London & Home Counties Terrier Club

Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge at their annual show. This show brought back fond memories for me as this was one of the first shows that I ever judged at way back when I was a student. Time has certainly marched on since then.

BIS England & Burrage’s Cesky Terrier, Ch Ashleyheath’s Black Thunder-this boy was in cracking form today. Super shape and outline, in lovely condition and moved so soundly up and back. Good in profile too. Asked for BIS and could not be denied.

Res BIS Bamsey’s Irish Terrier Holbam Celtic Wizzard-have done this one well as a puppy and pleased to see that he is developing as I hoped. Typical Irish temperament which keeps his handler on her toes. Super head with a real varminty expression. In hard condition and has a good outline. Great tail set and carriage.

BIS 3 Hayes’ Norwich Terrier, Ragus Seven Jumps-this youngster had a good day under me today. Handled really well on the table and today was one of the better movers up, back and in profile. Feminine. Delightful temperament.

BIS 4 Johnson’s SBT, Ellchansha Once Upn A Time-completed a good four. Lovely hard condition, decent head, enough substance but not overdone. Still has some developing to do but shows promise.

BPIS Satherley & Witheyman’s SCWT Silkcroft Born This Way-stylish youngster who took my eye straight away. Lovely proportions, great outline and possesses that indefinable star quality. Feminine but not fine. Obviously her coat will need to develop but at this stage of her career she looks really promising.

Res BPIS O’ Rourke’s Kerry Blue Terrier Kebulak Desire on Fire-I had this one in the shortlist for BIS. Stood up well to examination, moved well in all directions and presented a typical outline. Promising.

BPIS 3 Cooke’s Irish Terrier Star Du Neufmoulin for Montelle-raw youngster, lots of quality, good outline, good bone and beautifully presented. Lovely temperament.

BPIS 4 Foster’s WHWT Thozow I’d Do Anything-feminine, short coupled , lovely outline and ok on the move.

AV Terrier Veteran

1st Burrage’s Cesky Ch Komidion Night Music at Sametova-another lovely Cesky from this kennel Looked great for her age, well presented and moved assertively around the ring. Clearly deserves her title. Super.

2ns Foskett, Tyrell & Freer’s Aussie Ch Silhill Stelata-this lady has done well under me in the past and has retained her quality in her veteran years. She is bang on for proportions being the correct length to height ratio. Super coat texture and an attractive colour. Great tail and has a rear that just powers her round the ring.

3rd Greenwood’s Scottie Petmon Miss Tiggywinkle

AV Vulnerable Terrier Breeds

1st Hayes’ Norwich, Ragus Seven Jumps

2nd Spain’s Manchester, Ch Talanors Diamon Tornado-lovely type of Manchester in super hard condition and coat gleaming. Correct tan markings and a lovely rich tan. Good rear. Just a bit proud of his tail.

3rd Kettle’s SFT Foxindean Prettiest Star

Special Champion Stakes

1st Foster’s WHWT Ch Hillsted Masquerade at Thozow -eyecatching Westie who looks really good when stacked. Was very nice to go over with decent skull and good expression. Held his topline on the move. Masculine but in no way coarse.

2nd Spain’s Manchester, Ch Talanors Diamond Tornado

Res BOB stakes

1st Francis’s SCWT Sawheaton Kiss From A Rose-lovely outline, showed well and not a bad mover. Coat is just a bit in between and should look better with maturity.

2nd Ruffles & Williamson’s Irish, Holbam Celtic Erin-put in a steady performance and is maturing well. Super temperament.

3rd Heeley’s Border, Thistlemead Harmony

Special Beginners Stakes

1st Hayes’ Norwich Ragus Seven Jumps

2nd Greenwood’s Scottie Carisco Return Amber to Petmon-presented a good outline with a good topline which she held on the move. Feminine but with plenty of substance. Promising.

3rd Mitchell & Ashton’s SBT Blooming Lovely
