Otterhound : Jun (1) : 1 & R.B.O.B. Lewis’s Blue Fairys Ticket To Ride To Concasa’s Olphae this young bitch has a nicely domed head with correct strong & deep muzzle, good eye & long pendulous ears, long & strong in neck, forelegs have good bone. In body she still needs time to develop, good top line, stands well in the rear, tail well set & carried on move, in good muscular hard condition.

P. Grad (2-1bs) : 1 & B.O.B. Lewis’s Olphae Charman, just a junior male but was most impressed with his sound movement, most pleasing in head shape & balance with super strong jaw & good dentition, strong in neck leading to a good front with strong bone in his forelegs, in excellent body for young age, good depth to chest & lovely oval rib cage, loin short & strong, super top line well held, balanced on stack & did not disappoint on the move, easy free stride, has good feet & tapering tail which he carries correctly, in profuse coat of correct textures, nice hard muscular condition. He was giving his handler a hard time on stack but all came together on the move. Delighted to later see him take group 2.

Open (5-2abs) : 1, Lerego & Smith’s Ch. Teckelgarth Maximus very impressive and mature 6 yr old male, liked him a lot but even though moved soundly fore & aft thought the youngsters were covering more ground today & he seemed distracted in the challenge. Bamsey’s Carliams Witching Hour, raw young b but oozing in breed type & confidence, most impressive on the move for one so young, has a long & flat skull with well fitting lips on a strong jaw, ears v shaped, well set & carried, fair in length of neck with no throatiness, shoulders are well laid back, good bone, body still developing but of nice proportions, well shaped feet, strong in rear & her hocks are well let down, tail correctly set & carried on move, coat just developing but is of correct texture, excellent mover. Redman’s Holbam Celtic Little Minx, particularly liked her profile picture, has a well shaped head with correct eye & expression, well set v shaped ears, in good body for young age, chest is deep & not wide, strong in loin, well arched toes & neat feet, in good coat & muscular condition, tail of good length & well set ; 2 Bamsey’s Holbam Celtic Wizard, young male who I thought would take the class but seemed very distracted & when moving his mind was not on the job today. I do think a bitch in season had been in the ring prior to my breeds being judged. Well shaped in head with good ear set, nice v shape. Strong in neck & has a good front, deep in chest & firm in loin, strong & muscular in hindquarters, tail well set & carried, correct double coat ; 3 Jones’s Montelle Sweet Dream.

Has an excellent double coat of the best texture, well furnished & presented to perfection. Loved her eye & expression, well set & carried v shaped ears, strong jaw & correct strong dentition, fair in length of neck leading to excellent shoulder which are well laid back, deep & muscular in chest with good depth, strong in loin, good feet & tail well set & carried on move, she never put a foot wrong today & was delighted to later watch her take group 1. The icing on the cake was a to learn she returned the following day and was awarded B.I.S.
