Gordon Setter – Puppy (2):

1ST Crowther, Mrs, Ronaldsbill Sparkler: Puppy bitch of just 8 months, very well balanced, good head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, clean neck into well placed shoulders, good width to chest, neat feet, moved well. Best Puppy

2nd Bain, Mrs L, Palangor Moonlight Echo At Pangarak: Dog of 9 months, of good type, very good head with defined stop, balanced all through, neat feet, clean, correct and complete dentition, good forehand assembly just not together as well as first placed exhibit when moving, needed to settle and probably more ring space.

Gordon Setter – Post Graduate (2, 1 Abs):

1ST Hamilton-Smith, Mrs S, Kilnrae Signature Over Samsett: Dog of 2 years of age, upstanding and very well balanced, excellent head and expression, strong neck into well placed shoulders, deep chest, strong loin and well muscled hindquarters. Moved very well. Best Of Breed

Gordon Setter – Open (1):

1ST Crowther, Mrs, Hernwood Stellasirework: 31/2 year old bitch of good proportions, Good head with correct, clean and complete dentition. Clean neck into well placed shoulders. Deep chest. Not holding topline as well as I would prefer. Moved well.

Irish Setter – Post Graduate (2):

1ST Stevens, Mrs H, Follybrook Millenium Star: 5 year old dog, well built but balanced, good head with correct, clean and complete dentition. Long neck into well placed shoulders, deep chest and well muscled hindquarters, moved well.

2ND Stevens, Mrs H, Follybrook Manhattan Star: 5 year old bitch, upstanding and eye catching when stacked, feminine head and expression, correct and complete dentition, clean neck, adequate bone, neat feet. For me, the rib loin proportions were of optimum length if not slightly too long, which produced some very odd hind movement.

Irish Setter – Open (1):

1ST Ashley-Turner, Ms A, Jonola Moonshine: What a lovely young dog of just 3 years of age, presented in excellent condition, good substance and extremely well balanced all through. The best of heads, dark brown eyes, correct, clean and complete dentition strong clean neck into well placed shoulders and corresponding return of upper arm, quality bone the neatest of feet with short nails, deep chest into strong loin and well made hindquarters, moved very well. Best Of Breed

Pointer – Puppy (3):

1ST Harrison, Mrs J M, Millpoint Soundwave: 8 month bitch of excellent proportions and type and extremely well balanced. Very good head and skull. Dentition correct, clean and complete, muscular and slightly arched neck. Well placed shoulders and corresponding return of upper arm. Short coupled, muscular hindquarters, well turned stifles and hocks well let down, coat short and hard. Smooth movement covering plenty of ground with driving hind action (Once Settled). Extremely well handled. Best Puppy, Reserve Best Of Breed and Puppy Group 3

2ND Stilgoe, Mr P R & Mrs D E, Olivesong Chase The Memory To Teisgol: Dog of 10 months of age just going through that development stage, but balanced all through typical head with correct, clean and complete dentition, clean neck good bone, correct forehand assembly neat feet moved well.

3RD Layton, Master S J, Joneva Born To Thrill

Pointer – Yearling (5):

1ST Scholes, Mr R M, Wilchrmane Tea For Two With Rossgilde: Quality dog, extremely well balanced with very good bone and substance, Very good head and skull. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Muscular and slightly arched neck. Correct layback of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm, chest deep, brisket to level with elbows. Well muscled hindquarters, coat short. Moved extremely well, Best Of Breed and Gundog Group 1

2ND Fox, Stilgoe & Stilgoe, Mrs L, Mr P & Mrs D, Alcazar Bewildered Of Dappeline: Bitch of 20 months of age, of lovely type and balance, She has a good head and skull, correct, clean and complete dentition, very good forehand assembly, deep chest, well angulated hindquarters that produced the movement that I was looking for from her and this breed.

3RD Anthony, Mrs J L, Jilony Iris.

2ND Collins, Mr D T & Mrs J A, Collholme John Paul: Upstanding dog, well made and balanced all through, Good head with correct, clean and complete dentition. Deep chest well placed shoulders. Strong hindquarters. Quality bone and the very best of feet. Moved very well.

Pointer – Open (2, 1abs):

1ST Anthony, Mrs J L, Jilony Ola: 2 year old bitch of pleasing quality and balance all through, good head with correct, clean and complete dentition. Clean slightly arched neck into well placed shoulders. Deep chest with good width. Strong bone with neat feet. Moved very well.

Golden Retriever – Puppy (1):

1ST Hill, Miss P & Mrs S, Sandaula This Will Do (Ai) What a beautiful young bitch of just 9 months of age. Presented a stunning picture when stacked and did not disappoint when being individually assessed. A quality bitch. Super feminine head with a melting expression. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Correct layback of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Deep brisket and good length of ribcage. Well made hindquarters with excellent bone and the very neatest of feet and shortest of nails. She moved very well with good open side gait when viewed in profile. In excellent coat and very good condition. BP

Golden Retriever – Yearling (7, 1abs):

1ST Booth, Mr G & Mrs J F, Rocamoka Wind Dreamer: Bitch of just 21 months in super condition and extremely well presented. Super feminine head with the softest of expressions. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Clean strong neck into very good layback of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm Well ribbed leading to strong loin of optimum length and well muscled hindquarters. Quality bone all through, tight neat feet with short nails. Moved extremely well, accurate both fore and aft and demonstrating and excellent open side gate. BOB 

2ND Gowland & Gibbons, Miss P & Mr P, Tamara Von Schnellenberge For Remington (IMP DEU): 12 months of age balanced and very well made all through, super head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition. Excels in forehand assembly. Level topline. Moderate hind angulation. Excellent bone and feet. Moved accurately both fore and aft. RBOB

3RD Birkin-Green, Mrs S, Sansue Lovestruck

Golden Retriever - Post Graduate (7):

1ST Haigh, Mrs M N, Choriand Chiquitita: I really struggled to find what I was looking for in this class, and when I did it disappointed me, so I was left to compromise type with construction and movement. This does not in any way detract from my class winner, which was a 2 year old bitch, well balanced throughout. Feminine head and expression. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Clean neck into well placed shoulders. Deep chest. Shorter in rib and longer in loin than I would prefer. Strong hindquarters. Moved accurately fore and aft.

2ND Archer, Miss P, Haydengold Rock Star At Sunandair JW: 19 month male. Masculine head with dark eye. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Strongly made all through with very good bone and feet. Good forehand assembly. As with the winner I would prefer more length of rib and less length of loin. Moved soundly.

3RD Birkin-Green, Mrs S, Sansue Lovestruck

2ND Clarke, Mrs F, Haydengold One More Knight: Upstanding masculine male. Typical head with dark eye. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Muscular neck into well placed shoulders. Deep chest with good width. Strong hindquarters. Quality bone with neat feet. Moved well.
