Thank you to the society for the invitation to judge, my competent Steward and to all the exhibitors who entered their Dalmatians under me.

Junior 5/1

1st - Finlay’s Dalfin Actual Fact. 17 month old black spotted Male. Broad flat scull, strong muzzle and correct scissor bite, well placed and held ears, nice dark eye. Good length of neck flowed into well defined withers and a strong level topline. Moderately angled front and rear, stood on nice tight feet, still needs more body but hopefully that will come with age. Moved well. lost out in the challenge because I preferred the height to length ratio on my open winner. RBOB

2nd - Sims’ Mullabuoy Magic Man For Snowspeeder. 16 months old black spotted Male. Smaller in build overall than 1. Correct scissor bite, nice dark eye and nicely placed and held ears. Well laid back shoulders and level topline, would like more return of upper arm to be in balance with his well angulated rear. Good width of thigh, round bone, straight front and tight feet. Moved well.

3rd - McMillan’s Keiradal Captain Jack For Dalyance. 6 months old Black spotted Male. Nice head and expression. Good length of neck into level topline. Moderately angled front and rear, well off for bone throughout. Nice straight front and tight feet. Moved loosely due to age but nothing was exaggerated or out of place. Could benefit from a little more ringcraft to show himself off to advantage but coped well at his first show. BPIB

Post Grad 3/1

1st - Sims’ Mullabuoy Magic Man For Snowspeeder. (2nd in junior)

2nd - Chattaway’s Shydally’s Dahlia. 4 year old black spotted bitch. Pretty head and expression enhanced by well set ears. Good length of neck into well defined withers. Level topline and balanced angles front and rear. Straight front down to tight feet. Moved well. Lost out to 1 due to carrying a little extra weight and would have preferred her more toned.

Open 3/1

1st - Pawson’s Cragvallie Vinny’s Chance. 4 year old Black spotted Male. This boy was masculine throughout without being overdone. Broad flat scull with strong muzzle of good length and correct scissor bite. Dark eye, well placed and held ears. Nicely arched neck flows into well defined withers, strong level topline onto correct tailset. Front and rear angles complimented each other giving a balanced outline in profile. Well sprung ribs and good depth of chest giving adequate heart and lung room to enable him to do a days work. Straight front, strong round bone down to tight feet. Well muscled throughout which showed as he drove around the ring with ease. BOB

2nd - Sims’ Mullabuoy Magic Man For Snowspeeder. (2nd in junior)
