Horley & District Canine Society – Open Show – Sunday 25th August 2019

I would like to thank the committee of Horley & District Canine Society for inviting me to judge at their show, my steward Gary Haigh who did a great job of organising the ring efficiently for me and the exhibitors for their attendance and sporting attitudes on this lovely sunny day.

Breed – CKCS

J: (4,1) 1. Hazeltine’s Juzandia Elowen. 11 month old ruby bitch. Beautifully presented with plenty of silky rich red coat. Lovely head with large round dark eyes giving the desired melting expression. Correct dentition. Good angulation throughout. Moved well when settled. BP

2. Wood’s Nyleve’s Felicity. 7 month old tricolour bitch. Well presented with well broken markings and rich tan in the correct places. Pretty head with round dark expressive eyes, well set ears with plenty of feathering and a sweet expression. Correct dentition. Moved well both ways.

PG: (5,2) 1. Thomas’ Bowfort Bertie Wooster of Pepyswood. 3 year old Blenheim dog. Presented in immaculate condition with full coat. Well broken markings with rich chestnut on a pearly white background. Lovely masculine head with well set ears and almost flat skull between. Correct dentition, good pigmentation and round dark eyes which created a lovely melting expression. A very well made dog with good angulation which he used to full effect moving effortlessly around the ring while maintaining a spirit level topline at all times. BOB

2. Hazeltine’s Juzandia Morwenna. 2 year old Blenheim bitch. Beautifully presented with well broken markings. A very attractive bitch with lovely head, large dark expressive eyes, good pigmentation and well set ears. Good angulation throughout and a lovely size. Moved well both ways and had a happy disposition. RBOB

L: (1) Morrison’s Lewisisle Highland Bracken. 2 year old ruby dog. Well presented with plenty of rich red silky coat. Nice masculine head with dark eyes, good pigmentation, correct dentition and a lovely expression. Moved well.

O: (2,1) 1. Morrison’s Lewisisle Highland Hamish ShCM. 9 year old ruby dog. Well presented with plenty of rich red silky coat. Handsome head with round dark eyes, enough cushioning, well set ears and correct dentition. Moved well.
