Veteran Dog

1st -Colton P. – SODALITAS HIGH HAVOC OVER ENNYDLOC. 9 years old orange belton of substance with dark eyes in masculine head, well laid shoulder, level topline, good bone, well turned stifle, neat feet and finished with a lashing tail.

2nd – Mr P. Mellish – GEMSETT POLE POSITION FOR MONBREC 7 year old dark blue belton with pleasing head and expression with the darkest of eyes. Well off for bone, good shoulder layback and lashing tail. Moved a little close behind.

Junior Dog

1st and BJIS Mr A. Taylor and J. Atyeo – SAMELEN COME BACK SPECIAL. 17 month old blue belton with a lean head and the darkest of eyes. Soft expression and square muzzle. Reachy neck into well laid shoulders, level topline, pronounced forechest. Presents a balanced outline, good tailset and neat catlike feet. In good coat and condition.\

2nd – Mrs G.M. Kelly – CORNSETT THE WISE ONE. 13 month old light blue belton and tan. Good bone with attractive head, balanced in outline. Would prefer a stronger topline and neater feet. Moved well.

Novice Dog

1st-  Mrs G.M. Kelly – CORNSETT THE WISE ONE. Second in Junior Dog

Undergraduate Dog

1st – Mr A. Taylor and J  Atyeo – SAMELEN COME BACK SPECIAL. First in Junior Dog

2nd – Mrs J. Wilson and John Wilson – RAVENSETT GIOVANNI. Dark eyed orange belton with lean head. Good shoulders and level topline. Lighter in bone than (1) Needs to mature and fill out at this stage.

Graduate Dog

1st – Mr P Mellish – WATTLEWOOD SILVER ARROW TO MONBREC. Dark blue belton with balanced outline, good round bone. Balanced head with soft expression and dark eyes. Reachy neck into good shoulders, level topline and deep brisket. Short tail used on the move. Would prefer neater feet.

Post Graduate Dog

1st – Mrs C. Felton Blythe – FELSETT BUGATTI BLUE. Dark eyed boy with masculine head, lean neck into reasonable shoulders. Excellent return of upper arm giving great forward reach. Level topline and deep brisket. Moved a little narrow behind and a little proud of his tail on the day.

Limit Dog

1st – Mr A. Taylor and J. Atyeo – -SAMELEN HARRIS TWEED. Orange belton - compact with balanced outline, good bone, strong in topline, good layback of shoulders and short tail. Would prefer tighter feet. Old fashioned head - lean with correct dark oval eyes which I like to see in in orange beltons.

Open Dog

1st , BD and BIS- Mrs S. and Miss E. Loynd – Sh. Ch. CRIMBLEDALE SEA THE SKIES JW, ShCM. Well known dark blue belton dog with lovely head and the darkest of eyes. Excellent setter temperament - so happy on the move. Good shoulder placement, level topline, excellent bone finished by lashing tail action. Excellent return of upper arm balanced by good length and bend of stifle which he used to good effect driving from the rear with forward reach in the front. Happy to award him Best in Show.

2nd, RBD and RBIS – Mrs A. Derry and Mr P. Schoneville – HAWKLAWN KHAMSIN AT BALVENIE JW. Up and coming orange belton with fabulous head, long neck into well laid shoulders. Level topline and lashing tail. Moved well but not the reach of (1). Pleased to award him Reserve Best in Show.

3rd – Mrs and Mr Stella and David Oliver – BRAMSTORM OBERON

Puppy Bitch

1st and BPIS – Mrs and Mr Stella and David Oliver – BRAMSTORM SPECKLED WOOD. What a delightful puppy! Light blue belton and tan with attractive head and dark eyes. Well rounded bone and good body properties with depth of brisket and well rounded ribcage. Lovely and broad through turn of stifle and the neatest of feet. Moved well once she got the hang of it !

Veteran Bitch

1st – Mrs S and Miss E Loynd – RICHECCA SEA THE STARS AT CRIMBLEDALE ShCM. One I have judged before. Fabulously headed dark blue belton with the darkest of oval eyes. Super bone, level topline, neat feet balanced by return of upper arm and length of stifle. Moved well with lashing tail.

Junior Bitch

1st – Mrs S. Jones – ALOFRANA N’ALL THAT JAZZ. Orange belton with a lovely head but would prefer a darker eye. Reasonable bone, level topline with tail well set on. Excellent cat like feet. Would prefer more length and return of upper arm but rear construction was excellent with good width over the thighs.

Maiden Bitch

2nd – Mrs A.L. Golby – WANSLEYDALE COINTREAU FOR SHADYMORE. Lovely headed orange belton with dark eyes. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline, deep in brisket, neat feet. Moved well. So sad to see an accident led to her having her tail amputated.

3rd – Mr and Mrs B. Williams – SKIPPIT SKY FULL OF STARS

Post Graduate Bitch

Excellent return of upper arm, deep in brisket well ribbed up with breadth over the loin. Broad through the thigh.Tail used to advantage on the move. Pleased to award her Best Bitch in Show.

2nd – Mrs and Mr Stella and David Oliver – BRAMSTORM TAPESTRY JW. Pretty bitch with dark eyes. Good body properties with depth of brisket and well rounded ribs,well off for bone, short in rear pasterns and neatest of feet. Not the upper arm of (1) and a slight rise over the loin. Happy on the move.
