Large Munsterlanders

All dogs were shown with their coats in excellent condition, with good dentation and neatly trimmed feet.

Class 64 - Puppy (1,0)

1 Butler’s Toberworry Breaking Dawn at Jendella’s (B). A little nervous in the ring, but with a lovely feminine head and expression. Strong neck flowing into well laid back shoulders. Obviously still developing, but a sound chest and ribs with correct body shape. Good turn of stifle. Well set on tail beginning to show some nice feathers. Once she got going she moved well and kept her topline on the move. Best Puppy.

Class 65 - Post Graduate (3.0)

1 Powell & Murrell’s Crumpsbrook Woodrush (D). Masculine head with a kind and engaging expression. A very well balanced dog with good head carriage and correct flow of neck leading into well laid back shoulders. Good depth of chest with well sprung ribs. Strong back and broad muscular hind quarters with well set-on tail. Good angulation front and rear. He moved out with purpose and drive for his handler today, maintaining a good topline on the move with correct tail carriage. Reserve Best of Breed. 2 Caile’s Kamaze Cosmic Diamond (B). Very excited on entering the ring, but once she calmed down I was able to go over her. A well proportioned bitch with a nice feminine head and dark eyes. Good neck smoothly flowing into well laid back shoulder with sound chest and ribs. Firm back and hind quarters with broad hips and well turned stifles. Once settled she moved freely with a pleasing spring to her gait.

Class 66 - Open (4,2)

1 Lloyd and Smith’s Ch Crumpsbrook Bayleaf Von Rulander (D). Demonstrated great presence as soon as he entered the ring. A very well proportioned and balanced dog with dark head and eyes carried on a strong neck. Well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest and well sprung ribs. Good front and rear angulation. Strong back leading to broad hips and well-muscled loin and thighs. Good topline with well set on tail. Good turn of stifle. Showed his experience on the move, maintaining outline whilst driving out with purpose and determination on a long, free gait. Best of Breed. Very pleased to see him then go on to be placed in the Group Competition. 2 Bulter’s Sh Ch Ichbin Jaunty of Jendell’s (B). Another very well balanced dog. Very nice feminine head with kind expression. Good neck and shoulders smoothly flowing into a strong back with well sprung ribs. Broad and well muscled hips with correct tail set and well turned stifles. Good topline and profile standing, just felt that she didn’t show drive and purpose on the move.
