Chihuahuas 

I would like to thank the committee for offering me this appointment and their hospitality on the day. Thank you to all the exhibitors for allowing me to go over their dogs.

Junior 5 (1)

1st Rooney’s Parisland The Gigolo With Yorone. Alert cream boy with a saucy expression. Well rounded skull with large flaring ears which he used at all times. Lean cheeks, moderately short muzzle and definite stop. Straight forelegs set well under chest. Level topline and sickle tail. Good turn of stifle and moved with drive. BOB. Was lovely to hear he went Best in Show! 2nd Platek’s Tinasjoy Dark Destroyer. Another lovely boy. Apple domed head. Good breadth between ears. Large dark eyes, definite stop and good dentition. Slightly arched neck. Level topline on the move but didn’t always hold it on the stand. RBOB.

1st Berrington’s Ellochi’s Audacity JW. Pretty cream girl who never stopped showing. Typical Chihuahua expression. Large flaring ears, round eyes and a definite stop. Mouth could be better. Arched neck, level topline and lovely tailset. Sickle tail carried up and over. Brisk forceful action. 2nd Stangoe’s Zoya’s Kingdom Fifth Element At Stanghurst. A small, dainty compact boy who was not as confident As the 1st. domed head with well set flaring ears. Large dark eyes, nice length muzzle and definite stop. Good mouth. Medium length neck and level topline. Moved with force.

1st Berringtons Ellochi Crazy Nights For Pappersley JW. I have had the pleasure of judging this boy before. Nice rounded skull, lean cheeks and a nice length muzzle. Dark eyes, nice mouth and definite stop. Deep chest, good spring of rib and level topline. Would have liked better rear movement. 2nd Stangoe’s Mona Liza Ot Vanilnoy Luny At Stanghurst. I really liked this red girl but she was not showing the best. Typical domed head and saucy expression. Definite stop and good dentition. Level topline. Lovely back movement.

1st Stangoe’s Stanghurst Cry Me A River. 13 month fawn boy with a lovely domed head, flaring ears and typical Chihuahua expression. Round eyes, deep stop and good mouth. Arched neck, level topline and good tail carriage. Moved with drive around the ring. RBOB. 2nd Holmes Rushwardens Truly Unruly. 7 month old boy who wasn’t very confident. Large ears, nice dark eyes and pigment. Good reach of neck and level topline. Sickle tail when he held it up. A little out at the shoulders but he is still a baby. BPIB.

None of the exhibits in this class showed very well. Both had their tails down. 1st Holmes Cazants Bebe. Large round eyes, flaring ears and nice length of muzzle. Good dentition. A little stuffy in neck. Good spring of rib, level topline and well set tail. Moved well around the ring. 2nd Smith’s Valenchino Delicate Of Hulawawas. A little harsh in expression. Correct mouth and dark pigment. Sickle tail when he held it up.

1st Stangoe’s Stanghurst Strike A Pose. I loved this girl as soon as she walked in. A little pocket rocket. Gay and spirited. Large flaring ears set well on a domed skull .Big round eyes, definite stop and correct mouth. Good reach of neck, straight forelegs, dainty feet and level topline. Her body was small and compact. Sickle tail that she wagged at all times. Good turn of stifle. Moved with drive. BOB. 2nd Stangoe’s Spindlepoint Noel Coward At Stanghurst. Another lovely exhibit. Apple domed skull> Good breadth between the ears. Lovely dark pigment and moderate length muzzle. Deep brisket and level topline. Tail was slightly off.
