Gordon Setter

Junior 1/0a

1st Hamilton-Smith’s - Pegasett Dizzy Dafne For Samsett

Promising young female, feminine head with correct proportions, lengthy neck, level topline, good turn of stifle, moved out true but just needs to strengthen at the rear, has good overall balance.

Graduate 2/0a

1st Hamilton-Smith’s - Kilnrae Signature Over Samsett - BOB

Nice type with lovely masculine head, clean lengthy neck into good lay of shoulder, straight forelegs, deep brisket, well ribbed, firm topline which he held on the move, strong well angulated quarters, moved with excellent drive.

2nd Hudson’s - Longrow Bohemian Rhapsody At Robvale

Masculine headed 2 year old male, with correct shaped eye, good shoulder placement, would have preferred a firmer level topline, moderate rear angulation, not so positive as one in his rear movement.

Open 2/1a

1st Wrigley’s - Kattandale Canterbury (ai)

3 year old male with stronger masculine head on adequate length of neck, well sprung ribs, short in loin, would have preferred more strength at the rear.

Hungarian Vizsla

Junior 2/1a

1st Harrison’s - Bitcon Camden - BOB, G1 & BIS

This young female just oozes great quality, she has the most loveliest of heads and expression, excellent in neck and shoulder placement, such a clean flowing outline and is so well constructed, her movement is effortless covering the ground so well, delighted to see her win the group and take BIS.

Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla

Puppy 2/1a

1st Upton’s - Stockgrove Pumkin To Tragus - BP & BOB

What a cracking youngster taking it all in her stride at her first show, she has such a pretty well proportioned head, she is well constructed with correct body proportions, moving so sound and true for one so young, just loved her true wirehaired coat, should have a very bright future.

Junior 1/0a

1st Cooper’s - Deifstock Duffy

Good size female puppy, clean neck into good shoulder placement, straight forelegs, moving well in front but just needs to strengthen at the rear, would have preferred a more wirehaired coat.

Nice type with excellent feminine balanced head, good in neck and shoulder placement, deep chest, strong quarters with good angulation, moved free and true.

Open 8/3a

Excellent class I’m sure the first three could all change places another day.

1st Miller’s - Feorlig Prima Donna (ESS) - BAVNSC

Hard to believe this quality female is now a veteran, she is so well balanced with excellent angulation fore and aft, such a lovely well proportioned head on strong clean neck, deep chest, strong quarters with good width, just loved her free flowing movement with reach and drive.

2nd Strevens - Sh Ch Erikachen Conaire At Tollisty JW ShCM ShCEx (NSDTR)

Judged this quality male four years ago as puppy when I awarded him BOB, he has a lovely typical head with correct shaped eye, well angulated at front and rear, level topline, well sprung ribs, good turn of stifle, looked excellent on the move, just preferred the ESS flowing movement on the day,

3rd Newson’s - Tivalake Lets Misbehave JW (NSDTR)

Quality male just pipped by his sire today.
