Junior Handling 6 – 11 years (5,2)
1st Megan Slack. A very competent young handler. Stacked your dog well on the floor and table. Precise patterns with tidy lines and showed a good rapport with you dog. Very good.
Lovely ‘T’ in the challenge and just had your dog stood better to win BJH
2nd Lia Smith-Mayes. You know the basics and just need to tidy up in a few areas. Show all of the teeth to the judge, start your patterns front of the judge and try not to turn the dog round you on the corners. Patterns were good.
3rd Charlotte Frith. Just 6 years old on the day and at your first show. I hope you had a lovely birthday. You obviously love your dog and he loves you. A good rapport is the foundation to build on. Keep on training with him and I look forward to seeing you in the ring in the future.
Junior Handling 12 – 16 Years (3,2)
1st Izzy King. You are obviously a competent handler. Good triangle and excellent lines on the up and back. Don’t kneel when showing the teeth and make sure you check he hasn’t moved his feet. It was this attention to details that was the difference in the challenge.
Adult Handling 17 – + Years (13,3)
1st Rhianna Brooks – What a lovely handler. I love the way you talk to your dog and give just the right amount of encouragement. Had her stood beautifully on the floor and the table, clear teeth and excellent patterns.
2nd Trinity Robb – You did not bring your ‘A’ game today. Stacked your dog with the usual precision and care but a little wayward on the 3rd leg of the triangle and a less tidy up and back cost you a place today.
3rd Gordon Lever. Another competent handler, dog stood well at all times, a wayward 3rd leg of the triangle initially put you 4th but your excellent line moved you up a place.
4th Emma Jolly. Very good handler but today a lapse in concentration and a wayward line across the ring cost you a top 3 place.
