P (4,1) 1 Lee-Morris’ Michandy Back In Time at Pupstar (Min Poodle) BP. Smart miniature poodle, up to size for a male but nicely balanced with good reach of neck, good layback of shoulder, straight front, enough depth of chest, good bend of stifle, well carried tail. Pleasing head with flat cheeks, correct stop, dark almond shaped eyes, giving alert expression. Beautifully presented and moved with style. 2 Beer & Tilley’s Miracey Sand Warrior for Tilbe (Shih Tzu). G/w particoloured boy with a pleasing outline. Broad skull, large dark eye, square muzzle and nice head furnishings giving desired expression. Well angulated forequarters, good depth of chest, level topline, correct tail carriage, moved with drive from strong hindquarters. 3 Dalstorm Heart Of A King (Dalmatian)

J (5,1) 1 Michandy Back In Time at Pupstar. 2 Young’s Lotsmoor Sunshine (Min Poodle). Apricot, very feminine bitch, nice shape and size with a strong neck of good length, straight front, level topline, lovely rear angulation, good tail set. Pretty head with nicely chiselled foreface, moderate stop, flat cheeks, good eye shape and placement. She moved very soundly in all directions, just needs time to develop in body. 3 Healey & Wheaton’s Hebemor Ruby Tiger from Acinonyx (Dalmatian)

PG (7,0) 1 Lacey & Mallory’s Albionspitz Rigel (Eurasier) BOB. Judged this boy as a puppy and he has fulfilled his early promise. He was very out of coat on the day which held him back in the group, but it shows off his lovely shape. He has a well muscled neck, moderately angulated forequarters, good depth of chest, firm straight back, slight tuck up, strong hindquarters and high set tail. Good wedge shaped head with flat skull, parallel planes, dark oval eye, and medium sized ears, always attentive to his handler. Moved well. 2 Sumaiya Dee Jai (Dalmatian). Very feminine bitch with a lovely outline, stood foursquare at all times. Nicely arched neck, well angulated fore and aft, good spring of rib, level back, well carried tail of good length with upward curve. Pleasing head and expression, flat skull, moderate stop, strong muzzle, good mouth. Moved very soundly. 3 Lotsmoor Sunshine

O (3,0) 1 Drew’s Izlou Peanut Passion (German Spitz (Mittel)) RBOB. Eye catching bitch, lovely for size and nicely balanced with a gleaming black coat. Straight front with good bone, adequate layback of shoulder and length of upper arm, good ribcage, level topline, well set and carried tail. Good wedge head with correct balance of skull to muzzle, dark eyes and well set ears. Showed alertly for her handler and movement was smooth and effortless. 2 Tofield’s Rapanooey Solar Solstice (Dalmatian). Vey masculine boy, nicely marked. Strong muscular neck, well laid shoulders, straight front, good depth of chest, level back, good bend of stifle, well muscled. His head is balanced with a flat skull, strong muzzle, smooth cheeks and dark oval eye. Just preferred the movement of 1st on the day. 3 Shirkeira Razmatazz (Shih Tzu)

Lhasa Apsos

J (3, 2 abs) 1 Saunders’ Montrabella Limit Edition for Bellellen BP. 6 ½ month puppy, nice for size with a balanced outline. Feminine head with correct balance of skull to muzzle, dark oval eye, good mouth and chin, well arched neck, good layback of shoulder, level topline, good hind angulation, well set and carried tail. Moved well with good reach in profile.

PG (2,0) 1 Gillman’s Bellellen Magic Mike with Mytilene. I was splitting hairs in this class, I just preferred the more compact body and outline of 1st. His head is balanced with a medium stop, nice eye shape and placement, good underjaw all combining to give desired expression. He is of ideal size with a good neck flowing into well laid shoulders, straight front, good ribcage, level topline, good tail set and very well angulated hindquarters, so moved soundly. 2 Sutcliffe’s Newcliffe Kia-Ora JW. Another of good breed type, his huge coat tends to disguise his shape, but underneath he is soundly made with well angulated forequarters, good depth of chest, well ribbed with level topline and good tail set. Pleasing head with dark eye, good pigmentation, good mouth and underjaw. Moved true, but not striding out as freely as 1st.

O (5,1) 1 Sutcliffe’s Ch Fengolas Super Sassy at Newcliffe ShCM BOB. Really attractive gold bitch with a super outline, 8 ½ but carrying her years lightly. She has such a sweet feminine expression with nice balance of skull to muzzle, good fall over her dark frontally placed oval eyes, good pigmentation, and enough underjaw. She has a well arched neck, nicely angulated fore and hindquarters, straight front, good ribcage, level topline, and good tailset. She moved very soundly and freely in all directions. She was flagging slightly in the utility group, but I was pleased to see her go BVIS later in the day. 2 Saunders’ Bellellen Double Ducie JW RBOB. Handsome grey dog, immaculately presented. I liked his balanced outline and length to height ratio. He has heavy head furnishings with good whiskers and beard, but underneath that is a head of correct proportions with a moderately narrow skull falling away behind the eyes, well placed stop and dark expressive eyes. He has a good reach of neck, straight front, good depth of chest, level topline, good tailset, and is nicely angulated at both ends, allowing him to move with reach and drive. 3 Leavers’ Deelayne Rafa Ella at Shogandale

PG (8,2) 1 Sumaiya Dee Jai. 2 Kliuchnikowa’s Montravia Dream Chaser (Standard Poodle). Nicely balanced elegant white male. Pleasing head with a well filled foreface, flat cheeks, moderate stop and dark almond eye. Good layback of shoulder and length of upper arm, straight front with strong bone, deep chest, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks, toes arched on small feet, moved very well. 3 Lotsmoor Sunshine

O (3,1) 1 Deearellas Jumpin Jack Flash. Nice for size, with good bone. Good head proportions with strong foreface, well placed stop, dark almond shaped eyes, alert expression. Good reach of neck, compact body with good ribcage. Angulation is balanced at both ends, so moved soundly. 2 Shirkeira Razmatazz (Shih Tzu). Nice for size, in good coat, well presented. Broad skull and short square muzzle, dark well placed eye, giving a pleasing expression. Good length to height ratio and well made with good bone. Tail could be higher to present a more balanced outline. Not a very enthusiastic showman, but moved OK.

V (6,0) Super class. 1 Ch Fengolas Super Sassy at Newcliffe ShCM (Best AV). 2 Conway & Chapman’s Ch Norcairn Dark Angel Jw ShCM (French Bulldog). Loved this girl, she is sturdy and compact, stood foursquare all the time. Super head properties with broad muzzle, well developed cheeks and correct stop, dark eyes and typical bat ears. Nice bone for size, good depth and width of chest, good ribcage, strong loin, muscular hindquarters, well let down hocks, small tight feet. Moved very soundly. 3 Michandy Dats The One for Pupstar ShCM (Min Poodle)

Utility Group G1 Buckles’ Karshok Mister Kandie Man JW (Tibetan Terrier). Nicely balanced dog presenting a square outline. Pleasing head with dark brown eyes, moderate stop, strong muzzle and good underjaw. Good angulation at both ends, ribcage well sprung, level topline, well set and carried tail. Moved with good reach and drive. G2 Humphries’ Crackatari Princess Ebony Mac (French Bulldog). Feminine brindle, nice for size with good bone. Good width to muzzle, nice eye shape and placement, ears of good shape though could be higher set, but overall a pleasing expression. Well muscled neck of adequate length, good forehand angulation, enough depth and width of chest, typical cobby body. Would perhaps prefer more bend of stifle but moved soundly enough from all angles. Utility Puppy Group G1 Michandy Back In Time at Pupstar (Min Poodle). G2 Montrabella Limit Edition for Bellellen (Lhasa Apso). G3 Conway & Chapman’s Regentfayre Dark Addiction at Norcairn (French Bulldog). Presented a pleasing outline, well balanced with no exaggerations. Good head proportions with well defined stop, good depth and width of muzzle, correct mouth, dark eyes and nicely shaped ears carried erect. Good depth of chest, well sprung ribcage, short loin, good legs and feet. Nice flowing movement. G4 Crawford’s Araki Hug My Panda (Tibetan Terrier). Black and white, very much a baby. Good square outline, pleasing head and expression with correct balance of skull to muzzle, good mouth. Still needs to develop in body, but moved well and sympathetically handled.
