Sutton Coldfield and District Canine Society held a very well run Open Show at the Sports Connexion with a super atmosphere all day. The Officers and committee should be proud of the show they put on and the entry today reflected the hard work that goes in.
It was a pleasure to judge Best In Show and I thank the group judges for sending through their winners.
BIS was the SFT Wilberg, Wilkinson, Evans & Rowles’ SUP CH PINNACLE ME MYSELF AND EYE FOR KANIX, in superb condition this boy was on his tiptoes and put on a super show. Clean head, super ears, strong all through and moved with such soundness. RBIS was the young, charismatic Dobermann Ingram’s JOJAVIK DEVIL’S IVY, having judged her as a raw baby I was delighted to see how she has come on. Still very much a youngster but this girl has an assured future in front of her. Loved her but just not the polished performance of the BIS winner today.
BPIS was the most promising Labrador puppy Bailiss’ TISSALIAN HI SOCIETY. Beautiful head and expression, all of a piece, even at this young age, super for type and balance. Sound as a pound in fabulous coat. Certain champion. RBPIS was the BMD Miles’ JAYBIEM MODUS OPERANDI, another most promising youngster that please very much for type and totally balanced. Super bone and substance, head coming along nicely with great expression. In first class coat and condition. Moved extremely well. I’m sure he has a great future ahead of him.
