Llanelli & District Canine Society 9th November 2019 

Many thanks to the officers and committee for their invitation to judge this show and to my steward. Thanks to the exhibitors who supported the society’s first Limited Show. 

American Cocker Spaniel  

Open 1st Jones Alkimadus Ruben James – 4 year old buff dog, dark eye, correct scissor bite, good reach of neck into good lay of shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed back, moved well from strong muscled rear. BOB 

Cocker Spaniel  

Open 1st Fleetwood Sonham Blue Bailey – just over a year old male blue roan, dark eye giving a lovely expression, scissor bite, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders & upper arm, well sprung ribs, cobby & compact, short loin, well angulated muscled rear used to advantage on the move, well presented, pleased to see him go onto best in show. BOB & group 1. 

 2nd Davies Trinant Mint Humbug – black & white bitch, similar comments to 1st though longer in cast then 1st. 

Golden Retriever Open  

1st Thompson Caffimbra Gypsy Spirit – 18 month old bitch, dark eye giving a lovely kind expression, correct scissor bite, good reach of neck, good lay of shoulder & upper arm, good length of ribbing, moved out well. BOB 

Irish Setter  

Open 1st Webb Redeshka Sweet Gypsy Rose – 5 year old bitch, beautiful head, lovely dark eyes, correct bite, good reach of neck into good shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed, gently sloping topline, well set tail, moved out well. BOB & group 4  

Labrador Retriever 

Open 1st Phillips Carpenny Velvet At Sheenaron – 5 year old yellow bitch, dark eye, correct scissor bite, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed, strong muscular rear, lovely tight feet. BOB & group 2  

Pointer  

Open 1st Fleetwood Millpoint Simply I Catching – 3 year old bitch, lovely expression from this girl, dark eye, correct scissor bite, good reach of neck into lovely shoulder & upper arm, well sprung ribs, short loin, good topline into correct tailset, covers ground from strong muscular rear. Bob & Group 3 

Border Collie 

Junior 1st Meisterwerk Skomer – 18 month old dog, well presented black & white, correct scissor bite, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed back, short loin, muscular rear. Bob & group 3 

Rough Collie  

Open 1st Flower Serenlas Heaven In Blu – 18 month old bitch, well presented, not over exaggerated, correct scissor bite, well laid shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed, moved out well from muscular rear. BoB & group 2 

2nd Corben Caprioara Prince Of Thieves – similar comments to 1st, not as confident unfortunately. 

Cardigan Welsh Corgi  

Junior 1st Evans Cragen Or Mor Of Lidoffad – brindle bitch, lovely expression, good reach of neck, correct scissor bite, moved out well enjoying her day. BOB & puppy group 2 

Pembroke Welsh Corgi  

Open 1st Morgan Jahshaus All That Jazz At Davalis ShCM – 8 year old dog, correct scissor bite, good topline & upperarm, good topline, moved out well, in fantastic condition. BOB & group 4 

AVNSC Pastoral  

Puppy 1st Davies Arminhazi Zengo (NAF TAF)-Hungarian Puli, 6 month old, correct bite, well laid shoulder & upper arm, level topline, really well angulated rear, moved out well, very promising puppy I’ll watch with interest. Puppy group 1 

Open 1st Davies Arminhazi Juhar (Imp Hun) – Hungarian Puli, my notes say wow, similar to the puppy in previous class, correct dentition, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder & upper arm, level topline, moved out really well from a strong rear, well corded. BAVNSC & Group 1 

2nd Jones Morolwg Lorenzo Group – 3 year old male, masculine, correct bite, lovely expression, good reach of neck, good shoulder & upper arm, moved ok, would have benefited from a bigger ring.  

Border Terrier  

Open 1st Davies Ianteg Pink Porche – 16 month old bitch, beautiful otter head, dark expression, correct dentition, good harsh coat, good shoulder & upper arm, ok topline, moved out well. BOB & group 1 

Jack Russell  

Open 1st Huseby & Bailey Hunter Hawk Clare – 4 year old red & white bitch, pretty headed, correct dentition, good reach of neck, good forequarters, well ribbed, level topline, well presented. BOB & group 2  

AVNSC Terrier 

Open 1st Jones Jacott Dancers Welsh Beauty – 9 month old bitch, correct dentition, full of character, good reach of neck, good forequarters, well sprung ribbes, short loin, moved out well. Bavnsc, Group 3 & Puppy Group 1
