CHERTSEY & DISTRICT CS, April 19, 2019

Well done Chertsey on putting on a 277 class open show with only 5 committee members, it is hard enough with a full committee but so very difficult for you. I hope you are able to recruit some new members to help you keep the Club going. FINNISH LAPPHUNDS – P (0). O (2) 1 MacVicar Collingwood’s Elbereth Lumenlumo, beautiful bitch of quality, still young & needs to finish but the makings are there to end up a bitch of a lovely type. So very feminine in head & expression with a good eye & well set & carried ears, correct length of neck into well made shoulders, good topline leading to a well set & carried tail. In excellent coat & condition with good forechest & good height to length proportions. Although a small entry, this youngster could win in any company, pleased to have had the chance to go over her. BOB & G2; 2 Shalal Reilu Peli, this 9 year old bitch was in full coat & carried her tail down & up, both being correct. Lovely feminine head & expression, well set & carried ears, excellent hindquarters which, when she settled on the move, she used well. In excellent condition for age & really enjoying her day. RBOB. SHIH TZU – P (1) 1 Gray’s Ragabbey Cherry Opal, b/w super puppy bitch who is nearly a year old, pretty head which is just breaking nicely, she is very balanced, this quality youngster has a good neck & forequarters, good topline & ribcage, well set & carried tail, good hindquarters, moved so well & true, in excellent coat & condition, she just charmed me with her balance & type & lovely head that I couldn’t resist her & gave her BOB & BP. G (1) 1 Tod’s Cedarhythe Rumours Darlin at Kengai, g/w who was out of coat on the day but this only showed me how correctly made she is. Very feminine in head & expression with a good eye & well placed ears framing her head, good neck & shoulders, when she settled on the table she used her tail correctly but this nice feminine type moved well, there is certainly no mistaking her sex, enough ribcage & correct length to body with a nice loin & well made legs & feet. O (1) 1 Darewicz’s Tiziano Serenissima, deep red & white boy who is very masculine, he is balanced with a masculine head & expression, good eye & well set ears, he is well coated with the correct tail carriage, moved well covering the sand in the ring with no problem, showed well to take RBOB. RARE BREEDS – P (2,1a) 1 Atkins’ Qimugta Harpist, Canadian Eskimo Dog, who is just 6 months old, so when she set off her movement was erratic but she soon settled. In excellent coat & condition for her age, despite the heat, pretty head with the correct eye & well set ear which were well carried, strong topline with a good ribcage & loin, well set & carried tail. Excellent profile movement really using her well muscled hindquarters. Although alone, she is quality & can win anywhere. BP & RBOB. G (3,2) 1 Morgan’s Cotontastick Heresharley, sound moving Coton de Tulear, in excellent coat & condition, lovely head & expression, well balanced with a lovely forequarter and a good topline & tailset, very nice type who showed well. BOB. O (6,6). PASTORAL GROUP – G1 Barr’s Allmark Yogi Bear, quality Australian Shepherd in full coat & condition, typical head & expression with well set ears, this merle showed so well & moved with purpose looking particularly good in profile, he is balanced & a good prospect; G2 Elbereth Lumenlumo, the Finnish Lapphund; G3 Hartfield’s Moshanta Movin On, very typical bitch I have noticed before, she is very feminine who moved well in excellent coat & condition, she is balanced with a feminine head & expression; G4 Griggs’ Malandex Xpressly French for Emazenridge, well coated slate boy who is balanced with a strong topline & correctly carried tail, good pigment on his masculine head with good eye colouration & well set ears. PASTORAL PUPPY GROUP – PG1, White’s Wichahpi Angpetu, Groenendael who was also in the strong group, where she held her own. Nce type with good ears & a lovely expression, put down in a good coat which was well presented, moved soundly; PG2, Monks’ Bergeau Forever Starlight, loved this baby but is still unsettled on the move, absolute baby but he is quality, lovely head & expression, well made all through, when he learns his craft, I am sure he will have a good career.
