19th April 2019

Thank you to to the committee for Inviting me to judge at this lovely show, the lunch was fab and the hospitality was great. I managed to catch up with a few friends in other breeds who I do not usually meet at shows and had a nice day all round. Thank you also to the exhibitors who entered under me at this show in this low numbered breed. No bad pads today and a great atmosphere.

Graduate D/B (1,0)

1st CA Harris - Bowlingbrook Oops a Daisy, 21 month old Blue Bitch. This lovely little bitch was not looking or performing her best today, a little sparse in coat and not very interested in moving. A nice sized bitch with good shaped head with good shaped eye, and lovely thin and velvety ears laying close to her head, a good reach of neck but not wanting to keep her head up on the move. Deep brisket and flat ribbed. Slightly longer than tall, long feet with thick, tight pads. Good tail set and carriage. Overall a nice girl just not happy with the venue and not looking at her best, which cost her RBOB.

Open D/B (2,0)

1st Mrs YE & Mr CR Bannister - Miteymidgets English Dream 3yo Blue Dog. A super little boy who showed off every inch of himself. Well muscled and moved round the ring with his head held high. Beautifully shaped head with no stop just a correct strait line from nose to occiput. Thin fine ears with silky covering laying flat to head. Flat rib, deep brisket, correct arch over loin into good hindquarters, good rear angulation and good tuck up. Good low tail carriage. BOB and very pleased to see he went on to take Terrier Group 3.

2nd CA Harris – Ratzwell Saint Valentino 2yo Blue Dog. Good Pigmentation, nice reach of neck into good shoulders. Flat rib and good tuck up, correct tail set. Moved better than the bitch in the challenge to take RBOB.
