Firstly can I apologise to everyone for the time it has taken me to write these critiques – as some of you know but many of you possibly do not, I had a call early at the show to say that my Mother was critically ill and she later died in the early hours of the morning of the 10th June. Due to this my notes were packed up with the rest of my mothers belongings and shipped from her rented house in London that I had to get everything out of in less than 2 weeks to my house in Lancashire. I have found it difficult and upsetting to be going through everything and as a consequence the notes I made have been missing since the show. I could have left when I got the call and left it to someone else to be appointed in an emergency but felt that I did not want to let the exhibitors or the show down by doing this.

I apologise if the critiques are a little light on info but I only have my notes and a few photos of the day – the weather stopped a lot of photography and delayed judging for a little while to wait for the showers to pass. I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries and entrusting me with their dogs, and hope that the lateness of these critiques is forgiven. I hope I did you justice on the day. I do have pictures of most of the dogs upto the Shih Tzu when it got a little wet and the wind was blowing coats all over the place at times. Poodle tails seem to be a little bit of an issue with a few going over the back on the move but the wind was not helping.

French Bulldog

1st Mrs J Eskerett. WHLE YOU STILL CAN. 6 month old Dog – Pied boy with good head and lovely bat ears, good feet. Good overall balance. BP

2nd Mr M & Mrs Y Ayriss. WHY LIGHTNING STRIKES AT BOULEVAYA. 6 month old Dog - Litter brother to 1st - Brindle boy who is compact with good rear angulation, all his nails are white and his movement has yet to settle.

1st Mrs L & Ms G Plimbley & Worthy KUREDUEX RAGGAMUFFIN 15 Month Old Dog. - Brindle Boy with good overall balance and proportions, good head and bat ears, good bone and feet with correct angulation and movement, black nails. Good width to front and good spring of rib. Pleased to award him BOB

2nd Mrs W Doherty. – MASTER SHELBY 12 month old Fawn Boy with a good shape, good head and bone, preferred chest and rib of one but he is younger than one and has yet to mature.

1st Mrs W Doherty.  BOSTON CREAM 12 month old Fawn Boy litter brother to 2nd in Junior he is quite like his brother but a little more mature, good width of front, he has a good shape head and good bone and his movement is a little more together than his brother which is why I preferred this boy for RBOB.

1st Mrs M L Abbotts BELLES LITTLE MENACE 13 month old Boy with a bit of maturing to do, stood alone,  good ears and head shape, short cobby body.

1st Mr P Hollies & Miss T Carrs JANQBU VALENTINO JW 14 month old Male, beautiful head ears and eyes, free easy gait looking like he could go for miles. Overall shape good with correct angulation good tail set. BOB

2nd Mr M Coles KOBOMIKA ONCE UPON A TYME 11 month old Bitch who has a lovely shape and size, good head and ears lost out to first on movement today but pleased to award her BP

3rd Mr & Mrs Adlingtons MOSSPARK BLUE DENUM

1st Mrs M & Miss K Hays SANTICA RUFUS RED BEAR 3 year old dog who stood alone but a nice boy with lovely laid back free movement, good head and correct ears. Good feet and correct rear angulation with foot under hip in profile. Pleased to award him RBOB.

1st Mrs V Harris VONSTRY BLACK BRIGADE 12 month old boy with good eyes and ears, correct reverse scissor with strait teeth, clean free action. Good coat for one so young.

1st  Mrs V Harris VONSTRY CHERISHED 3 year old Bitch with good reverse scissor bite and good length of nose to skull ratio.  Preferred front on this one to second. Pleased to award him BOB

2nd  Miss M L Hemsleys TAEMARUS MOET 7 year old with good head and correct reverse scissor, correct oval eye. Good coat.

3rd Miss K Greyshons SEINGTYE JADE MARIE 31/2 year old Bitch.

1st Mrs M Gouldsborough SAFIETTE SHE'S A DREAM 6 month old Bitch, lovely ears and eyes good hind angulation with well let down hocks a baby with a bit of excitement but its all there – I am sure this little one has a bright future. Pleased to award her Best Puppy.

1st Mrs A J Thompson TRANDELLA LOOK OF LOVE 2 ½ year old Dog nice head good eyes and ears, a bit of a gay tail over his back today but did not detract from this lovely little ones character, good length of body, good feet and nails. Moved better than the others in the challenge to take BOB

1st  Mrs A J Thompson TRANDELLA LOVE THE LOOK ShCM – 2 ½ year old dog litter brother to PG winner not quite as with it as his brother today – good overall shape and size, good coat, not as good on the move as his brother today. RBOB

1st Mr C Godfrey, Mr I Peacock, & Mrs L Thomas LORICS RIA MIDNITE MAJESTY 9 month old Bitch who just said me. Lovely eye, ear long and low good head and jaw. Good scissor bite, well chiselled head lovely little movement on her. BP

2nd Miss K L McGreevy MINAMIA REWRITE THE STARS 14 months old Bitch who oozed attitude, hocks well let down and coat of good texture a tight run for first just preferred head and expression of one.

3rd Mrs J Melton JENCRO DIAMOND IN THE SKY 15 month old Dog.

1st G Mellors AMERIQUE TALK OF THE TOWN  20 month old Bitch good head with long and low ear, good coat and moved lightly with drive. Still young but a beautiful shape preferred the feet and rear angulation of this girl to the winner of open pleased to award her BOB.

2nd Mrs L E Thomas LORICS RIA MIDNIGHT STAR 3 ½  year old Bitch beautiful girl with super head well chiselled and with good ear set. Hocks well let down and moved well round the ring. Coat needs a little attention as it spoilt her outline on the stack.

2nd Miss R & Miss P Steel JADOREMY RED BOUNTY SNIPPER FOR JUHUA 10 month old Dog, very nice lad, still very much a pup that I am sure will mature but may take a little time. Lovely chrysanthemum like shape to face, head broad, correct undershot bite.

3rd Mrs S Moores SHIRMINS STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

1st Miss J Leivers TAMERON MR GORGEOUS GEORGE AT SREVIEL 16 month old Dog, good chrysanthenum like shape to face, good reverse scissor bite, large dark eye, good angulation front and rear, smooth flowing movement round the ring which won him the class. RBOB

2nd Mr T Paczkowski & Ms Y Cannon CORRLOUGH ICE MAIDEN  good chrysanthenum like shape to face, nose a little short, good coat, good feet.

1st Mrs S Moores SHIRMINS SANS PARIEL 15 month old Dog,  good chrysanthenum like shape to face, broad skull with good dark eye, correct fore and aft angulation, moved smoothly, covering the ground well.

2nd Mrs L Hutleys MIRACY COUNT ME IN 7 year old dog, in very good condition for his age still with good dentition and correct bite, good chrysanthenum like shape to face, well angulated good feet, just lost today on front movement.

3rd Mr T Crosslands CHAELA WILD LOVE

1st Mr T Crosslands CHAELA RALPHISH 2 year old Male with a lot to like, correct bite good broad head, good width between eyes, correct coat, good for and aft angulation move smoothly but with purpose round the ring showing full pad with good reach in front, BOB.

2nd  Miss R & Miss P Steel BLR CH IKAR JUHUA BY GLAMOUR (IMP BLR) 4 year old Dog, good broad head and correct bite, correct angulation, moved well, good coat.

Tibetan Terrier

we had a bit of a break before this breed due to the rain and it had only just stopped when we started again and the wind was still high while I was judging these, not sure it was helping anyones movement, a difficult bunch to split, some very nice dogs.
