Border Collie

G (4,1) 1. Lampier’s Pencoppen All Time Love. 14mth old b/w b in super condition. Elegant, typical and well balanced throughout with sweet expression, broad flat skull with sufficient stop, drop ears, sufficient reach of neck, super bone, good depth of chest and good angulation fore and aft. She moved effortlessly with drive, holding her topline level. A promising youngster and pleased to award her BOB. 2. Lampier’s Pencoppen Good Timin’. Litter brother to 1 and so similar in type and construction but preferred eye of winner. He moved well and shows promise.  3. Fleming’s Birkcross Zuri Girl (BP)

O (9,6)  1. Garland’s Tonkory Royale ShCM. 3yr old b/w d of good type and so well balanced. In good coat of correct weatherproof texture his head handled well with flat skull, drop ears, sweet dark eye and good underjaw. Good length/height ratio and sufficient bone and substance. Moved freely with drive. RBOB.   2. Lampier’s Tonkory I’m All Right Jack. Good breed type and sound in all respects. A close decision and these two could change places on another occasion.  3. Stacey’s Locheil Spirit Of Love

Bearded Collie

O (7,3) 1. Tippett’s Potterdale Fernando At Snowtip. Well constructed and beautifully presented 2yr old slate d of good breed type. In great coat, he had a balanced head with parallel planes, excellent reach of neck, good angulation and length and spring of rib. Sound on the move, he drove round the ring holding his topline level. Pleased to award him BOB  2. Hawkins’ Thingamebob He’s All That. 2 ½ yr old brown d who is maturing into an eyecatching d. A close decision between these two but preferred the extra freedom of movement of 1. RBOB/winner of RBOB competition.  3. Webb’s Megamaree Just Amazing JW, ShCM  4. Betts & Bush’ Winterlyn Heaven Can Wait With Pipadene. BP/PG1

Samoyed

G (1) 1. Argyle’s Elygra Ice Precious Moment. 10 month b in excellent coat and of good breed type. Pleasing head properties with kind dark eye, excellent bone and substance, and super temperament but needs time to settle on the move and tighten up at the rear.

O (4,1)  1. Meakin-Turner’s Sarnoushka Penny Lane At Plyushka ShCM. Upstanding 5yr old b in super condition and of good breed type. Pleasing head properties with dark eye of correct size and placement and kind, mischievous expression. She showed steadily and moved soundly though would prefer more oomph. Despite this she did enough to be awarded BOB. 2. Argyle’s Elygra Ice Poetry In Motion. Promising 10 month old b (litter sister to Grad winner). Super head and expression and excellent bone and substance. More positive on the move than her sister but somewhat excitable on the day. A quality youngster I was delighted to award her BP/RBOB/PG3.  3. Parker’s Icemount Ky Luck Be A Lady

Polish Lowland Sheepdog

O (2,1) 1. Roberts’ Ponadto Winter Wizard To Roloki (imp Pol). Typical 2 ½ yr old of d of good proportions with super coarse coat and a natural bob tail. Balanced head with broad furrowed skull, sufficient underjaw and well placed dark oval eye. Covered the ground well keeping his topline level but found him a tad overloaded in the shoulders. BOB

Finnish Lapphund

PG (2,1)  1. Rudd’s Infindigo Lintu Henkka. Happy and sound 2 ½ yr old d in great coat and condition. Correct height/length ratio. Good strength of head with erect ears and well filled foreface, good underjaw and dark eye. Good angulation fore and aft, ample bone and substance and depth of brisket. Showed steadily and moved freely with drive.  Pleased to award him BOB.

O (3,1) 1. Cooper & Critchlow’s Ch Pavoskas Aly Arttu JW, ShCM. Mature and upstanding 4 yr old tri d in good harsh coat and presented well. Head handled well though a little strong for me. Erect ears and correctly placed kind oval eye, though shaded markings over muzzle tended to harden his overall expression. Moved effortlessly on well boned legs and neat feet. RBOB.  2. Treasure’s Infindigo Riemu Emmi ShCM. 7yr b in good condition with ample bone and substance, good spring of rib and depth of brisket. Well balanced head with erect ears though expression spoiled by too full an eye. Good reach of movement but a tad close behind.

Australian Shepherd Dog

SY (1) 1. Lee’s Villanyna Wizards Apprentice For Amenbury (imp Sp). Upstanding and happy 18mth tri d with natural bob tail of good proportions. He was blessed with very dark tan points which sadly, combined with a narrow blaze, tended to harden his overall expression. His head handled well with broad skull and well filled foreface. Ample angulation fore and aft and good bone, substance and depth of chest. Showed well and moved freely keeping topline level.

PG (2,1) 1. Lee’s Amberslade Morse Code For Amenbury. 3yr old b/m d well up to size and with a full length tail which he carried well. Harsh coat of correct weatherproof texture but colour should be clearer. Head of good proportions though eye a little full, so detracting from overall expression. Good depth of chest, short loin and fair angulation. Moved quite well though would prefer more drive.

O (4,2) 1. Cousins’ Love In A Mist of Fender Song For Moortime (imp) JW, ShCM. 4yr old b/m b of good clear blue colour but, sadly, she had left her clothes behind though what she had was harsh and weatherproof. B of good type and well balanced but would prefer more of her all over. Pleasing head pattern with feminine expression atop a good reach of neck, sufficient bone, good angulation fore and aft and ample depth of chest and spring of rib. She moved freely, with plenty of drive. Pleased to award her BOB on movement and overall breed type. 2. Lee’s Louis Blanchett At Amenbury. 6yr old b/m d of very different type to winner. His colour was not his fortune but he was a well constructed d and moved quite soundly though a little excitable. RBOB.

German Shepherd Dog

PG (4,1) 1. Hensley & Swift’s Adenburg Wizzi. Attractive and feminine 18mth b/t b with super temperament, balanced clean head and kind intelligent eye. Good in front with straight back, short loin and ample hind angulation. She moved freely with good reach though needs to tighten up at the rear. Promising youngster. RBOB 2. Verplancke’s Inferno Wolfie. 7mth sable of working type and standing four-square. Well up to size he had a harsh coat, ample bone, good angulation without exaggeration, good reach of neck and straight back. He showed confidently and moved well for one so young. BP.  3. Organ’s Kombiniert Gerti At Chapelforge

O (6, 1) 1. Fenn & Foster’s Chalksville Cool Running Over Jandeburn ShCM. ShCex. Eye catching 4yr old b/t d with harsh coat and in great condition. Took my eye on entering the ring and no mistaking his gender. Well balanced d of good breed type, his head handled well with clean cheeks and dark intelligent eye though to be critical would prefer slightly tighter lip line. Great reach of neck sloping into good withers and straight back with ample spring of rib and deep brisket. Well off for bone, and well muscled up he powered round the ring with strong hocks and good drive. Pleased to award him BOB/Gp4. 2. Shaw’s Astradine Keepsake JW. 4 yr old sable b of working type with no exaggerations. Pleasing head pattern with kind intelligent eye. A tad long in loin spoiled overall balance but topline held well on the move though would like to see more drive.  3. Shaw’s Astradine Kornishman JW, ShCM

In great condition she showed steadily and moved briskly and freely round the ring. Delighted to award her BOB/Gp1. 2. O’Neill’s Milyentor Grand Token. 10 yr old d of good type and construction, but did not have the ring presence of the b and lacked a little drive on the move. RBOB.  3. Open (2) 1. Lee’s Balletcor Godric Gryffindor For Horcrux. 2yr old s/w son of 2nd in this class. Slightly longer in loin than his sire but preferred this boy’s ear carriage and eye shape and placement. Good angulation, bone, spring of rib. Moved freely. RBOB. 2. Lee’s Balletcor Morning Symphony At Amenbury ShCM, Ir Jun Ch. Sire of class winner and of similar type though shorter cast. Darker sable colour with good harsh texture. AVNSC

PG (6,1) 1. Cross’ Belsharose Exodus To Pedara. 14 mth old Malinois d (BSD). Elegant youngster of good breed type and proportions, balanced head with dark masking and kind eye. Harsh weatherproof coat, excellent depth of chest and sufficient spring of rib. Showed steadily and moved freely with good extension and drive. RBOB. 2. Jones’ Quemerford Take Two. Eyecatching 18 mth old blue OES d in super condition,  his harsh coat beautifully presented.  I judged this boy as an 8mth pup and admired his overall elegance and type. His head handles well and his reach of neck gives him that proud bearing which says ‘look at me’! He is maturing well and could have been my winner today but, although he moved with good drive, he was a little excitable and erratic. Will watch his progress with interest.  3. Hackney’s Starvon Bring It On (Swedish Vallhund)

O (4) 1. Denton’s Ch Brackenhaye Fields Of Gold. 3yr old shaded sable Smooth Collie d. Elegant and of good construction and correct height/length ratio.
