German Shorthaired Pointer – P 1 Coe’s Goosepoint Waddington at Abbanash, 11 mth old dog. Pleasing head with correct eye shape and colour. Strong neck into nicely constructed body of decent depth. Quality bone and moving purposefully on beautiful feet. Very promising. BOB & BP; 2 Robertson’s Kazanpaul Australia, bitch of almost 12 mths and still a bit raw. Feminine head and adequate reach of neck and correct body proportions. In beautiful condition and with tight feet. Could not match the movement of 1 today. G & O 1 Long’s Boarderoak Dill Cowslip 4 yr old dog. Typical in head, I would prefer better reach of neck and stronger front construction but in hard condition and moving at one with his handler. RBOB. Hungarian Vizsla – P 1 Challis’ Vizlanya Aragonia 7 mth old dog, excels in head with correct bite, eye shape and colour. Lovely reach of neck, prominent fore chest and soundly made. Moved OK when settled. RBOB & BP; 2 Emmott’s Roughshoot Maggie May, 6 mth old bitch, promising but not co-operating today. Pretty feminine head and with everything in the right place with lovey bone and feet. G 1 Walford’s Piroskutya Delphinus, pretty 2 yr old old bitch. Pleasing head and expression. Would prefer stronger angulation fore and aft but in good condition with sufficient bone and moving on tight feet. O 1 Challis’ Highforce Future Legend of Vizslanya, 3 yr old dog. Appealing head with correct eye shape and colour. Excelling in front construction with good reach of neck and prominent fore chest. Sound all through with quality bone I liked him very much. BOB; 2 Warnes’ Debian Domination, 3 yr old dog. Pleasing head, expression and eye colour. Nicely proportioned with good depth of body but moving slightly proud of his tail today; 3 Walford’s Debian Daneeka. Italian Spinone – P 1 Hope’s Stagerun Peregrine, 6 mth old dog. A raw baby with lovely expression and correct bite. Everything in the right place but a little overcome by the proceedings today. Very promising. BP. PG 1 Allum’s Macarica Toscanini, bitch 20 mths, pleasing head with correct bite, strong neck into well made body with good depth. In correct jacket she moved well. RBOB; 2 Mortimer’s Scodinzolare Perlascenti, bitch of 22 mths. Pretty head and pleasing expression with nice make and shape. Moved OK and very well presented, I felt 1 was more finished. O 1 Allum’s Macarica Hugo, dg of 20 mths, masculine head with kind expression and correct bite. Strong neck into soundly made body with nice depth. In his best jacket and with typical movement BOB. Pointer – P 1 ‘s Pipeaway Dreams Afyre in Merynjen, 11 mth Bitch. Lovely head and good reach of neck, good depth of body and soundly constructed with tight feet and sufficient bone. BP; 2 Henshaw’s Sharnphilly Vice Versa with Peteshe, 10 mth dog. Appealing make and shape with quality bone and moving on tight feet. Not the depth of 1 at present but I am sure this will come. J 1 Wilkins’ Wilchrimane Iced White for Lottieboo, 14 mth bitch with pretty head and well put together with sound movement, adequate bone and tight feet. PG 1 Henshaw’s Penbro Under Pressure with Peteshe, 4 yr old dog. Appeals in head and eye with OK construction and adequate bone. Moved out well on nice tight feet. RBOB; 2 Wilkins’ Wilchrimane Cherry Flip eith Lottieboo, pretty Bitch of 25 mths. Typical head with good reach of neck and well put together. Would prefer more of her but with adequate bone, tight feet. O 1 Isherwood’s Symistry Iced Ginger, very typy 4 yr old bitch. Correct head and bite. Good length of neck into soundly constructed body with correct depth. Well let down rear, in hard muscular condition and moving well. BOB. LABRADOR – P 1 Baker & Judd’s Harpitts True Spirit, 8 mth masculine headed dog without any coarseness and good strong neck into a chunky body with quality bone and well padded feet. Fluid mover. BP; 2 Coode’s Warringah’s Opossum Bay, 6 mth old Dog. A promising happy puppy, soundly put together with good bone and feet. Had obviously been enjoying the sun which held him back today; 3 Mills’ Trendlewood Day Dreaming. J 1 Hoban’s Meadowleigh Black In Style, 16 mth old Bitch. Feminine head with correct eye shape and colour. Strong neck into soundly constructed body not exaggerated in anyway. Showing herself off to advantage and wearing her best jacket. RBOB; 2 Harvey-Major’s Linjor The Cover Girl, 15 mth old bitch. Pretty head with kind expression and good pigment. Strong neck and well put together with much to like. I just preferred the rear angulation of 1. N 1 Hawkin’s Highland Summer, 10 mth old happy black bitch with some maturing to do as you would expect at this age, but with everything in the right place and has time on her side. G 1 Harvey-Major’s Linjor The Cover Girl; 2 Wallace’s Tiaja Love In The Sun, bitch of 21 mths. Standing she looked very typical with feminine head and balanced body, but was difficult to assess due her exuberance. PG 1 Harvey-Major & Robin’s My Linjor Des Landes D’Eole, 3 year old masculine headed dog with correct bite. Adequate neck into correctly proportioned body with moderate angulation all through and moving well but would prefer lower tail carriage on the move. O 1 Hoban’s Meadowleigh Romantic Quest, 4 yr old bitch with feminine head, correct eye shape and colour, neat well set ears. Strong neck and front construction, body of pleasing proportions and depth. Moderate rear angulation really looked a picture with her gleaming coat. BOB; 2 Mills’ Linjor Magnolia at Jaybec, 6 yr old bitch. Typical in head with neat ears and adequate neck. Good body proportions and moving well. Does not have the bone of the class winner; 3 Wallace’s Tiaja American Dream. NOVA SCOTIA DUK TOLLER – G 1 Hipkiss’ Redaurora Comet’s Christmas of Deltandamba, 8 yr old bitch in great condition. Adequate angles all through, happy and moving well. Sympathetically handled. RBOB. O Hipkiss’ Erikachen O’Ruadh for Deltandamba, 4 yr old dog. Very typical in head and soundly put together. A nice size and a positive, happy mover in lovely condition. BOB. AMERICAN COCKER – P 1 Murray’s Totem De La Chance, 8 mth old dog with pleasing head eye and expression. Correct bite and well put together. Moved soundly for his age and sympathetically handled. BP. G 1 Murray’s Kellicious Nebraska Knight, dog of 21 mths. Appealing head and soundly made which was highlighted when he powered round the ring. Handled to advantage RBOB; 2 Woolley’s Chesvik Top If You Wish You Can at Challeymead, pretty 13mth old bitch. Immaculately presented, and well put together, she couldn’t match the movement of the winner today; 3 Rivett’s Leader Line Indi. O 1 Luczynski’s Baladeva Scarlet Letters for Kanara, 2 yr old bitch in full bloom. Feminine head with appealing expression, well put together, a happy and sound mover. Topped off by excellent presentation. BOB; 2 Rivett’s Gennawell Black Knight, 7 year old dog masculine headed with much to like but not in his best jacket today. COCKER SPANIEL – 1 Green & Brian’s Cachel Pop The Question to Meloneras, 6 mth old dog. Appealing head with kind expression and good reach of neck into strong front construction. Nice square outline with pleasing rear angles. Sound and merry on the move. BP & PG1; 2 Hutchings’ Pinkmoon Pippin by Beechtops, 10 mth old bitch. Lovely head and expression with good reach of neck and well put together not the topline of 1 but moving soundly; 3 Donald’s Charmwen Fairy Dust for Sweetways. PG 1 Parkhouse’s Shivani Summer Breeze, 19 mth old bitch. Feminine headed with kind eye and pleasing length of neck. Well put together and moving very soundly; 2 Hutchings’ Beechtops Golden Ticket, 3 yr old dog. Masculine head without any coarseness. Well made all through and looking very impressive in full coat but affected by the surface of the menage when moving. O 1 Parkhouse’s Sandlauga Magic Spell for Shivani, 3 yr old dog. Handsome head and good length of neck into well made body. Presents a square outline and moved correctly. A sound and merry showman. BOB; 2 Hutching’s Beechtops Majestic, 4 yr old bitch. Pretty head with appealing eye, not the top line of the winner but well put together and moving OK. AVNSC GUNDOG – P 1 Harding’s Kingsmist Miss Marple (Field Sp) Beautiful head with correct eye shape and colour. Strong neck into correct body assembly. Pleasing movement and well handled. BP; 2 Critchley’s Braccorions Never Say Never (Bracco) 11 mth old bitch. Typical in head, with straight front and quality bone. Good depth of body and sound on the move. 3 Wareham & Dustan Buckfarm in the Buff (Clumber Sp). G 1 Stirk’s Gloi Donn Believe in Angels Above Grakar (IWS) 13 mth Bitch. Really caught my eye. So carefully schooled and soundly constructed with so much ring presence. I really liked her, just needs time to complete the picture. RBOB; 2 Humphries’ Spyefire Secret Agent (Irish R&W Setter) 19 mth old dog. Pleasing head and good reach of neck. Adequate angles fore and aft, he needs time to complete the picture; 3 Wareham & Dunstan Lornajoe General Gilbert (Clumber Sp). O 1 Stone’s Stedigan All in Good Time for Merrem (WSS) 5 year old dog with masculine head with neat ears, kind eye and expression. Correct length of neck into well laid shoulders. Pleasing type with good angles front and rear, presents a lovely outline with nothing overdone. BNSC; 2 Stirk’s Gloi Donn Believe In Angels above Grakar. IMPORTED REGISTER – P 1 Thurlow’s Watereatons Fortuna (Korthals Griffon) 11 mth Bitch, typical in head with correct bite, well made and of a nice size with correct coat and displaying sound effortless movement. BP. G 1 Thurlow’s Watereatons Elemiah (Korthals Griffon) 14 mth Bitch. Pleasing head with correct bite and good length of neck. Adequately constructed, I would prefer a courser coat but sympathetically handled and moved well. O 1 McDougal’s Novaforesta Dora at Charamese (Barbet) 10yr Bitch. Correct head and well made all through. Beautifully presented and such a sound mover for a bitch of this age. BIR; 2 McDougal’s Charamese Hector, 6 yr Dog. Nice make and shape, typical all through but unable to match the movement of his kennel mate today. RBOB; 3 Thurlow’s Watereatons Choas (Korthals Griffon). ANY VARIETY – P 1 Hill Sandaula This Will Do (Golden) 9 mth Bitch of correct size. Pretty head with kind eye and expression. Lovely pigmentation. Pleasing length of neck into correctly made body, well handled still raw on the move as you would expect at this age; 2 Mills’ Trendlewood Day Dreaming 10 mth Bitch who moved a lot better in this class than her previous one. Pretty head with strong neck into well put together body; 3 McWilliams’ Fernstone Lapis Lazuli (Cocker Span). V 1 Collier’s Sh Ch Belatarr Mahalia Jackson ShCM (Wire Vizsla) 7 yr Bitch. Such an ambassador for the breed with her correctly proportioned head, kind eye and expression. Good length of neck into very soundly constructed body with correct jacket and in hard condition; 2 Isherwood’s Pipaway Satin Fire with Symitry 9 yr Bitch. Very Pretty with feminine head and good reach of neck into well made body. Really moving well and enjoying her showing delightful to see; 3 Jolley’s Wansleydale Tribute to Jolymore (Eng Setter). GUNDOG GROUP – G1 Labrador; 2 Collier’s Belatarr North By Northwest (Wire Vizsla) 4 yr very typy dog with masculine head and beautiful expression, soundly made and in hard condition aiding sound movement; 3 Millbank’s Kvicksans Eye Of The Storm of Larksdown (FCR) 5 yr Dog.
