I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge and for all those who entered under me. I had a very enjoyable morning and a very efficient steward who was a pleasure to work with. I was pleased to have some excellent exhibits to go over.

Junior (3/0)

1st Davidson-Poston’s Orleana Maria Marsa Spinillons (Imp Rus), 9-month-old, tri bitch, excellent head shape with slightly rounded skull, finely pointed muzzle and well-defined stop. Beautiful medium rounded dark eyes with very mobile and well-set ears framing the face and correct bite. Gave her handler a hard time but displayed bounds of lively personality and presented a lovely outline with a level topline, fine bone and excellent depth of chest for her age. Straight forelegs and well-turned stifle in the rear leading to parallel movement away and back. Lovely textured coat with good furnishings that I’m sure will come with time. BP.

2nd Matthews’ Berestead Haute Couture, 13-month-old bitch, well balanced with a friendly and intelligent temperament. Nice head with correct proportions, dark eyes, correct bite and well framed large and mobile ears with correct setting. Straight forelegs and well-turned stifle in the rear, excellent depth of chest and excellent bone creating a nice outline and light movement. Lovely silky coat with sufficient frill.

1st Lockhart & Farrell’s Chetruda Dark Secret, 3-year-old, b/w dog, in beautiful condition with long fine silky coat, profuse frill and a long, well fringed, high set tail. Correct head with finely pointed muzzle, well defined stop, dark medium eyes and correct bite. Level topline with straight forelegs, well-turned stifle, strong loin and very good depth of chest. Gave his handler some difficulty but showed a lively spirit, free-flowing, light movement and a beautiful outline when settled.

1st Davidson-Poston’s CH/IR/NR/INT CH Spinillons Rebel Rowser JW ShCM CW14 VW ShCEx, 8-year-old, b/w dog, such a gorgeous exhibit of this breed. Ideal head, with excellent proportions, endearing eyes, correct bite and very large, heavily fringed ears that complete the picture. Moved effortlessly with light, positive and parallel movement at all times. Excellent bone, straight forelegs, well sprung ribs and well-turned stifle in the rear. Silky, long coat, with profuse fill and still in astonishing condition. A joy to judge. BOB.

2nd Scovell’s Frasermar Explosion at Caswell, 9-year-old, tri dog, another lovely exhibit and so pleasant to see veterans competing in such good condition and with such lively spirit. Nice head with large, movile and heavily fringed ears. Excellent bone and presented a lovely outline with good angles in the rear and parallel movement away and back. Lovely long silky coat completed the picture. RBOB.
