Shetland Sheepdogs

P (2) 1, Pitch Perfect, 6 1/2 months shaded sable, well-balanced angulation, plenty of fill for age, with pleasing expression, high-set ears, dark eye, plenty of underjaw, in excellent puppy coat and movement was light and graceful with precise footfall. BP & PG2; 2, Perle du Lait by Tooralie, sable, more substantial type than 1 and will take longer to mature; nothing wrong with construction but not willing to settle on the move and this affected front movement on the day.

G (5) 1, Shelegian Ring o’Bells of Amethrickeh; feminine sable with a lovely head and expression, well made all through with correct angles both ends, in good coat. Clean out and back but not really putting her best foot forward in profile 2, Tooralie’s I Spie with Willowthorn shaded sable, 2yo bitch with lovely expression, correctly placed and tipped ears, very well made all through with balanced angulation, moved well, not in her best jacket; 3, Channerswick Pennywise.

O (4,1) 1, Tooralie’s Ocho Rios, impressive young male with an excellent head and expression, asculine yet refined; dark eye, well set ears used willingly, all in proportion with balanced angles, in superb coat and condition, moved well in the class, and better in the challenge, by the Group he had settled and put up a strong challenge. BOB & G2; 2, Channerswick Penny Lane JW, smart b/m of very nice type and quality, pretty head, wel-balanced, well-fitting jacket, moved very well all round; would just prefer clearer blue markings; 3, OSW Willowthorn Dream Gazer JW ShCM ShCEx.

Bearded Collies

P (2,1 ) 1, Barnswood Mary Poppins, 8 months dark slate with well balanced head, good pigment, excellent front with plenty of fill and return, kept topline well on the move, moves cleanly in front and in profile, just needs to tighten up a bit behind; BP & PG3.

G (5, 2) 1, Debbeacol Takes Two to Tango, grey youngster, she has a lovely head with good breadth of skull and strength of jaw, excellent expression and very good pigment, sound front, strong rear, level topline kept on the move, well ribbed up and with good tail set and carriage, flowed around the ring with graceful free strides, full of personality, one to watch. BOB & G1; 2, Aoibh Fiery Flamenco, still to come in her coat but served to show her excellent outline, very nice type with a quality head and she moved very well, still quite immature at 14 months but has all the essentials and should finish well; 3, Kiltondale Chicago Flame.

O (9, 4) 1, Debbeacol Poetry in Motion JW, 4yo full sister to the graduate winner and of similar super type, well-balanced outline, excellent head properties, in good coat, moved really well; lost her cool a bit in the challenge with her sister present; 2, K Chicago Flame, a very promising typy youngster of very good make and shape, had settled a bit and moved much better in this class, a bit of a handful but lots to like; 3, Osmart Mink’s Dark Lady at Aoibh.

AVNSC Pastoral

P (4) 1, Ballynabola Naya, GSD, a cracking pup showing both type and soundness; pleasing head with strong jaw, good length of neck flows into well laid shoulder, excellent front and feet, good topline, neither flat nor overdone, strong rear used really well without any hint of unsoundness, well ribbed up and showing a powerful driving action even in a small and rather slippery ring, BP & PG1; 2, Moonshadow Causa, Puli, really pretty head and front, well made front, plenty of bum, well set tail, full of bounce but moved very well when she settled; 3, Hamadryas Gorgo, GSD.

G (7,3, 1 transferred to open) 1, Hamadryas Gold at Wakanda, GSD, pleasing head, good front and topline, moved well considering the ring, feet could be better; 2, Hamadryas Sword, littermate to 1, loved his head and outlook, very typy and handsome; better feet than 1 but not moving so well behind, far too keen; 3, Ballynabola Ria.

O (3, 1) 1, Zeelukzak Om Shanti ShCM, Samoyed, full of Samoyed character, lovely head witch characteristic smiling expression, well-balanced with good angles both ends, level topline, good tail carriage, clean and brisk movement with plenty of drive behind. Best AVNSC Pastoral & G3; 2, Zandamor Dax, GSD, again a very nice head and outlook, good shoulder and return of upper arm. Still a young dog and needs to fill out a bit.
