and developed forechest, short back and correct topline. Strongly made quarters and a short from hock to heel. Moved with drive and good side gait. Res BOB and Best Puppy.

2nd Burford’s Sleipnir Ostarah

11 month bitch of pleasing make and shape. Feminine head and expression, would like a shade tighter eye. Good neck and well placed shoulders. Chest deep and ribbed back, topline still needs to firm up, good finish to croup. Well bent stifles and good muscular development moved out well.

Wheelers Hipkins Devious Maid

Pleasing head and expression, good stop and finish to foreface. Would prefer a slightly tighter eye. Strongly built throughout with good neck and shoulders, developed forechest and straight front. Firm in topline, well ribbed back and strong loin. Good muscular development which showed in her movement. Just needs to settle in front action on the move. Best of Breed.

Pearns Bonmac Jackanory

Dark brindle bitch with a lovely head and expression. Well made throughout and at the correct stage of development for her age. Good angles and stands on super legs and feet. Needs to strengthen in topline and settle on the move.

Wheelers Clarricks Bailey Ray at Hipkins ShCM

Pleasing in outline and standing over good ground. Head a little heavy for my personal taste. Keen expression and good stop. Strong through the neck and plenty of depth to forechest. Firm in topline and well set tail. Good quarters and moved with drive, holding her topline.

1st Caffel & Kavanagh’s Doberway Repeat After Me

Upstanding bit of good quality, make and shape. Feminine throughout with a keen expression and good finish to foreface. Clean and strong in neck with well placed shoulders. Firm in topline and good finish to croup. Good quarters and muscular development, open side gait covering the ground well. Best of Breed.

2nd Massey’s Jojavik Kissy Suzuki ShCM

Feminine and well balanced throughout, would like a little more of her if being critical. Lovely and eye, well proportioned with well set ears. Balanced angles throughout and well proportioned body. Gleaming condition and moved with a good side gait.

1st Lefebvre-King’s Buttonlove a New Hope

7 month old with a feminine and well proportioned head and expression. Strong through the neck and required front angulation at this age. Stands on good legs and feet. Body developing well, chest still needing to drop, which will come with age. Quarters developing well. Sound and precise in action for her age, covering thr ground and true on the out and back. Best of Breed and Best Puppy.

1st Franklin’s Nageem Haribo at Haccasbrook ShCM

Upstanding male, masculine and full of power. Head strong and well proportioned, eyes a little round and good depth to muzzle. Well placed ears. Strong through the neck and well placed shoulders. Well ribbed back, shade long in loin. Super muscular development of quarters with good bend to stifles. True on the out and back and covered the ground well. RBOB

2nd Lefebvre-King’s Buttonlove Rumours of Pearl.

Lovely head and expression, which was well proportioned. Strong neck and good lay of shoulder, would like a little more return of forearm. Good depth to forechest and well ribbed, longer cast with good finish to croup. Would like her a little tidier on the out and back.

Bryant and Hollis’ Silvamoon Storm Trooper For Phenset Eng Setter

Tri Colour of pleasing make and shape. Masculine head and expression with dark eye. Good reach of neck and front assembly. Still needing to drop in forechest which should come with age. Level topline and well set tail. Moved freely and just needs time to mature. Best Puppy.

2nd Horler’s Thandiwe Serendipity – Field Spaniel

Very much a baby with plenty to like about her. Well proportioned head with enough work for her age. Good make a shape with good angulation both ends. Correct flat bone and neat feet. Moved well and her tail never stopped wagging.

Busby’s Stangate Leading Role at Zakby – Irish Water Spaniel

I thought this young dog was cracking, very typy, super outline and full of character. Masculine in head and expression, a shade cheeky but this did not detract. Well placed ears. Good reach of neck and lay back of shoulder, required return of forearm. Chest developing well, barrelled ribs which were well back and a firm loin. Well angulated quarters which had good muscular development. Good bone and neat feet. Super condition and coat of correct crisp ringlets. On the move he was a jot to watch, covering the ground with ease and a precise footfall. Best AVNSC and Group 1.

2nd Upton-Lovett & Upton’s Gunalt Lustrous – Weimaraner

Another from the top drawer and she presents a typical and elegant outline on the stack. Lovely head and expression with good finish to foreface. Correct in angulation and good body properties. Firm in topline and stands over plenty of ground. On the move she needs a little more co-ordination but I could see her free flowing action once she got going.

Dunk’s Boniblend Howards Way to Dunkus – Sussex Spaniel

3 year old of good make and shape. Masculine in head, well proportioned with defined stop. Strong in neck, good lay of shoulder, would like a little more depth to forechest. Good though the rib and loin and maintained his topline. Good leg length and neat feet. Moved at a steady pace, happy and an ever wagging tail.

Smart black bitch of good type. Beautiful head and expression with good fringing and well placed ears. Strong neck and good front assembly. Firm in topline, ribs well back and powerful loin. Good bend to stifles and enough bone throughout. Moved freely covering the ground well. Harsh coat and well presented. Res Best AVNSC

2nd Hazeltine, Crowther and Alcorn’s Hudwith Chortle with Hookwood JW SHCM – Weimaraner

Feminine with substance, presenting a clean outline and standing over plenty of ground. Typical head and super expression. Good reach of neck leading to a well made front assembly. Ribs well back and firm in loin, would prefer a slightly better finish to the croup. Strong quarters which gave her a driving action. Would like her a little more positive in rear action when going away. Was fighting her handler on the stack which spoilt her topline.

Brindle and white bitch with an appealing head, long and lean with an alert expression. Good reach of neck which led neatly into her shoulders. Desired front assembly and good depth. Correct in topline and clean underline. Quarters developing well and used to advantage on the move. Covered the ground in a free flowing action, just needs to settle in front which should come with age. Best Puppy.

Upstanding dog who maintains his balance and elegance. Won the class on his typical and clean outline. Well made throughout with desired angles front and back. Stands on good legs and feet. Lean and long in head with well placed ears. Correct in topline and underline. Moved well in profile. Res BOB

2nd Strong & Clinton’s Amphoras Magiq in Vogue by Mackjama

Feminine bitch with a very appealing head and expression, neat well placed ears. Good reach of neck and lay back of shoulder, would prefer a little more length to forearm. Straight front and neat feet. Good body with arch over the loin. Developed quarters and enough bend to stifle. True out and back but not quite the front extension of one.

1st Davis’ Jemalsheva Goldikova

Fawn brindle bitch who is feminine throughout with the correct amount of substance. Beautiful head with an alert expression. Clean in outline and has enough rise over the loin. Strong neck and enough front angulation. Good quarters and development of first and second thigh. Moved very well in profile covering the ground, would like a little tidier on the out and back.

2nd Bass and Halls Shalfleet Zante Star at Silverfrith

Placed 5th in the previous class as was not settled at all on the move, this time she had got her act together and performed much better. Very feminine with a lovely lean head and alert expression, flew her ears a little today. Clean neck and good front assembly, well boned and neat feet. Correct in topline and this was maintained on the move. Developed quarters and well set tail. Moved well in profile.

Post Graduate

1st Leach’s Dejare Dutch Finale for Meonrun

Fawn and white dog who is up to size, however maintains his balance very well and has an impressive outline. Masculine in head without being overdone, neat ears and an alert expression. Good neck and shoulders, depth to the forechest and straight front. Good through the rib and loin with desired arch. Quarters developed and used to advantage on the move. Fine and short coat of good condition. Moved well in profile just not as accurate going away as the junior in the challenge.

2nd Cahill & Timberlake’s Enolacans Antonio Banderas at Chipperlake (imp) JW

Fawn dog who presents a clean and balanced outline. Masculine and lean in head with lovely neat ears. Good reach of neck and layback of shoulder, a little short in forearm, which meant he picked up a little in front action. Good body proportions and desired topline and underline. Strongly made quarters and well set tail. Moved well on the out and back.

Smart dog who put on a great performance. Masculine in head, lean and well balanced with an alert expression and neat ears. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulders and a good return of forearm. Straight front and good depth to forechest. Pleasing body properties with the desired arch over the loin. Strong quarters with a good bend to the stifles. Moved true on the out and back and with an effortless side gait. Best of Breed.

Fawn dog, well balanced throughout. Masculine head with good underjaw, alert expression and well placed ears. Strong neck, good front assembly and straight front. Depth to forechest and ribbed back. Rise over the loin and well set tail. Quarters developed with good bend to stifles. Carrying a little too much weight today. Sound action on the move, would have liked a little more animation.
