IRISH WOLFHOUND – J (0) O (2) 1 Holder & Howe’s Sade Araya Mascotts, just 18 months & right for age, she is quality, obviously her head needs to finish but it is balanced with a good eye & proportions, well set & carried ears, she moved so well particularly in profile, good depth of chest & a strong topline & well carried tail, well boned legs & feet, loved her type & development. BOB; 2 Cramphorn’s Yelxba Victoria, 5 year old bitch of a good stamp, coating at present but this cannot hide her well developed body, good neck & shoulders, in lovely muscular condition, feminine, mature head of a good size with a lovely eye & well set ears, moved well for a different handler but heat was obviously affecting her. RBOB. SALUKI – J (1) Aldous & Glaister’s Jay JP Sea Bird El Panjsher, alone but he will win in any company, only 10 months old but he is quality & beautifully put down to the minute, in profile she is balanced with a good neck & shoulders, good topline & just the right amount of body to finish, good legs & feet & when he moved he is so precise & excellent head carriage in profile movement with a well set & carried tail. This cream has lots going for him & I couldn’t resist him for BOB & BP. PG (2) 1 Buckley’s Ch Hisilome’s Lamorak, mature import of a different stamp, slightly longer in body & needing a bit of weight to complete the picture, obviously he works as he is fit & well muscled, won here but the heat was affecting him making him move a bit slow, in lovely coat with a good loin & good hindquarters. RBOB; 2 Lovell’s Fernlark Anastasia, pretty bitch in good coat & condition, would prefer stronger hind movement going away & still needs to finish, enough neck & weight, well boned legs & feet, showed & moved in profile well. WHIPPETS – P (3,2a) 1 Bass & Hall’s Shalfleet New Moon Rising at Silverfrith, absolute baby but such quality could not be denied, he is just right for a 6 months old baby, his movement is cracking for age & he took it all in his stride, in beautiful coat & condition, loved his head which will finish but it is balanced with a kind eye & well set & carried ears, excellent neck & shoulders, correct topline & just the right depth of chest for age, correct hindquarters which were strong & well muscled, showed his socks off to win class & BP; 2 Byron’s Jasarat Gucci, heavier more mature f/w boy who is also 6 months, still needs to settle on the move, showed & tried hard for his handler, masculine in outlook with well boned legs & feet, in lovely coat & condition with a good neck & shoulders. J (4) A lovely class to judge. 1 Bird’s Blandings Eyes On The Prize, brindle bitch from the top drawer, she is quality with an excellent head & expression, good head proportions with a lovely eye & well set & carried ears, excellent neck & shoulders, correct topline & well muscled hindquarters & well set tail, good depth of chest & excellent body proportions, still a junior but shows promise, in profile movement her head carriage & tail set & front excellent were all correct, no wasted movement here. Won a strong class & went on to BOB; 2 Pirie’s Dejare King Of Dreams at Limasfault, again a youngster, this boy is very strong & has presence in a ring with his outlook & demeanour, no mistaking his sex & when he settled he moved well with good front extension, masculine head & expression, he is balanced & a lovely type & shape, just feeling the heat, but tried hard; 3 Bunney’s Bunehug Blessed N Bewitched; 4 Allensson & MacDonald’s Jasarat Salted Caramel of Macalldon. PG (4,1) Mead’s Ringmore Gigi at Jasbri, fawn bitch who is balanced with good front movement, balanced, feminine head with a good expression, again heat made her flag but she moved OK, good neck & shoulders, a good size & outline, she is the finished product; 2 Bass & Hall’s Shalfleet Zante Star at Silverfrith, f/w brindle. Just preferred the balance of 1’s head at present, as 1 has the maturity that this junior still needs but loved this youngster’s outlook & type, she is a good size & outline & moved so true, hindquarters are OK & she has a good depth of chest, again that lovely front movement I expect from the breed; 3 Meads’ Ringmore Gladius at Jasbri. O (4,2) 1 Meads’ Rockanor Silver Saphire at Jasbri, a big strong girl who I would like to be just slightly smaller all through, also would like just a couple of pounds off to advantage, head OK but a good neck & shoulders, good hindquarters & depth of chest, she is balanced & moved well to win the class & RBOB; 2 Bunney’s Jothryn Bjorne To Party with Bunehug, f/brindle bitch who is very feminine in outlook, good bone & feet, moved OK but back movement going away could have been better on the day, in lovely coat & condition & a pretty head & expression, lovely eye shape & well set ears. VARIETIES – MPD (11,5) 1 Williams’ Montelago Stars N’Stripes, sound moving Rottweiler baby whoo moved so well, lovely head & expression, good markings, good neck & shoulders, well boned legs & feet, good depth of chest & he is balanced, won a good class; 2 Ginger & Parkinson’s Jodeschi Great Gustnado, Smoothcoated Chihuahua, what a little showdog with a good head & expression, moved well on well boned legs & feet, in lovely conidition with good neck & shoulders, the weather never bothered him, he never stopped showed; 3 Pine’s Seowns Snoops, Irish Setter. MPB (14,6) 1 Cranfield’s Santanna Dazzling Spirit at Zefather, black masked fawn who is well grown at only 9 months, moved so soundly on well boned legs & feet, he is balanced & quality, excellent depth of chest, lovely neck & shoulders, beautiful head which only has to mature to finish, again another top specimen from this exhibitor; 2 Steventon’s Kystuno Jasappel, pretty Dalmatian bitch who moved so soundly, lovely type, feminine head & expression, well set & carried tail, good depth of chest, very balanced & a good size & type; 3 Teasdale’s Tonsarne Mysterious Mist, Affenpinscher. PD (10,5) 1 Cherryman’s Philoma Johnny Come Lately, smart black Miniature Schnauzer, moved so well, in excellent coat & condition, masculine head & expression, good neck & topline, well set tail, good depth of chest, he is balanced & quality, showed his socks off to win a good class; 2 Yorke & Keree-Bartolo’s Shirkeira Ragamuffin at Middletune, What a flashy young Shih Tzu, with a lovely head & expression, he is a lovely type who moved so well, in lovely coat & condition, he is balanced with a good neck & shoulders, good topline & well set tail; 3 Smith’s Lypal Well I Never, Pointer. PB (12,7) 1 Jones’ Clanwillow Centenary Hope, what a lovely young Basset with very clean eyes giving a beautiful expression & well set ears, lovely neck & shoulders & keel, good topline held set up & moving, well set & carried tail with a good hindquarters with nice pouches, in excellent coat & condition, she is balanced with a good length. Really impressed with this youngster; 2 Rhodes’ Khatibi Fluffanella at Calonlan, a quality Tibetan Terrier with a lovely head & expression, she is balanced with a good topline & well set tail, she is well coated & moved so well, of a good size & shape; 3 Foster’s Thozow I’d Do Anything, WHWT. VD (21,10) 1 Strudwick’s Sh Ch Downstream Fair And Square for Burpham, Flatcoated Retriever who I can’t believe he is now 7, he is sow masculine & balanced, in lovely coat & condition, excellent head & expression, good neck & shoulders, strong topline & good depth of chest with a strong loin, well set & carried tail, showed & moved well to win a top quality class, so pleased to have a chance to see him again; 2 Parsons’ Ch Syrdarya Hazelnut Hobnob at Shukriya, lovely Afghan again in excellent coat & condition, masculine head & expression, good neck & shoulders, strong topline & well set & carried ring tail, moved his profile movement & head carriage, well boned legs & feet, again from the top drawer & pleased to have the chance to judge him; 3 Beer & Tilley’s Ch Bellwaycharm Time Zone for Tilbe, Shih Tzu. How lucky am I to have these three champions in my veteran class, thank you. VB (20,8) 1 Barnes & King’s Ch Spellcast Talk To Da Tail, German Spitz Mittel, cream in excellent coat & condition, put down to the minute & showed her socks off, lovely head & expression, good topline & well set tail, moved well despite the heat, she is quality & a lovely type; 2 Whittington’s Tighness Tip The Wink, this over ten year old Shetland Sheepdog is a credit to her breed, she was in excellent coat & condition, loved her head & eye, used her ears to advantage, well made all through & when she moved, she covered the ground with ease & confidence, fought off the competition to win her place here; 3 Eardley’s Ryazan Perdita of Hillohawks, Borzoi.
