Saltburn & District Canine Society

May I start by saying a huge thank you to Saltburn and District Canine Society for giving me the opportunity to judge some lovely classes for their recent limited show, I thoroughly enjoyed my day well looked after by the committee and ringside folk were all in good spirit.

1st Scott’s Cukoton Bewitched 16 month old young lady beautifully presented petite being white in colour. Coat coming in, well covering body, good in head slight rounded beautiful dark round eyes giving a feminine expression nice and straight in muzzle holding a good scissor bite. Ears well covered set on high, excellent pigment all round. Nicely boned all round top line rises well over her loin holding a good set tail well feathered. Movement was good stepping out freely.

1st Scott’s Cukoton Sky’s The Limit 3 year old female immaculately presented, white in colour with excellent coat texture. Feminine in head with beautiful expression, ears set well on a slight rounded head, large dark eyes pigment as dark as night all round, good in muzzle correct scissor bite, slight arched in neck sloping down a level back with correct rise over the loin holding a nicely low set feathered tail held well throughout.confident girl which showed through her movement excellent both coming and going nice deep chest with well laid shoulders nice and straight in front and rear pushing out well on the move.

Greathead and Shearman Glockens Raise The Stakes Miniature Schnauzer 14 month old super Male very masculine presence, striking head with beautiful expression the most appealing dark oval eyes, high set ears dropping nicely forward strong in muzzle excellent clean scissor bite. Pepper and salt in colour of good texture with well groomed furnishings.slightly arched in neck sloping down to strong well laid shoulders with well muscled straight front. Deep chest straight in back good in rear with rounded feet all round.excellent confident boy in movement strong drive maintaining beautiful outline throughout.

2nd Snook Dalreavoch Northern Caper English Setter such a handsome gentle natured 21 month old Male, soft wavy coat blue belt on in colour with excellent markings, elegant well balanced outline. Beautiful gentle expression pretty eyes lovely in head long and lean with good stop, correct in bite, ears set low furnished well,lovely deep chest straight and well muscled all round,neat feet, straight top line good depth well sprung in ribs, tail carried proudly well feathered, gracefully moved well with good rear drive.

1st Scott’s Travellerways Bethia At Rhincrew Bedlington Terrier. Wow well where to start, this young lady took my attention the moment I saw her 11 month old feminine girl, liver in colour, soft coat texture, well groomed and immaculately presented, gentle natured sweet temperament, pear shaped in head nice and straight to muzzle, excellent bite, eyes hazel in colour small but alert such a feminine expression, ears low set with silky fringing to ears. Head carried well strong in neck well up from shoulders. Nice in body with a slight arch to back sloping down to a low set tail nicely covered. Well-muscled in rear hare like feet, moved with elegance gentle stride with a spring in her step.

2nd Smallwood Wiltonwood Love Me Do Lakeland Terrier. Another young lady who caught my eye. 14 months old elegant girl but alert and fun loving throughout. Beautiful outline strong well balanced little girl. Strong in head but feminine soft expression, strong jaws with good scissor bite. Alertness in her dark eyes, ears small correctly placed in proportion to her head. Slightly arched in neck with well laid shoulders. Strong straight front hugging a narrow chest level in back well muscled rear with powerful movement great drive well padded feet. Tail carried proudly throughout excellent clean movement full of alertness and a look at me presence.

Olivia Richardson aged 12 handling a Standard Poodle well groomed, nicely presented smart young lady pleasant personality.Fully attentive to her positioning watching she didn’t come between myself and the dog, good eye contact when spoken to, ran her dog freely but with good control throughout. Great to see a young lady enjoying her day with her dog, our future for showing.
