Pointer

Thank you very much to the committee for my appointment and to a cheery steward it was a lovely day at a great show! I am really grateful to all the exhibitors for a super entry and for bringing their dogs; what a pleasing line up and challenge it was for the best of breed!

Puppy 5 (2)

1 - Stilgoe’s, Teisgol Hot Chocolate

7 ½ month liver and white bitch who is pleasing in body depth and length and for her outline that she smoothly maintained during confident movement. A feminine, balanced head with good occipital bone and well-set ears.

Her lengthy, muscular neck arises beautifully from well-placed shoulders. Elbows tight and plenty of depth to chest. Correct bone, pasterns and neat well-cushioned feet.

Well ribbed to a strong loin and thigh. She moved cleanly and with style around the ring. BP and delighted to see her go RBPIS

2 - Webster and Goodwin’s, Millpoint Air Wave

Feminine black and white bitch at almost 7 months and her first show. Her pretty head, already showing lovely work, has a kind expression, dark eye and fine ear set.

She has a lengthy neck pleasingly arched into shoulders and shows a good length of upper arm.

Good bend to stifle and width to thighs giving strength in her hindquarters. Liked her balance and she moved freely and happily; just needs time to get her foreleg movement to coordinate and settle.

3 - Stilgoe’s, Olivesong Chase The Memory To Teisgol

Junior 4 (3)

1 - Adams and Scales’, Fisherbloom Re’Encountered

Although alone in the class, this handsome black and white male commanded presence with his balance of front and rear, overall shape and movement. At just over 14 months, his head has balance and quality a dark eye and such a gentle expression.

A pleasing neck flows into a good lay of shoulder, length of upper arm, good bone, pasterns and neat, cushioned feet. His hindquarters, to further strengthen, show good width over stifle.

He moved with ease showing reach and drive and accurate foot placement. Pleased to award him RBOB

Post Graduate 8 (3)

1 - O’Neill’s, Tenshilling Biscuits JW

Orange and white handsome male of almost 2 years that looked a picture with his shapely outline and balance. Soundly put together, he moved with grace and ease. He has a smart and balanced head with the kindest of expression and a gently arched neck leading into a lengthy and well-laid shoulder. Correct bone, pasterns and neat well-cushioned feet.

Beautifully curved underline and deep through chest with ribs carried well back to a strong loin. Good tail set and width to thighs finish a neat body.

For me, he was the best in movement today – energetic, with accurate and tidy reach and drive. Pleased to award him BOB

2 - Matthews’, Medogold Tartini With Sonham JW ShCM

Black and white bitch of 20 months with a melting expression and beautiful head proportions.

She has a superb front assembly – lengthy, well laid shoulders with upper arm in proportion, correct bone, oval, well cushioned feet. This flows through to a substantial depth in brisket, ribs carried well back to strong loins and well-turned, muscular stifles with good width to thighs.

Her well-muscled body and fore and hind limb balance put her in good stead to move with true reach and drive around the ring.

Preferred slightly shorter body length of 1.

3 – Rayner, Spinks and Pringle’s, Gartarry All That Jazz At Spinray

Open 5 (1)

1 – Stilgoe’s, Enzo Del Almojon Through Teisgol (IMP ESP)

Orange and white, handsome male of almost 4 years. Balanced head with nice work that has a dark eye and alert, kind expression.

Muscular neck leading to a good lay of shoulder, length of upper arm and a clean, front with neat elbows. Good depth to brisket and ribs carried well back to firm loin - he is a pleasing shape all over.

He moved out well - cleanly with balance and with purpose.

2 – Baker and Baker-Roullier’s, Desfrisa Flirtini JW ShCM

A feminine black and white bitch of almost 3 ½ years bitch that has a flowing outline. Gentle expression and a beautifully worked head, fine ears and lip.

Her lovely neck leads into a good lay of shoulder, front assembly and decent fore-chest. Her length of upper arm and good shoulder makes for superb reach in her length of stride.

Today, her stride needed more drive to balance. Firm top-line and a beautiful tail.

3 – Rayner, Spinks and Pringle’s, Gartarry High Society At Spinray JW
