Thank you to Pollard committee for inviting me to judge at your show, it was a lovely atmosphere in the pretty gardens of the park. Thank you to my jovial stewards for your help and to the exhibitors for bringing your dogs for me. All dogs had excellent temperaments and the correct bite.

Class 188 Puppy (3/3)

1st 291 Haywood-Ridgway’s Luccombe Strawberry Fizz. This 9 month old black bitch makes an impressive outline in profile. Gorgeous, feminine head with the darkest of eyes and mischievous expression. Well placed ears which she uses to good effect. Good length of neck into nicely laid shoulders and good front construction. Excellent bone, straight fores and tight cat feet. Well sprung ribs that are carried right back. Level topline into correct tailset. Excellent rear angulation, not overdone, balanced with her front. Musculature perfect for her age and she still has the look of a puppy with good body covering. She was extremely positive on the move, head down reaching forward as she covered the ground driving from her strong hocks. A very sound bitch with excellent spotting to finish the picture. Pleased to award her Best Puppy and see her take Puppy Group 4.

2nd 293 Page’s Salsusa A Million Dreams at Winflash. Ultra-feminine black spotted 9 month old bitch. Such a beautiful head with excellent pigmentation. Long, elegant neck flowing into good shoulder placement. Good for bone and nice, tight feet. Good topline and strong loin. Excellent rear angulation with strong hocks. Good condition throughout with second thigh developing already. Another youngster who covers the ground well with rhythmic, energetic movement. Just preferred the forechest of the winner but at this stage of development everything is still falling into place and no doubt they will change places on a different day.

3rd 292 Page’s Winflash Lulu Guiness.

Class 189 Junior (2/3)

1st 289 Emmett & Simons Ellemstra Against All Odds. Striking 13 month old black spotted boy who exudes showmanship. Masculine head with an attractive ghost face and dark eyes. Correct ear placement and carriage. Well muscled neck, strong shoulders into good length of upper arm. Excellent bone, straight fores and well knuckled cat feet. Deep ribs and chest with plenty of heart room. Strong topline, muscular loin and superb rear angulation. His good turn of stifle with strong hocks gave him a powerful driving action when moving around the ring. He tracked up perfectly from all angles. RBOB.

2nd 287 Addy’s Creaganbrec Melodipond. This 14 month old black spotted bitch has bags of personality. An elegant girl with a pretty face. Good length of neck, nice bone and feet. Good depth of chest and level topline. Muscles coming along nicely with second thigh developing well. She has a good bend of stifle and strong hocks. She was rather erratic on the move however, when she settled, she has a great length of stride and tracks well.

Class 190 Postgraduate (1/1)

1st 289 Emmett & Simons Ellemstra Against All Odds. As above.

Class 191 Open (2/3)

1st 294 Page’s Winflash Prada Candy Kiss. 2 year old, outgoing, black spotted bitch makes a lovely outline on the stand, she just oozes elegance. Delightfully spotted face with the darkest of eyes gives her an endearing expression. She has a strong jaw and good length of muzzle. Long, muscular neck into well-defined withers. Nice amount of bone, good spring to pasterns and tight feet with well knuckled toes. Ribs to elbows with a deep, capacious chest. Strong topline and loin with correct tailset. She is balanced at the rear with a good turn of stifle and powerful hocks. She is in such hard condition, with clean musculature throughout. She really shined on the move, covering the ground so easily with a rhythmic gait that I could have watched all day. Pleased to award her Best of Breed and then see her go on to take RBIS.

2nd 289 Emmett & Simons Ellemstra Against All Odds. Pushed hard in this class but just lost out on maturity.
