PG (4) 1. Virgo’s Aoiristar Supernova ShCM (IKC). Upstanding black d with tan points, in excellent coat and condition, and natural bob tail. Good conformation with well laid-back shoulders and sufficient turn of stifle, excellent bone, substance and reach of neck. Balanced clean head with flat skull and well filled foreface, dark eye and kind expression. Sets himself up well when concentrating. Happy character if somewhat overexcited, but eventually settled down to move soundly with good drive. Pleased to award him BOB.

2. Barr’s Allmark Yogi Bear. Beautifully clear-coloured b/m d with good set-on of tail of good length. Good proportions throughout and super temperament. Balanced head with blue eyes, and a kind and intelligent expression. Showed steadily and moved well but would prefer better turn of stifle and tail carriage. RBOB.

3. Gillingham’s Silverdream Aussies Time Will Tell At Parkgrove ShCM (imp).

Finnish Lapphunds

Puppy (1) 1. Critchlow’s Pavoskas Disco. 7 mths wolf sable b of super type and in great condition with coarse-textured coat. Developing along the right lines with pleasing head properties and oval friendly eyes and erect and expressive ears. Good angulation fore and aft, sufficient bone and substance, good spring of rib and neat feet. Correctly set and carried tail and sound and effortless on the move. Should have a bright future. Pleased to award her BP & BOB and was delighted when she was later awarded Gp3 and PGp2 under Britt-Marie Young.

Jun (3,2) 1. Wrightwell’s Arcanely Ashmeads Kernel. 13 mth blue Gt Dane d of excellent proportions. Developing well with sufficient bone and substance, good depth of chest and sufficient spring of rib for age. Good angulation and reach of neck, providing overall elegance. Pleasing head properties, clean cut and of good length with good lip line. He showed well and was quite elegant on the move though needs to strengthen in hocks. First time in the ring for both dog and owner so they have lots to learn but this boy is worth persevering with.

PG (2,2)

Open (3,2) 1. Franklin’s Nageem Haribo At Haccasbrook ShCM. Upstanding Rottweiler d with great character. Good powerful proportions throughout with ample bone and substance, flexible pasterns and sufficient angulation. Fair reach of clean and muscular neck and broad masculine head with kind dark eye. A powerful dog he moved with purpose and good drive, holding his topline well. Best AVNSC Working.

Puppy (4, 2ab, 1w/h) 1. Mills & Chatburn’s Zentaur Drop It Like Its Hot For Oialt (A1). Appealing 8 mth black Newfoundland b, developing well and in proportion. Feminine head pattern with clean cheeks and dark eyes giving a gentle expression. Fair reach of neck flowing into level back, with good depth of chest and well ribbed up with short, strong loin. Sufficient bone and substance and good angulation fore and aft, with correct webbed feet. Moved well holding her topline firm. She has good extension at the front but needs to tighten at the rear which should come with maturity and the correct exercise regime.

Jun (5,3) 1. Plummer’s Aritaur Ginerosity. Confident and promising 15 mth black Dobermann b. Elegant with clean and balanced lines, excellent reach of neck, good forequarters and forechest, sufficient turn of stifle, straight back and strong loin. She portrays overall elegance and balance and her head is in proportion being the correct wedge with flat skull, good foreface, tight lip line and dark enquiring eye. Moved freely with good front extension but needs to strengthen in hocks to enable better drive.

2. Arcanely Ashmeads Kernel – Dane

PG (3,2) 1. Toogood’s Izzyty Max Busted Out. 3yr brindle Boxer d with pleasing head and expression. Square profile with short straight and correctly slightly sloping back. Correct depth of chest, well sprung ribs and short firm loin and fair turn of stifle. Would prefer better front angulation and reach of neck to give the required nobility and balance. He covered the ground quite well though steepness of shoulder caused a rather high-stepping action at the front which spoiled his outline on the move.

Open (5, 1ab, 2 w/d) 1. Burgess’ Cedarcreek Forever Young At Mountainglen. Upstanding and eye-catching grey and white Malamute b in good coat of correct texture. Her powerful head handled well and she had the gentlest of expressions. Good angulation fore and aft, great body condition, depth of chest and spring of rib, ample bone and short strong pasterns. She covered the ground well though I would prefer more drive from the rear. Best AV Working/Gp2.

2. Wickers’ Vukasin Dance With The Dragons. A strong and well- muscled red Husky d. Head of good type, fair reach of neck, good angulation and straight firm back though rather too long in loin which spoiled his overall balance. Young handler found this lad a bit of a handful so he was difficult to assess on the move.

Working Goup

Gp 1. Wickers & Munday’s Jacalous Catch Me If You Can for Vukasin. 15 mth Husky b - and you would have great difficulty catching her! Appealing, stylish and typical of the breed, she was a well-balanced feminine b with a lovely steady temperament. Her movement was a joy to behold. An easy Gp winner and I was later thrilled to see her go RBIS under Toni Jackson.

Gp2. Burgess’ Cedarcreek Forever Young At Mountainglen – Malamute b.

Gp3. Baldock’s Gunnersnewfs All Or Nothing JW – black Newfoundland b.

Gp4. Massey’s Jojavik Kissy Suzuki ShCM – Dobermann b.

Working Puppy Group
