Pastoral

Border Collie Open. 4.2.

1st.Harkness. Locheil It Had To Be You At Brymarway SHcM. An 8 yr old dog of lovely qualities, well balanced, fairly board skull, good eye and ear set, perfect pigmentation, scissor bite, strong neck good shoulders, a perfect picture profile, moved well. BOB. Group2. & Best AV Pastoral Veteran.

2nd. Collier. Tonkory Jumping For Joy Over Collhead. A nice 5 yr old bitch, with a sweet feminine head, alert, good eyes and ear set, good top line, parallel front legs viewed from the front, well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, as the 1st placement both could do a days work, and could change places on other occasions, moved well. RBOB.

Shetland Sheepdog Graduate. 2.0.

1st. Nelson/Chandler. Wellneuk Wish Upon A Star At Silvergill. A nice bitch with a lovely sheltie feminine head, scissor bite, excellent front, sound body, good topline, well presented, moved freely. RBOB.

2nd.Williams. Ivydale Summer Mist. Another nice sweet bitch, nice head and expression, good shoulders and neck, sound throughout, moved well.

Shetland Sheepdog Open.4.3.

1st. Gamble. Solyric Inaugural Gold JW. A lovely male of good quality, typical sheltie head, good ear set, soundly structured throughout, excellent front, good top line, and tail carried down at all times on the move. BOB.

2nd. Hepburn. Shellamoyed Simply The Best At Leterikhills. JW. SHcM. This dog again, like my 1st placement has similar qualities, I liked both of them equally, good head, excellent front, word for word as 1st, but today splitting hairs,it was down to movement only, very well done.

3rd. Barnes. Sonymer Snow Drop.

Briard Open. 4.0.

1st. Fosterebrie Melo Noir At Dalquhairn. A good 3 yr old male, very pleasing to the eye, supple, muscular, very well proportioned as the standard asks for, on the stand he was very proud, slightly rounded skull, square muzzle, horizontally placed eyes, good set ears, black lips, scissor bite, angulation as it should be, nice top line, all as it should be, moved freely. BOB.

2nd. Steel. Fosterbrie Schmitten Noir. A 2 yr old male, he had a good strong head, correct eye and ear set, scissor bite, good length of neck, shoulder well angulated broad chest, a good spring of rib well let down, a nd a nice slight slope at the croup to make a good tail set, pleasing to the eye, moved well.

3rd. Steel. Fostebrie Prosper.

Res. Russell. Elvinville Hugo Boss.

Old English Sheepdog. 4.2.

Furguson. Mellowdee Morarty With Lexalby SHcM, SHCEX. 3rd yrs old male of good quality, good head, correct eye and ear set, deep chest, nice top line, well laid shoulders, correct front, well balanced throughout, I believe I’ve judged this dog before, and as always very pleasing to the eye, shown and presented beautifully. BOB Group 4.

2nd. Richardson. Storinblu Rhythm Of My Heart. A 23mth old dog, with the correct Chrysanthemum shaped head very pleasing throughout, like my own breed, OES mature slowly, which I believe gives them a long and good show career, which this chap I think will have, he has everything in the correct place, and moved well, I will watch this one with interest.

German Shepherd Dog Graduate. 2.1.

1st. Henderson. Redwoodlands Etamin. A 9 mth old male, full of life, alert and proud, he took a bit to settle, but never the less, his head in proportion to the size of his body, his skull tapered gradually from the ears to the nose, almond shaped eyes, nice long strong neck, his shoulder and upper arms of equal length, his overall picture was very pleasing, moved well with drive. RBOB & BP. Puppy Group 3.

German Shepherd Dog Open. 1.0.

1st. Johnstone. Olantigh Dawn Chorus At Brocklehirst. A 2 yr old bitch, Slighly long in comparison to height as is asked for, correct head, good eye and ear set, everything as it should be, and the temperament on both GSD’s were brilliant. Moved well.

Rough Collie Graduate. 2.0.

1st. Iley. Arklethill Delilah At Ileyda. A nice young bitch, with a sweet feminine head, good eye and ear set, good front well arched neck, nice shoulder placement, slightly longer body in comparison to the height which is correct, well balanced throughout, moved well.

2nd. Iley. Call Me Dreamer In Blue For Ileyda Della Verde Scozia (Imp Ita). Another nice bitch from the same kennel, good collie head, all as it should be, good ear set small and not to close together with two thirds erect, well placed shoulders, deep chest, good rear angulation, moved well.

Rough Collie Open. 4.0.

1st. Quince. Karafaye Black Beauty. A 4 yr old bitch of excellent qualities, she had a lovely feminine head correct eye and ear set, nice reach of neck, good shoulders, correct top line, her hind quarters well muscled at the thighs and her hocks well let down, sound throughout, her movement was true to the breed, I was 100% pleased with the overall picture. BOB & Group 1.

2nd. Fox. Alantita Winter Jazzmine. A 5yr old bitch, she also had very good qualities, a pleasing head, good neck, nice top line, everything as it should be, moved well, I felt that all the Roughs here today, showed that the breed is in a good place with quality at the moment well done.

3rd. Iley. Arklethill Delilah At Ileyda

Res. . Iley. Call Me Dreamer In Blue For Ileyda Della Verde Scozia (Imp Ita). 

Hungarian Puli Open 3.2.

1st. Fulton. Ch Cordante Black Masquerade. A wonderful bitch, for a herding breed of 11 yr old still could do a day’s work, she had that lovely small domed skull, correct eye and ear set, medium length neck tight skinned and muscular, well laid shoulders, strong and muscled hindquarters, finished off with that lovely corded coat. BOB.

2nd Fulton. Prima Enso Boreas For Cordante (Imp LTU) A 6mth old puppy dog, with the cute factor, he had a lovely head, correct eye and ear set, nice top line, everything as it should be with a one so young, and he really enjoy the whole experience, he will have a good future I have no doubt. BP. Puppy Group 2.

AVNSC Pastoral Puppy.4.3.

1st. Leckenby. Kiltondale Chicago Flame. ( Bearded Collie) An 8mth old dog of wonderful qualities, which I think he has a great future ahead of him, he a lively alert chap, correct head with good eye and ear set, strong muzzle, equal in length to disance between stop and occiput, the pigment of the eyes and his lips followed his nose colour, slightly arched neck, good shoulder placement, level back, and well sprung ribs not barrelled, well muscled quarters, finishing with a good low set tail, moved well. Best AV Pastoral Puppy, Puppy Group 1.

2nd. Ayrton. Aoibh Fiery Flamenco. (Bearded Collie). A young bitch, of good qualites, pleasing head, correct eye and ear set, nice top line, not in full coat yet, but being from a coated breed myself I know there’s more to a dog the a coat, the over all picture of this bitch was very nice, a one I will watch in the future, well done.

3rd. Ayrton. Aoibh Ready To Rumba.

AVNSC Pastoral Junior. 3.2.

1st. Leckenby. Kiltondale Chicago Flame. ( Bearded Collie) 

2nd. Ayrton. Aoibh Ready To Rumba (Bearded Collie) A young dog very much like his sister in the last class, but masculine, all good qualities, as his sister, the two of them with do well as time goes on, well done.

AVNSC Pastoral Post Graduate. 2.0

1st. Ayrton Aoibh Skylark. (Bearded Collie) A 3yr old bitch, she had the correct alert head, good eye and ear set, well pleased shoulders, good top line, well muscled throughout, moved well.

2nd. Leckenby. Kiltondale Amarillo Star (Bearded Collie). A young dog, pleasing head, all as it should be, move with drive.

AVNSC Open. 2.1.

1st Williams Ivydale Vellamo (Finnish Lapphund) A bitch of 4yrs old, with the typical head for the breed, her muzzle shorter than the skull as asked for in the standard, oval dark eyes, erect ears, scissor bite, good pigmentation, excellent shoulder placement, good top line, finishing off with a lovely double coat, moved well after settling, very promising. Well done, Group 3.
