                            NORTH EASTERN AFGHAN HOUND SOCIETY CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 21 JULY 2019                                                         I would like to extend my thanks to all the exhibitors for allowing me to judge your beautiful hounds. My Steward Gillian who did a fabulous job, and my Co-Judge Diane where we agreed with all the major awards. 

BITCHES: 

Veteran  2.1a.  1. Bastow’s  Karandikar My Serenade. Black/Tan lady of nearly 10 years, attractive head and eye, lovely shape and balance. Beautifully  presented coat. Moved well.  

  

Puppy 3. 1.Noble & Wilcox Aqua’s The Bitchisback. 9 month Shaded mask Gold baby, lovely head with monkey whiskers, nice dark eye. Nice shape and outline for age. Moved steady for such a young baby. BPB & BPIS.                                                                                 2. Nisbet & Forrester’s Pramya Hot But Not Blonde At Finix. 10 month Black/Silver, built on different lines to 1. Nice head and dark eye, good shape and outline, balanced angulation, moved well.                                                                                                                         3. MacKenzie’s Villisilkin Alicia Of Eilyhir. 

Junior 5.  1. Lancashire & O’Donnell’s  Drishaun Don’t Gild The Lily JW. 13 month Self masked Gold, most lovely head shape, dark eye with good expression, long neck flowing into good shoulder placement. Good depth of chest, good angulation fore and aft, well muscled. Beautifully presented coat. Moved well.                                                                                                                                                 2. O’Donnell’s Drishaun Faith Is Like A Lily For Javidan. Brindle litter sister to 1. Built on smaller lines but has all her sisters virtues.    3. Nisbet & Forrester’s Zandahar Xclusively For Finix.

 Yearling 5.  1. Sanghera’s Tulak Driving Miss Daisy To Sitana. Beautiful Shaded mask Cream of lovely type. Excellent head & wonderful expression, long neck into an excellent front assembly, good ribbing and strong loin, well angulated strong quarter's. Moved well. Beautiful coat presentation. Res CC.                                                                                                                                                  2. Vowles Neytiri De Koulangar With Azmari. Black masked Gold lovely head & eye, nice outline well placed shoulders and good return of upper arm, deep chest and level topline, balanced angulation, moved well.                                                                                        3. Lancashire & O’Donnell’s Drishaun Say She Ain’t Gazon

Novice 3. 1. Smith’s Bryelis in Vogue. 13 month Brindle, lovely head & eye. Needs to body up but is a nice shape and outline, balanced angulation, moved well.                                                                                                                                                                             2. Graduate 3. 1. Raper’s Tulak Just Go With It For Amariz. Shaded masked Gold, lovely head & eye, well placed shoulders and good return of upper arm, deep chest and level topline. Sparcely coated so has nothing to hide, balanced angulation fore and aft.      Moved well. Did not like me as much as I liked her.                                                                                                                                                  2. Lancashire & O’Donnell’s Drishaun Say She Ain’t Gazon. 13 month Blue/Cream Domino. Very pretty young lady with a lovely head & eye. Good neck and shoulder, lovely blue saddle & level topline, nice body shape with correct angles, in excellent condition, moved well,  beautifully  presented and handled. 3.Lancashire & O’Donnell’s Drishaun Consider The Lily. 

Post Grad 4.1a. 1. McDonald, Hindley & McQuade’s Laava’s Mini Me’z Opportunity At Birkhall. Self masked Gold, feminine & elegant head, nice dark eye, good neck, nice outline, good angulation fore & aft. Beautifully presented. Moved well.                                               2. Bloor’s Pashtari Lady Cavendish JW. Feminine Black/Brindle, dark triangular eye, good neck and   shoulder,  correct angles. I felt she was carrying a little too much weight today, but moved well, beautifully handled and presented.                                                         3. Parker’s Saxonmill Jean Genie At Khatira  

Mid Limit 4.2a. 1. James Gilari Vermillion Venus JW. Shaded masked Red. Nice head & eye, long neck,  balanced outline with a correct front assembly and corresponding rear quarters. In good body, moved with drive. Lovely presentation.                                           2. Lockett-Davies Rhazmakh Tyme’N’Tyde JW. Brindle, feminine & elegant head, nice dark eye, good neck, nice outline, good angulation fore & aft. Moved well nicely presented.  

Limit 3. 1. Hall’s Saxonmill Mirror Mirror. Black/Silver. Feminine head with good expression, well          constructed, with balanced angulation fore and aft. in excellent condition, really moved well, handled and  presented beautifully.                                                          2. Barber, Henry & Sampson. Tianze Melt My Heart At Normarand. Shaded masked Gold. Nice head & dark eye, good neck and shoulder, correct angles, good mover, beautifully handled and presented.                                                                                                          3. Parker’s Devanmarn Say The Magic Word At Khatira. 

Open 4. 1. Lockett-Davies CH.Bondor a Golden Age Over Rhazmakh JW Sh.CM. Silver/Brindle.                   Lovely proportions everything flowed, from her beautiful head and eye through to her long neck and good shoulder placement, deep chest and spring of rib strong loin and fallaway. Balanced angulation both back and front well set tail moved with reach & drive. Extremely pleased to award her the CC today also          BB & BIS                                                                                                                                                                2. Self Masked Gold very feminine, most lovely head shape & good expression,  good outline with a correct front assembly and corresponding rear quarters. Moved well.
