BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG
Post-Graduate (1)
1. Otero-Rodriguez & Otero-Scutt’s Homer De LLobu Astur (imp Esp)
A 3 year old male who was certainly enjoying himself today. He has a strong masculine head with the required well defined stop. He has strength throughout and is well off for bone. He is fairly well balanced front and rear, but just needs to tighten in topline. He moved OK in all directions. RBOB
Open (1)
1. Rumble’s Harvestbank in Dreams of Glenbrienz
This exuberant young male is maturing well and he particularly scores highly in his great bone, strength and his wonderful compact feet. He has a super head with strength to skull, lovely dark eyes and kindly expression. He is well balanced front and rear and was shown in good muscular condition. He moved well enough when settled, but he was carrying just a tad too much weight on the day, which does effect his movement somewhat. I am sure if he was shown less heavy, he would be destined for top honours as a very lovely boy. BOB
LEONBERGER
Junior (3)
1. Bodle’s Debbollinby Kandyman at Lionsridge
This young man is very impressive for his age and particularly liked his good length of leg and his overall body proportions. He has a masculine head which is well balanced throughout. He is well off for bone and has well laid back shoulders with good length to upper arm. He has strength throughout with a super strong topline. He just needs to let down in rear, which I am sure will happen as he is matures. He moved well in front with super reach, but just needs to strengthen in the rear. He was pushed hard by his kennelmate, but deserved his placings and RBOB. Should have a very bright future.
2. Bodle’s Hima Psia Psota into Lionsbridge (imp Pol)
Another very lovely youngster, who at only 9 months of age, pushed the winner very hard for top honours in this class and another who must surely have a very bright future. Her head is feminine and has good proportions, with super eyes and expression. She is well angulated front and rear and really comes into her own on the move and moved really well in all directions with good reach and drive. She has obviously had a growth spurt and was a tad dippy in topline on the day. However, a quality puppy and was pleased to award her BPIB and Working Puppy Group 3. Well done.

1. Bodle’s Debbollinby Just Kruzin’ Into Kitarn JW
What a super male this is, who at just over 2 years of age is just maturing, as one would expect in a large breed. He fills the eye with such a balanced overall shape and certainly has the power and strength required for this breed. He is well angulated front and rear and has super bone throughout. His head is strong, but is balanced and in proportion to his body. He has a broad deep chest and strong neck and he particularly impressed with his fabulous muscle tone throughout. He moved out well in all directions with powerful reach and drive and looked like he could go all day. Best of Breed and I was delighted to award him top honours in the Working Group, by awarding him Group 1. Many congratulations.
AVNSC WORKING
Puppy 6 (3 abs)
What a very exciting class to judge, as all 3 puppies present were very promising and all should have a bright future.
1. Cranfield’s Santanna Dazzling Spirit at Zefather JW (IKC)
This 11 month old fawn Great Dane presents such a balanced picture for one so young. She has a feminine head, which is well proportioned throughout. Her neck is long and well arched into well laid back shoulders. She has super strong straight bone and the required typical cat-like feet. She has well let down hocks and super bend of stifle and already has a very well developed 2nd thigh. She moved so very well with super reach and drive and was handled to get the very best from her. Delighted to award her Best AVNSC Puppy and Working Puppy Group 1. I shall follow her progress with interest. Many congratulations.
2. Wheaton’s Ausries The Real Thing for Acinonyx
What a really super young 7 month old rottweiler who has a most delightful
Temperament and is obviously a natural showman. His head his developing well and has super dark eyes and great expression. He is well angulated front and rear and has a strong topline. He moved soundly in all directions and should have a very bright future.
3. Palser’s Rarjo Goblet of Fire at Kagamasu
Junior (3)
1. Mills & Chatburn’s Zentaur Drop It Like Its Hot for Oialt (AI)
This young black Newfoundland has a most delightful head for her age with super eyes and expression. She has a good length of leg, with good bone and well angulated front and rear, which gives her a very balanced outline. Just needs to tighten a tad in topline as she matures. She was shown and presented in super condition and handled to get the very best from her. She moved purposely and soundly in all directions. Best AVNSC Working and Working Group 2. Well done.
2. Coldwell’s Zentaur This is Jam Hot (AI)
Brown litter sister to the winner and another super example of the breed. She has a pleasing head with strength to skull and good eyes and expression. Well off for bone throughout and is well angulated front and rear. Another super mover in all directions.

2. Simm’s Over The Rainbow Des Sarmentins (Imp FR) (Siberian Husky)
A delightful young man, who is mature for his age and would not want him any stronger. He has a very lovely head with super ear set and expression. He has excellent front and rear angulation and moved with great reach and drive and certainly must have a bright future.
3. Bodle’s Hima Psia Psota into Lionsbridge (imp Pol) (Leonberger)

A lovely young bullmastiff puppy, who is just right for his age. Has a pleasing head and expression. Moved soundly in all directions. Handled very well by his young handler.
BRIARD
Junior (2)
Two fabulous young ladies in this class, who I later found out were litter sisters.
1. Coleman’s Jandade Shooting Star to Hartswelin
What a super young black girl, who is so very well balanced throughout. Her head is well balanced with great eyes and expression. Lovely big teeth and super bite. She has well laid back shoulders, good bone and strong back, which is level and held so well on the move. Shown in super condition and coat. She has a good set on and length of tail and was pleased to find the required crook at the end, which is such a breed characteristic. She really impressed on the move with such an effortless gait in all directions. She looked like she could go all day. Shall follow her progress with interest. Best of Breed.
2. Wilson’s Jandade Precious Blossom
This fawn girl is another super example of the breed and another who must certainly have a bright future. Pushed her sister hard for top honours, but on the day, she was not quite as balanced as the winner, as a tad longer in body and just needs to let down a little in the rear. However, she was another who moved so very well in all directions. RBOB
Open 4 (2 abs)
1. Wilson’s Jandade Precious Blossom
2. Funnell’s Shezmo Lady Impa
Another quality black bitch, who is pleasing in head and overall shape and proportions. She did not move as well as the winner on the day, but her construction suggests she could move better and am sure the ring surface did not help.
