LICHFIELD CANINE SOCIETY OPEN SHOW SATURDAY 26TH JANAURY 2019 I would like to thank Lichfield Canine Society for inviting me to judge the Border Terriers at this lovely very well run show P (3 1) 1 Barber Alcumlow Portobello Road 10 mth old Red Bitch , Lovely puppy built on nice lines ,She`s a nice size and very easily spanned , nice tail and tail set and carries it well when she gets moments of confidence ,nice feminine Otter head with correct mouth and nice big teeth ,she moves soundly when she got it together 2 Payne Alcumlow the Botonist at Sensevalley 10mth old Blue and Tan boy , A tall elegant boy built on very similar lines to 1 Lovely head and expression nice big correct teeth , Really super harsh jacket and thick pelt , I liked his rib shape and they are carried well back , nice lay of shoulder and moves with reach ,just needs time to mature into his frame J(3 1) 1 Barber Alcumlow Bloom 10mth old Blue and Tan Bitch Very eye catching puppy , lovely feminine head with nice big teeth and correct mouth ,I liked her length and athletic build , she`s narrow throughout and spans easily , good angles front and back which made for a balanced look when on the move , she`s sporting a correct blue jacket which just finishes the over-all picture , I really liked her, BOB ,BPIB 2 Jordan-Smith Ravenside Marsha at Jordith 12mth Grizzle Bitch , This bitch has the most attractive head and expression ,Correct mouth, neat small ears ,Super harsh jacket just coming in , narrow throughout and nicely ribbed back ,sadly she didn`t move out as well as 1st in this class which did spoil her over-all impression P G(2) 1 , 2nd in junior see above , she moved out so much better in this class to take the class 2 Pearce Onthill Nighthawk 13mth Blue and Tan boy , Nicely headed dog with a cracking expression, I liked his bone and he`s very much my type of border being slightly up on the leg , He just lacked a bit of presence in the ring especially when trotting out but he moved soundly O (2 1) 1 Payne Alcumlow Heather at Sensevalley 2 year old Grizzle bitch , Lovely bitch with good head and expression , nice lay of shoulder and angled nicely throughout , she`s slightly shorter than my BOB but she has a super jacket and pelt and moves soundly with reach and drive and little show girl RBOB Julie North (Northborders)
